Artificial Intelligence; a lesser god?

AI is going nowhere, it is here to stay.  The AI revolution is moving way too fast for comfort. The technology is, to coin a movie title, fast and furious.  From technocrats to governments to everyday people, AI is here to stay, but the ramifications are still unknown.  For one, many companies are looking to replace workers with AI. What will that do for the economy? Others look to AI as a lesser god that can bring unlimited knowledge and power to the human race.
