America: One of A Kind

Passionate in life; passionate in death.

When the Declaration of Independence was signed, Adams said it “will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated as the Day of Deliverance by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever.”

And so it is. As we celebrate this monumental day, the 250th birthday of America, I leave you with the words of Founding Father Joseph Warren, quoted by Ronald Reagan in his First Inaugural Address. Reagan shared:

“On the eve of our struggle for independence, a man who might have been one of the greatest among the Founding Fathers, Dr. Joseph Warren, President of the Massachusetts Congress, said to his fellow Americans, ‘Our country is in danger, but not to be despaired of…. On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important questions upon which rest the happiness and the liberty of millions yet unborn. Act worthy of yourselves.’”

Reagan continued, “Well, I believe we, the Americans of today, are ready to act worthy of ourselves, ready to do what must be done to ensure happiness and liberty for ourselves, our children, and our children’s children.”

Happy Independence Day!

Happy July 4th Weekend

Happy 4th of July weekend! 250th birthday of our great nation is truly unbelievable. Most nations max out before 200 years, but our great country was founded on Judeo-Christian values dedicated to the Almighty and re-dedicated to God as a Christian nation on this auspicious anniversary of our founding. Imagine a nation founded on the idea of all men being created equal. A dream of private ownership and the unlimited opportunity to be whatever your heart desires. A melting pot for those who came here for a new life and to fulfill the American dream. Our strength is in our ability to forge a nation and assimilate to ideas espoused in our Constitution.

We aren’t perfect, but in our past we had the will power to fix our wrongs and make life better for our citizens. Today we must reclaim that idea and come together for the greater good.

Jan Markell: Have Dispensational Theology And Christian Zionism ‘Corrupted Christianity’?

ByJan Markell

June 29, 2026

Excellent article by Jan Markell below. I agree 100% with her understanding of the final days. Please read entire article it has some very profound insights. One quick point, if this is the millennial kingdom now, forget about it. I see chaos and destruction and apostasy not perfection of Kingdom rule. We need to protect the truths of the Word of God. Doctrine is important. It is our foundation. Rh

Since I was old enough to understand it, I’ve believed, taught, and written about Dispensational Theology. I just call it “Left Behind Theology.” Critics say it is a modern invention that came along in the 1800s. Please, read the Bible. The prophetic angle of Dispensationalism represents one-third of the Bible.

Simple Definitions

Dispensationalism teaches a literal Antichrist, a literal “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” or Tribulation, a literal Rapture, a literal Second Coming, a literal thousand-year Millennium, and distinct roles for Israel and the church. Israel has a glorious future. God has made promises to her and will fulfill them, and the church has not replaced her.

A dispensation is the divine administration of a period of time–seven dispensations in God’s plan for humanity. God works in different ways with different people during different periods of time. Things were different pre-flood and post-flood. One could say there were different rules for different periods of time.

Since the 1970s, Hal Lindsey’s Late Great Planet Earth and the Left Behind book and film series by Tim LaHaye have been the face of Dispensationalism. Millions of people read and viewed these products and finally put a name to what they already believed just by reading the Bible.

The other option—Covenant Theology—does not see the promises to Israel as literal, but fulfilled in the church. It teaches Amillenialism, or we are in the Millennium now and have been since the cross.

Leave It To Tucker Carlson

But now this theology—since it represents the truth—is under brutal attack. And wouldn’t you know, Tucker Carlson has provided the platform to trash it. His guest, J.D. Hall, should be careful throwing stones.

According to “Ministry Watch,” Hall embezzled thousands of dollars from his church in Montana, was convicted of DUI, domestic abuse, and more. But he is Carlson’s spokesman to trash the truth for nearly two hours.

You can watch the painful ordeal here, but buckle up. Sadly, it has almost one million views on YouTube. Only conspiracies and lies can attain those numbers.

Christian Zionism Has Corrupted Christianity?

Hall denigrates Christian Zionism, as does Tucker Carlson, who insists “a lot of people have died because of Christian Zionism.” The program is titled, “Origins of Christian Zionism, How it Corrupted American Christianity and Why It Is Finally Collapsing.”

But think about the accusation: Christian Zionism has corrupted Christianity. That suggests standing by Israel has a cancerous effect.

Ray Fava, an under 30 online host and writer who loves to attack Dispensationalism, states, “J.D. Hall’s appearance on Tucker Carlson has shifted the conversation on Christian Zionism and Dispensationalism, as Hall has emerged as one of the best at articulating how Scripture disproves the premise of God’s chosen people not being the universal church.” He represents Covenant Theology as does J.D. Hall. The church is the new Israel.

Fava suggests that J.D. Hall and Carlson, “destroyed Dispensationalism.” It would take much more than these fools to accomplish that. It is wounded as I acknowledge below.

Blame it All on Darby and the Scofield Bible!

It is no surprise that The Gospel Coalition writes an article titled “The Rise & Fall of Dispensationalism: How the Evangelical Battle Over the End Times Shaped a Nation.”

John Nelson Darby gets all the blame by them, as well as the Scofield Bible. Darby would be shocked to hear what he is being credited for today! But even Al Mohler takes a swing at Darby as he further describes Dispensationalism’s rise and fall.

The early church was Dispensational and premillennial. Sadly, the Reformers held on to the eschatology of Rome and few got these issues right, thus millions of church attendees are being misled in thousands of churches.

The Firewall

But it is true that Dispensationalism is bruised. That should be expected since it provides a theological firewall against the raging antisemitism exploding around the world.

Thankfully, God has raised up some modern spokesmen, theologians, authors, and more, who are pushing back. Some include the above-mentioned Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHaye, along with Dr. Mark Hitchcock, Dr. Ron Rhodes, Dr. Jeff Kinley, Gary Hamrick, Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati, Terry James, Barry Stagner, Dr. Ed Hindson, Dr. Dave Reagan, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Todd Hampson, Brandon Holthaus, Tom Hughes, and many more. The list is long and I am leaving out many who should be included.

God knew we needed good theologians to share the truth today as we hurdle pell-mell into the very last days.

Replacing the Truth with Unsound Doctrine

Sadly, the 45 and under evangelical has pretty much abandoned Israel and Dispensationalism. They more readily embrace Covenant Theology and even Anglicanism. Many embrace the Palestinian cause and have no clue Yasser Arafat invented the people and Palestinianism.

They suggest writers like me represent “doom and gloom” and have misplaced loyalties that actually put Israel before Jesus! They say I am putting a damper on their future by suggesting the Rapture is imminent.

Leading to the Ultimate Abandonment

All of this is leading to the ultimate Israel abandonment spoken of in Zechariah 12:3, when Israel simply becomes the world’s “burdensome stone” and not the end-time marker and signal that time is running out andJesus is coming soon.

Israel is the clock; Jerusalem is the minute hand; the Temple Mount is the second hand.

‘Illogical And Ideological’: Euthanasia Legislation Debate Returns to U.K. Parliament – Harbinger’s Daily

In 2025, Labour MP Kim Leadbeater introduced the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill to allow “terminally ill adults with six months or less to live to qualify for assisted suicide measures under specified safeguards,” as reported by Christian Daily International. The bill passed the House of Commons but…

As a youth Pastor many years ago, I told my youth group that one day we would see euthanasia as a normal practice. My reasoning was the easy access to abortion. We are seeing this today throughout Europe and in Canada. God help us! Rh

Who Do You Believe??

The future use of Iranian funds has long been one of the most politically sensitive issues surrounding any agreement with Tehran.

Who do you believe, that is the question. I am not calling Vance and Trump liars, but there is no way the Iranian regime is going to do what Vance said they would do.

Even if they did distribute some of the money to be used for food, that would only allow them to divert other monies to re-claim their missile program or their nuclear ambitions.

If we give him the benefit of the doubt and say Vance truly believes the Iranians, it tells me he is a novice at best, and a fool at worst. Harsh words maybe, but accurate. So do we have a deal or is this just propaganda on both sides? Or are the Iranians lying, and if they are we need to continue the war.

One final note, in the Muslim faith they have a word to describe the act of deceiving or lying to a mon Muslim. It is called “Taqiyya.” You see the Islamist use their faith as military action, not as a true religion. So there we have it, whatever is finally agreed upon will never be what Iran will do. Guarantee that for a fact.

Forty-seven years of failure and now we are so close to total victory. Mr. President, finish the job. Demand complete and total surrender. On our terms. Rh

Epilogue: I will have more at another time on Vance, he has proven himself not ready for the big stage!

Update:

The regime doesn’t change its spots, and as Secretary of State Marco Rubio laid out this past weekend, the regime in Tehran has, and will continue to be, the driving force behind Middle East terror and turmoil.

“Every problem in the Middle East tracks back to Iran,” Rubio stressed. “Hezbollah—Iran. Shia militias that are destroying and threatening Iraq—Iran. Hamas—Iran. The Houthis—Iran. Assad when he was in Syria—Iran. Everywhere you turn, they’re behind all of it.”

“They are a destabilizing, dangerous, evil force that had to be dealt with,” he emphasized. “They have to be weakened.” Quote from Secretary Marco Rubio

If We Forget Our Story, We Lose Our Identity

More than two decades ago, in 2004, Harvard professor Samuel Huntington warned in his book “Who Are We?” that America was facing a crisis of identity. He argued that a nation cannot remain united without a common culture, a common history, and a common understanding of itself. Remove those foundations, and a society inevitably fragments into competing tribes, interests, and identities.

Huntington pointed to the Anglo-Protestant Creed as the core of America’s unifying identity. He argued that America’s political institutions and civic ideals did not arise in a vacuum but were rooted in a culture shaped by Protestant Christianity.

If Huntington identified the foundation of America’s shared identity, educator E.D. Hirsch explained how that identity was transmitted: through a common biblical literacy that provided Americans with a shared vocabulary, history, and moral framework. Without that shared knowledge, the cultural foundations of national identity inevitably begin to erode.

The Founding Fathers were immersed in biblical imagery. Benjamin Franklin famously proposed a national seal depicting Moses at the Red Sea. The Israelites’ exodus taught lessons about liberty, tyranny, divine providence, and national purpose.

The Bible shaped how Americans understood freedom, law, covenant, human dignity, and self-government. Even those who were not orthodox Christians were influenced by the biblical worldview that permeated colonial America.

But what happens when that biblical literacy disappears?

A nation that forgets its story loses its identity. And when a people lose their identity, they become fragmented. That is precisely what Huntington warned about. Americans increasingly identify themselves by race, class, political ideology, or special interest rather than by a common national story.

The consequences of this loss of historical memory extend beyond America’s understanding of itself. They also affect America’s understanding of one of the most important sources of its cultural inheritance: the Jewish people and the biblical story of Israel.

America’s affinity for the Jewish people did not begin with the modern State of Israel. For generations, Americans viewed Jewish history through the lens of Scripture and found in Israel’s story lessons about liberty, covenant, and national purpose.

As biblical literacy declines, Israel is increasingly viewed only through a contemporary political lens, ignoring its biblical and historical foundations. Meanwhile, anti-Semitism has risen across America and the West. Certainly, anti-Semitism has many causes. Yet it is difficult to ignore the connection between a society that no longer understands the Bible and one that increasingly misunderstands the Jewish people whose history fills its pages.

The rise of anti-Semitism and the weakening of support for Israel did not occur overnight. The ground was prepared over decades as biblical literacy declined, historical memory faded, and Americans became disconnected from the sources that once helped them understand both their own identity and the identity of the Jewish people.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we have an opportunity not merely to commemorate our history but to recover it. We can rediscover the biblical foundations that shaped our nation and strengthen the shared identity Huntington warned was slipping away.

The Bible is not merely a religious text but one of the foundational documents of American civilization. To understand America, one must understand the Bible. And when that understanding is lost, we lose not only part of our history but part of our identity.

Powerful and very timely, we have lost our bearings in America. Too many liberal politicians have wanted to be like Europe. Open borders and a lack of spiritual discernment will eventually make the U.S. a weakened version of itself. We must repent and return to the Almighty. Our Christian values must be reclaimed. Morality must be returned to the public square, as well as the pulpit. We are living on borrowed time, just one bad election and we will be doomed to mediocrity. Rh

           America’s Moral Divide

For decades Americans have debated politics.  But today, the deepest and most divisive divide is on morality itself.  We  used to argue about taxes, foreign policy, or the size of government.  But today it is on moral issues.

A newly released Gallup survey reveals a nation that is not merely disagreeing over politics but increasingly unable to agree on what is right and wrong. The results paint a picture of two Americas operating from entirely different moral frameworks, with Democrats and Republicans often holding views that appear almost irreconcilable.

The numbers are startling.

According to Gallup, 73% of Democrats now view abortion as morally acceptable, compared to just 18% of Republicans.  60% of Dems say changing one’s gender is morally acceptable, while only 5% of Republicans agree.

Notice a trend, Democrats are fleeing from moral constraints while Republicans hold to a more traditional moral equivalency.  81% of Democrats consider gay or lesbian relationships morally acceptable, compared to 35% of Republicans.  47% of Democrats view pornography as morally acceptable versus just 19% of Republicans.  Unbelievable is the stat that over half Democrats consider sex between teenagers morally acceptable, while only a small fraction of Republicans agree.

This is not political disagreements, but a moral view of a nation.  Once we were not only a moral nation, but highly Christian.  Not any more, depravity is rampant throughout America.  My eye witness account of this divide occurred a couple of years ago.  In an extremely red county in a red state, a prominent city allowed a drag Queen in the park show to be allowed.  Many of us spoke against this travesty on two occasions before the city council, but to no avail.

I attempted to have a Faith and Family rally in the same city and the same park later that very year.  I was told that the council was not allowing any large groups in the park due to noise issues.  Funny, it was not an issue just two months before.  And my initial contact with the person in charge of the park saw no problem with the event.  The council quickly passed a noise ordinance, so no Christians need apply.  The county was red politically, but the small city had a democratic majority.  Moral divide exists in America even in small towns.

The divide comes when a nation no longer shares a moral code or outlook.  Democrats and Luciferian leftist wish to transform America into a proverbial Sodom & Gomorrah.  The division is so sharp that only a true move of God will ever get the two factions back together.

America will never be destroyed from a foreign power, but it might be destroyed from within.  That my friends is exactly what is happening in our nation.  Hedonism is the rule of the day in many areas of our country.

Our fight today is not left vs. right, but right vs. wrong.  For Christians, the Gallup findings should not merely be viewed as political data.  They should serve as a spiritual wake-up call.  We as Americans are traveling in two distant and polar opposite moral directions.

Can America survive?  Only if we right our moral division.  That only comes from a shift back to our Judeo-Christian values.  Prayer and repentance is our only recourse.

Our Trust Is In The Lord

Stepping back from the disastrous Iran deal, I turn my eyes toward the Lord. He is our sufficiency and in Him I trust. Disappointed and heart broken for all the Iranian lives that have been lost throughout the years with a radical Islamist regime in power.

I never thought Trump would be the one to fall on his knees and capitulate, but he did. Just a few days away from victory against Hamas and Iran, he stopped!, Why? The Bible says ‘can two walk together unless they are in agreement”. Was the Qatari money and the new Presidential plane just too much for a greedy old man with thoughts of grandeur in his heart? Maybe.

It is very interesting that only after a visit, which should have been postponed, to China did Trump seem ready for a deal at any cost. His rhetoric never did match what was happening on the ground. For those who thought DJT was playing three D chess, think again. He lost, America will survive of course, but the relationship with Israel may not, and that my friends is serious.

A learned man once said “Iran has never won a war, but has never lost a negotiation”. Well Mr. Trump your very own words stare back at you.

For those of us who study Bible prophecy, it is God who protects Israel, not the ranting of a prideful man. Yes one day when the next big war breaks out it could be the Ezekiel war of Chapter 38. Iran was never to be totally destroyed, but now, Israel and their God Jehovah must fight for them.

Please be in prayer as a new Middle East is forming. Not sure if America will like it, but it is our doing. Your legacy Mr. Trump that you are so fond of, just took a direct hit. You stand in a long line of failed Presidents when it comes to the MIddle East.

Final note who is out front leading the charge for this deal? Vance not Rubio, very telling. That my friends says it all. Rh

Inside Israel Analysis

Forwarded from Amir Tsarfati, a Messianic Jew, author and former IDF soldier. Great take on the supposed deal with Iran. Enjoy the read. Rh

After several hours of confusion and uncertainty, it’s time to bring some order to the situation.

What exactly did Trump agree to?

The agreement rests on two very lean principles:

“The Strait of Hormuz must remain open to free navigation, and Iran must not possess nuclear weapons.”

Trump has insisted in nearly every other post that Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, while simultaneously pushing to keep the Strait of Hormuz open to unrestricted maritime traffic at any cost.

But why was Trump so eager to reach such a minimal agreement? Why did he pressure Israel not to interfere, even at the cost of merging the various fronts and exposing soldiers to greater danger? Why did J.D. Vance, who has opposed military intervention, suddenly move to the forefront while Rubio faded into the background? And why has no one managed to offer a convincing explanation beyond references to the World Cup, birthdays, the midterm elections, and other superficial reasons for this apparent obsession?

Most importantly: What does Trump intend to do with Iran during the 60-day ceasefire he has effectively bought for himself?

It is possible – and I emphasize that this is an informed analysis of events, not verified information—that the answers lie in what took place in Beijing during the visit held last month (May 13–15, 2026).

Trump arrived in China after not meeting President Xi for nine years. Over the previous year, he had reshaped the global economic landscape through tariffs, supply chains, and trade routes in an effort to reduce China’s dominance and push it into a corner. He had even postponed the visit for a month because of the operation against Iran.

However, Trump arrived in Beijing in a weaker position than he had planned. He had hoped to come as the victor over Iran and force China to accept new trade oversight mechanisms, agreements on rare earth minerals, and AI cooperation that would secure American leadership of the global economy.

But the Chinese did not cooperate.

Instead, they threatened escalation and even the possibility of a wider global conflict, particularly through pressure on Taiwan. They were also deeply concerned about the loss of cheap Iranian oil supplies that the United States had disrupted.

As is often the case between great powers, the talks did not collapse. Some significant deals were reached – most notably Boeing’s sale of 200 aircraft to China. But the joint statement was remarkably brief, containing only one key sentence:

“The Strait of Hormuz must remain open to free navigation, and Iran must not possess nuclear weapons.”

Those are precisely the same principles that now define the agreement with Iran.

Trump is persistent and determined to continue building what he sees as a new global order under American economic leadership. After encountering Chinese resistance to broader agreements, he may have settled for a simpler bargain: oil in exchange for a non-nuclear Iran.

Like a businessman honoring a deal, he returned determined to fulfill his part of the bargain.

From that perspective, everything became acceptable: pressuring Israel to lower its profile, allowing Qataris, Pakistanis, and Saudis to serve as mediators, and bringing in J.D. Vance – whom the Iranians and Pakistanis reportedly trust more than Rubio or Witkoff. The overriding objective was simply to secure signatures and an agreement.

If this theory is correct—and if Trump did not simply turn against Israel in favor of Qatar and Pakistan – then Iran itself is not his primary concern, despite the fact that it allegedly tried to assassinate him only two years ago.

Instead, he will use these two months to complete his side of the understanding with China: ensure that Iran remains non-nuclear, after which Israel, America’s exemplary ally, will return to the position it has occupied over the past year and a half.

As for a formal nuclear agreement: if it succeeds, all the better. By Amir Tsarfati

Deal Was Made: A Bad Deal Uninforceable

President Trump: The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow! President DONALD J. TRUMP

As Churchill wrote to Lord Moyne right before the Munich agreement:

“We seem to be very near the bleak choice between War and Shame. My feeling is that we shall choose Shame, and then have War thrown in a little later on even more adverse terms than at present.”

Americas chose shame

War will come a little later Amir Tsarfati

For whatever reason, Trump cowered. Mark my words, this war is not over. The West is ceding democracies all across Europe and even in the U.S. The rise of Islam is here. J. D Vance, Kushner and Witkoff are the instigators of this defeat. The art of a bad deal!

Very sad day in America. Rh
