In the fourth major collegiate revival in less than a month, thousands of students gathered at the University of Arkansas on Thursday night to seek Jesus Christ and find salvation in His name.
Unite US reports that 10,000 students from 67 different universities gathered in Bud Walton Arena.
“Jesus met us there,” the ministry said in an Instagram post. “We were blown away by His presence in the room and how it carried over to baptisms. It was a night we’ll never forget.”
One young man shared his powerful testimony right before getting baptized at the event, saying, “I spent a lot of years running from God. I just came to Jesus about five weeks ago, but I got caught up in, I’ll just say it, cocaine and alcohol. I had a lot of really near-death experiences and I think Jesus had his hand on my life because I should not be here.”
Evangelist Tonya Prewett reports that, so far, over 2,000 salvations and over 800 baptisms have taken place through the Unite US campus events over the past year.
“I believe this is the generation that will usher in the greatest move of God we’ve ever seen, and we’re seeing that,” Prewett said during a recent podcast. “And I do believe what we had in the fall and the spring of this past year is just the beginning. Greater things are coming, and I feel for the end of this year and leading into 2025, something greater is coming. God is doing something across this nation… I do believe this move of God on college campuses is ushering in a greater awakening.” Praise God! Hoping this move of God spreadsacross the nation. Rh
First off, Christians have a moral duty to vote and to vote Biblical values. Pastors or church members who say we should not get involved in elections are checking out of society. Governmental decisions directly impact all areas of life. When the Church is silent, evil and greedy power hungry politicians are free to destroy our country. We must vote! Look at the moral issues of today. Are not Pastors and church members supposed to speak into the immorality that we are witnessing on a daily basis? Yes!
As a Christian there are certain issues I can not vote for. What does the Bible say? Does your candidate or party platform endorse these anti God issues? If so, the choice is simple. You can’t as a Christian vote for these people. Case closed.
Nonstarters for me are, abortion, transgender surgeries, homosexual marriage, porn in our school libraries, promoting the gender dystopia in our schools or society, lgbtq+ and since breaking the law is sin, open borders. We cannot allow immorality and we can’t permit our country to be overrun by people who want to be in America and not be Americans. These are the moral issues only, not to mention high taxation, inflation, energy independence, rule of law and other issues that are more governmental instead of moral.
Christian cannot praise Jesus on Sunday and vote for immorality on Tuesday. Case closed. Tell it to Jesus
One candidate and party has embraced all the immoral issues that I could never accept. So not voting for her or anyone else identified with “that party” is an easy decision.
Now comes the hard part. The other candidate and party has softened its commitment to life, while still professing a stance of support for the Pro Life position. Going so far as to blame Pro Life supporters for losses in the 2022 midterms. Not good. Having a fund raiser with a pro gay and lgbtq group. Again a horrible look. Hmm that doesn’t look or sound very good. This candidate is very good on Israel, energy, ending wars, the border and the economy. This candidate also appointed many conservative judges including three on the Supreme Court. See the conundrum. The moving away from traditional Biblical values is frightening to me. But in the final analysis a candidate that loves America and wants the best for its people and is pro freedom of speech and religion is a big plus.
In the final analysis one Party and candidate is an absolute NO for moral and ethical reasons. The other Party and candidate have major flaws, yes major, but is by far the best hope for America at this time. Do I wish a more conservative Godly man or woman were running? Absolutely!! Is he going to save America? No! Only a true spirit of repentance, and a return to our Godly roots will be the only hope for us. We are on the brink of destruction. This is the most important election in our history. Will we still be a nation after this election, yes but what kind?
I will vote for Trump with my nose pinched and hope for better days. Which quite honestly I have done for almost all Presidential elections in my lifetime. The saddest part of this composition is the fact that if close to one-half of our country truly will vote for the democratic “Demonic Duo”, we have lost the status of “A Christian Nation”.
The truth is we are not voting for a Pastor, but the leader of the free world! A Samson who takes the jaw bone of a donkey and destroys the enemies of the United States of America.
If my people…will return to me saith the Lord! 2 Chronicles 7:14. Rh
This is a prophetic warning. It is the first time the Holy Spirit has ever compelled me to prophesy over an election.
The first words I heard were, “Daughter of Lies.” The second words I heard were, “There is no coming back from this.”
The Lord took me to 1 Samuel 8. Israel wanted a king. God told Samuel to solemnly warn the people that they were choosing disaster.
1 Samuel 8:7-9, And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”
Why was the term “Daughter of lies” spoken to me? This allegory explains it:
“We have an employee that we hired 3 1/2 years ago. She was given tasks but did not complete a single one of them. She had a performance review and failed it, so she backstabbed her elderly supervisor.
“Now she is demanding a promotion in November, but she refuses to interview for the new position. She promises that if she gets the promotion, she will do all of the tasks she had failed to do before. But she won’t do them now in order to force us to give her the promotion.
“What should we do?”
Sincerely, the USA.
Here is what Samuel told Israel that choosing an evil leader was going to cost them:
It will cost them their sons and daughters.
1 Samuel 8:10-11, So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who asked him for a king. And he said, “This will be the behavior of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them for his own chariots and to be his horsemen, and some will run before his chariots.”
It will bring wars.
1 Samuel 8:12-13, “He will appoint captains over his thousands and captains over his fifties, he will set some to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and some to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers, cooks, and bakers.”
He will take the best.
14-15, “And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants. He will take a tenth of your grain and your vintage and give it to his officers and servants.”
He will steal the productivity of the workers for his own enrichment.
16-17, “And he will take your male servants, your female servants, your finest young men, and your donkeys, and put them to his work. He will take a tenth of your sheep. And you will be his bondservants.”
You will lose the voice of God.
18-19, “And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.” Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us,”
It is all about globalism: They will lose their unique identity.
20 “that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.”
The same list of woes applies to us if we elect Harris.
The Holy Spirit is warning you that Kamala will cost you your children’s future.
God is warning you that she will take us into wars.
The government will take the best. Her socialism will impoverish American workers to enrich the ruling elite.
But here is the heart of the matter:
Disaster was embedded in the utterly insane desire of the Israel to “be like other nations.” Likewise for Harris—it is all about globalism.
Satan knew that Israel’s uniqueness was the Law of God and the presence of God. To be like other nations spelled doom.
In the same way, Christianity causes American exceptionalism. That is why the Left fights so bitterly to destroy our Christian roots.
20,000,000 illegal immigrants were brought here by design. The plan is to destroy our freedom and our identity as a Christian nation. The plan is to herd us into obscurity.
But here is the ultimate question: What does it mean for a Christian to vote for Harris?
That is the most chilling part of this prophetic warning. God left the worst for last. After Samuel took great pains to show them the calamity their choice would bring, He gave them the ultimate warning:
18, “And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you in that day.”
God is asking you a question. How can you possibly believe you will emerge unscathed if you violate everything the Word of God teaches, and then vote for her anyway?
I wholeheartedly agree with every word Mario wrote. This is a moment to save America and to also save the world. Because for the One World Government to rule, America must be destroyed, or at the best weakened beyond recognition. Rh
Leesburg, VA – In a sermon Sunday, Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel urged Christians to rise above political apathy and vote with unwavering adherence to biblical values. Addressing the congregation and live-stream audience, Pastor Hamrick sought to send a warning and a challenge beyond his northern Virginia church.
CBN News Senior Correspondent Tara Mergener has the interview.
Hamrick’s annual election sermons, which attracts viewers worldwide and generate upwards of A million views online, reflect his influence within the Christian community.
In the sermon, Hamrick highlighted statistics that show out of approximately 90 million Christians in the United States, 40 million are expected to stay home on Election Day, and 15 million are not even registered to vote. He attributes this apathy to a misplaced focus on candidates’ personalities rather than their policies and principles. Furthermore, he pointed to a broader issue within the church: many churches have become silent on critical social and political issues, leaving their congregations without guidance on how to navigate these complex times.
“The stakes are too high for us to ignore,” Pastor Hamrick said. “Voting is not just a privilege; it’s a duty. It’s our responsibility to be good stewards of the freedom and values we’ve been entrusted with.” He drew parallels to biblical stewardship, referencing the parable of the two servants to emphasize that just as the master entrusted his possessions to his servants, so too has God entrusted Christians with the privilege of living in a free country and participating in its governance.
Hamrick condemned the cultural narrative that frames moral and social issues as purely political and criticized the trend of churches retreating from addressing these issues from the pulpit, which he believes contrubutes to widespread confusion and inaction among Christians. “Churches have gone silent on these crucial matters,” he said. “It’s time for pastors to step up and guide their flocks with biblical clarity and courage.”
Regarding the upcoming election, Pastor Hamrick addressed a range of critical concerns, including judicial appointments, the sanctity of life, support for Israel, biological sex, and religious freedom. He expressed disappointment over the lack of a truly pro-life candidate, noting that neither major candidate fully aligns with pro-life values. Nevertheless, he encouraged voters to evaluate candidates based on policies that align closest with their biblical beliefs, even if no candidate meets all criteria perfectly.
He also gave practical advice for those looking to engage in the political process. He urged church members to be registered, become election officers, and, most importantly, engage in prayer. “We need to pray for our candidates, our country, and trust in God’s sovereignty,” he said. He reminded his congregation of the importance of faith in the political process, asserting that no matter who occupies the White House, God remains on the throne.
“Christians must rise above apathy and engage in the electoral process with a focus on their values. “Every election is crucial,” he emphasized. “We cannot afford to sit this one out. Vote according to your values, and trust in the Lord’s plan.”
How I pray we could have 10 thousand Pastors with a vision to encourage theircongregations to vote Biblical values. That would transform our nation. Rh
During Tuesday night’s presidential debate, ABC’s Linsey Davis “fact-checked” former President Donald Trump’s comments regarding children who survive abortions.
A chorus of journalists immediately questioned Davis’ “correction” of Trump, expressing that the Republican nominee made a valid point about some states’ pro-abortion policies.
Davis, who co-moderated the debate alongside her ABC colleague David Muir, claimed: “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born.”
The moderator made the claim after Trump answered her question regarding his stance on abortion.
In Trump’s answer, he said that the Democrats take a “radical” position on the issue, adding: “They have abortion in the ninth month.”
Trump had also referred to a 2019 interview of then-Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, who said that a “discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother” if a baby was born alive following a failed late-term abortion. Trump initially incorrectly referred to Northam as the former governor of West Virginia.
Minutes after Davis attempted to debunk Trump’s response, the Media Research Center took to X (formerly Twitter) with a “fact check” of its own.
“Babies are regularly murdered after they are born in botched abortions,” wrote the watchdog group.
The Daily Signal’s Mary Margaret Olohan wrote in an article last month, “data from the Minnesota Department of Health shows that at least eight babies who survived abortions” in Minnesota “were left to die.”
Signal Managing Editor Tyler O’Neil posted a link to Olohan’s piece on X shortly after Davis’ “fact check” at the debate.
Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz has been the Governor of Minnesota since 2019.
“Under a 2015 Minnesota law, the state formerly was required to report whether abortions resulted in the live birth of a baby, what actions were taken to preserve the life of that baby, and whether the baby survived,” Olohan continued:
Those reporting requirements exposed that between Jan. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2021, physicians performed five abortions that resulted in a baby’s live birth.
No measures were taken to help the first baby, who reportedly had “fetal anomalies” that resulted “in death shortly after delivery.” Two of the babies were given “comfort care measures” as they died. No measures were taken to “preserve life” of the last two babies, who were previable.
Previous data from the Minnesota Department of Health reveals that physicians have been leaving babies to die after failed abortions for years.
“Not true, ABC News,” wrote Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins on X Wednesday afternoon, responding to Davis’ “fact check.”
“In 12 states, children born alive after a failed abortion have no legal protection, and in three more states children born alive after an abortion had legal rights that governors—like Tim Walz—repealed,” Perkins wrote, citing the FRC’s data.
“Medical personnel have testified of babies being left to die or gruesomely killed after being born alive following a failed abortion,” he added.
Perkins posted a map to X showing each state’s level of protection for babies born alive following failed abortions. The map is also available on the FRC website.
Compact Magazine founder and editor Matthew Schmitz wrote on X Wednesday: “In 2022, years before Tim Walz emerged on the national scene, I pointed out that babies who survived abortion procedures were being left to die in Minnesota.”
Schmitz referred to a July 2022 post by pro-life journalist Micaiah Bilger.
In the post, Bilger enclosed what Schmitz referred to as a screenshot from the Walz administration’s Minnesota Department of Health.
“FIVE babies were born alive in abortions and left to die in Minnesota in 2021,” Bilger wrote, underlining nearly identical language in the screenshot. “FIVE – in one state!”
As always the democratic party is the party of death! They love to destroy lives from abortion to trans surgeries which destroys the mental and physical lives of trans people. If we don’t return to God, He will surely judge America. Rh
Interesting how even Christian colleges are compromising on Biblical values. Why would any Christian school want any part of Planned (murder) Parenthood
Another Revival at Texas A&M Corpus Christi as 1,500 Hear Gospel, 62 Baptized – Benjamin Gill/CBN News
So very excited about this article. Is it possible that God is beginning a move among our young people? Various campuses have experienced a move of God in the past couple of years.
Yes let us pray for our nation for a return to Biblical values and for souls for the kingdom. Following the turbulent decade of the 1960’s, we saw a “Jesus Revolution” begin on the west coast. God bring repentance, and restoration to our land! Revive us Lord! Rh.
College campuses across the country have seen significant signs of spiritual awakening over the past few years from Asbury to Auburn. Now there’s another example of revival breaking out on the Corpus Christi campus of Texas A&M University.
A recent campus gathering organized by New Life Young Adults drew nearly more than a thousand students to hear the gospel.
Pastor Michael Fehlauer of New Life Church posted, “Nearly 1500 students last night Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi… 62 water baptisms… Powerful testimonies… Many physically healed and delivered! Jesus is Lord….. and He is coming back.”
The Christian Post reports a message was preached about the “conviction, cleansing and commissioning that follows a genuine encounter with God.”
And this wasn’t just a one-day event for that church. Throughout the month of August, New Life Young Adults was reporting powerful images of God’s power moving among hundreds of students.
