Rep. Buck: Actual national debt is $30 trillion, ‘There’s no conversation’ in D.C. about repaying it

‘This troubles me greatly, but all I see is more spending’ with ‘no conversation in Washington D.C. about how to pay this money back,’ Rep. Buck says

Rep. Ken Buck told Just the News that the national debt is $30 trillion when the actions that the Federal Reserve has taken during the pandemic are factored into the total.

“This troubles me greatly but all I see is more spending. So how high do we get? We are going to continue to spend until the markets say enough is enough and nobody buys the bonds and then we have the cliff that we go off of,” Buck said during an exclusive interview.

The government spent $864 billion more than it took in during June, bringing the deficit to a record $2.7 trillion so far this year.

According to Treasury Department data, the debt held by the public is $20.6 trillion, and the total outstanding national debt is more than $26.5 trillion. 

Buck, author of the new book, “Capitol of Freedom: Restoring American Greatness,” said he wrote the book, in part, because progressive politicians want to take the country in the wrong direction.

“I don’t think that our founding fathers would recognize our political system now,” Buck said. “I think that ‘Capitol of Freedom’ really spells that out because our founding fathers intended to realign the relationship between government and the people and the people are in charge of government and that’s something that didn’t exist before the United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution

“So I hope long before then we act responsibly and dial this back. But the reality is that we are at 30 trillion because we’ve authorized the Fed to engage in, you know, debt, accumulating more debt. And so I think that the spending is one of the largest issues to come out of this COVID. And unfortunately, there’s no conversation in Washington D.C., about how to pay this money back,” he also said.

“This group calls themselves progressives. They are regressives. We are moving backwards. We are moving more and more towards a totalitarian system that existed with a monarchy in Europe or some other country, and it’s just unfortunate, but our founders would see so much of what’s going on now in this country as contrary to what they planned,” he also said. by Nicholas Ballasay from JUSTTHENEWS.COM

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that the FBI acted without her authorization when interviewing incoming national security advisor Michael Flynn in January 2017.

When asked during the Senate hearing whether then-FBI Director James Comey “went rogue,” Yates replied, “You could use that term, yes.”

Yates is testify as part of the committee’s “Oversight of the Crossfire Hurricane Investigation,” which is focused on the FBI probe, under the Obama administration, into whether the 2016 Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the race.

Pence: ‘The Choice We Face Is Whether America Remains America’

TAMPA—Vice President Mike Pence portrayed a stark contrast facing America during a visit Wednesday to the swing state of Florida.

“We stand at a crossroads of freedom,” Pence said. “Before us lie two paths: One based on the dignity and worth of every individual, and the other on the growing control of the state. One road leads to greater freedom and opportunity, and the other road leads to socialism and decline.”

He added, “The choice we face is whether America remains America.”

Pence’s words drew strong applause from the 250 supporters gathered in the hotel ballroom. It was Pence’s third and final stop in the Tampa area, where he was greeted with flag-waving and sign-toting supporters along the route of the motorcade. Pence also visited a women’s medical clinic and a Baptist church Wednesday.

Throughout the day, Pence touted the Trump administration’s pro-life achievements and commitment to religious freedom while offering a warning to supporters on what the future might hold.

I’m Sick of Covid-19

Let me first say there is a virus that can be fatal, but the overreaction to what is going on now is literally making me sick. You can’t get it by being in the same room or touching something someone else has touched, unless there is some type of fluid on the surface. If it were that contagious every person in the grocery store or at a gas pump on that has touched any other surface would have contracted this virus. Cans of vegetables, key pads, etc would have spread this virus exponentially. I am not a medical doctor, but I am sick of what is happening in our country.

Don’t you think it’s time to live. I say we all just live like this virus never happened. I haven’t worn a mask except to go into a business and then I immediately take it off. I have not necessarily practiced any social distancing. I know personally of at least 3 families that a member of the family had covid and none of the rest of the family contracted it. Explain that. All in close contact with each other. In all cases it was the mom, the care giver who had it.

We have been fed a lie to control us. Thank God our church is open for business, otherwise I might just go off the deep end. Well not really. I know some may disagree with this, but just my opinion. Here where I live people are pretty much living life and we have no great outbreak at all. Let’s just say it, it’s over and let’s start living.

By the way if a mask works and you are wearing one, you are safe, even if I don’t. And if it doesn’t…..

At least we know the expiration date of the virus. Nov. 3 2020.

‘If men and women of faith and conviction don’t come to the rescue of their country, it is doomed’

Famed commentator Conrad Black wrote recently of President Trump’s Mount Rushmore speech on the July 4th weekend, and said those Republicans who now are opposing Trump, and thinking of aligning themselves with “the almost leaderless Democratic Party” will forever give up any political influence if they continue.

And libertarian conservative philosopher Thomas Sowell said that “point of no return” will be approaching for the entire nation should presumption Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden get elected.

“If the election goes to Biden,” he said, “there’s a good chance that the Democrats will then control the two branches of Congress and the White House. And considering the kinds of things that they’re proposing, that could well be the point of no return for this country.”

“What is frightening is how many people in responsible positions are caving into every demand that is made, repeating any kind of nonsense that you’re supposed to repeat,” Sowell said. “I do believe that we may well reach a point of no return. I hope that, of course, will never happen. But there is such a thing as a point of no return. Susan Rice Lied About Benghazi. She Also Lied Under Oath About Knowledge of FBI’s Russia Collusion Investigation by Gregg Jarrett

Her “contradiction could lead to charges that Rice lied to Congress about a topic still of intense interest to investigators”

Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice swore under oath she was never told about an FBI investigation looking into Russian collusion with the Trump campaign while serving under President Obama. However, Real Clear Investigations writes it’s a claim “that until now has escaped scrutiny.” We know this because former FBI Director James Comey testified Rice was in the meeting when he told President Obama about the FBI operation Crossfire Hurricane.

RCI notes that Rice is currently one of the top potential picks for vice president to be on the ticket with Biden. However, her “contradiction could lead to charges that Rice lied to Congress about a topic still of intense interest to investigators: How actively involved in the effort to spy on the Trump campaign was the inner circle of the Obama White House, including the president himself?” writes RCI.

Could this realization hurt Rice’s chances for veep? Lying in order to damage Trump is generally a positive for Democrats so likely it won’t damage her. Even the mainstream media undoubtedly won’t give it the attention it merits. Nonetheless, Real Clear Investigations is doing its best to educate the public.

When we asked Comey about meetings with the White House concerning Crossfire Hurricane, he said that although he did not brief the White House about the investigation, he did mention to President Obama and others at a meeting in the Situation Room that the FBI was trying to determine whether any U.S. person had worked with the Russians in their efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election…

Comey said he thought it was important that the President know the nature of the FBI’s efforts without providing any specifics. Comey said although he did not recall exactly what he said, he may have said there were four individuals with ‘some association or connection to the Trump campaign.’ Comey stated that after he provided this information, no one at the meeting responded or followed up with any questions. Blue blowback: More than 100 police agencies bow out of DNC convention over crowd rules

Most agencies are pulling out citing Milwaukee’s new ban on the use of tear gas and pepper spray by police

More than 100 police agencies are now backing out of agreements to send officers to next Month’s Democratic National Convention, in Milwaukee. Among the given reasons is that officers are concerned about a recent order by local authorities halting the use tear gas to control unruly crowds.

Last week, the Milwaukee police chief was order to justify his department’s usage of tear gas during protests in late May and early June spurred by the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. A citizen oversight commission has now ordered the Milwaukee police department to ban the use of tear gas and pepper spray. Police Chief Alfonso Morales reportedly could lose his position, should he fail to meet that requirement.

Since the order went into effect, Morales says that more than 100 law enforcement agencies from in-state and across the country have opted against coming to Milwaukee for the convention. The initial plan for the convention included having 1,000 officers on hand to assist with security measures. Morales now says the city is considering asking for assistance from the federal government and/or mobilizing the National Guard.

In my opinion it just shows how out of touch democrats are to ask police for safety when they are actively trying to defund and are constantly blaming police at every turn. In my mind this is more reap what you sow than anything else. Why is it only the ruling class gets protection in this country? Democrats want your money, guns, religion and your soul to bow down to their version of little (god) government. They always know best, as long as it hinders your freedom.
