Sorry Mr. President; We Can’t Be “Flexible” on Tax Payer Funded Abortion

IMO this is a hard fact that if any politician turns his or her back on the pro-life stance, they have lost my vote. I will NEVER vote for someone who sanctions murdering babies in the womb!! That is my red line in the sand and millions of other Americans stand with me. Rh

President Trump’s suggestion that Congressional Republicans be “a little flexible” on the Hyde amendment is just the latest backstep from the pro-life positions that once had people referring to him as “the most pro-life President in history.” The Hyde Amendment prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion and has been inserted into appropriations bills since 1976. Rep. Henry Hyde was the first to insert the language and the issue has been hotly contested ever since.

During the Clinton Administration, Republicans shut down the government rather than support spending bills that did not contain Hyde protections. During Affordable Care Act debates in the Obama Administration, pro-life Democrats—now extinct in the nation’s capital—threatened to kill the bill unless Hyde protections were in place. It was even a defining issue of the 2020 presidential election. Former President Joe Biden had supported the Hyde Amendment for decades in Congress but abandoned that position when it became a requirement for gaining the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.

The amount of political capital invested in preserving the Hyde Amendment until now is part of what makes President Trump’s suggestion to become “a little flexible” peculiar. Republicans control everything in Washington, D.C. Why abandon hard won territory when you’re still in charge?

Maybe the president spoke loosely. After all, less than a year ago—on Jan. 24, 2025—he signed an executive order titled “Enforcing the Hyde Amendment,” which vowed to uphold Hyde and to reverse actions by the Biden Administration that had undermined Hyde’s intent. If the issue was meaningful enough to warrant an executive order a year ago, why is he now preparing people to surrender it?

Nevertheless, the pivot is not completely surprising. Trump has been retreating from orthodox pro-life positions ever since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade. A series of state ballot measures in which the abortion industry prevailed—even in conservative states—appears to have convinced him that the pro-life cause is a loser, and we all know how the president feels about losers. At the Republican convention in 2024, the Trump team stripped the Republican platform of its clear pro-life positions. As president, he has become a vocal advocate for in vitro fertilization, which results in the death of more than 90% of the embryos it creates, and the administration has recently defended Biden administration rules related to abortion drugs.

But abandoning the Hyde Amendment would arguably be even more troubling because it is a moral minimum. It is the reasonable middle ground even Joe Biden supported for decades. The Hyde Amendment is not fundamentally about abortion, but conscience rights. It doesn’t limit anyone’s ability to have an abortion; it simply prohibits the government from forcing taxpayers to pay for their neighbor’s abortions. The Hyde Amendment is not an extreme position, opposition to it is.

The president’s statements were made to House Republicans at their annual policy retreat in Washington, D.C. On the heels of the longest government shutdown in history, President Trump understandably would like to avoid another. In addition, healthcare debates are expected to dominate 2026, and Hyde Amendment language is always a sticking point in every healthcare debate. Given the slim Republican majority in the House, made even smaller by the recent death of Congressman Doug LaMalfa, it makes sense to get in front of predictable political disputes. But in this case, President Trump seems to have miscalculated what’s negotiable and what isn’t, and in the process insulted the voting bloc arguably most responsible for both of his presidential campaign victories.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has responded to Trump’s statements by saying he will not allow taxpayer money to be used for abortion, and he is not alone. The reason this has been a red line issue for generations is because people care. Thankfully, not everything for everyone is negotiable, and no amount of encouragement to be “flexible” from the president will change that. While Trump may not understand the resolve, President “art of the deal” should be better at reading the room.

Assault on Religious Freedom

It never ends, as long as their are believers, the enemy will try to destroy the faith. Our fight for truth must not waver. My concern is why does someone working at a church need or want an abortion Below is an article from “Decision Magazine.” Rh

Appellate Court Hears Case of Church Forced to Provide Employee Abortion Coverage

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit heard oral arguments in Cedar Park Assembly of God of Kirkland v. Kuderer, a case involving a Washington church seeking a religious exemption from a law requiring the church to provide abortion coverage to employees.

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) defended Cedar Park Church in the Jan. 8 hearing, during which ADF Senior Counsel Rory Gray argued that the law violates the church’s free exercise of religion.

“The church’s religious belief is that it is facilitating abortion by covering it through the church’s plan. There is absolutely no argument otherwise that there would be no abortion coverage here but for Cedar Park seeking out an insurer, negotiating the terms and signing a contract,” Gray said during the hearing.

The Kirkland, Washington, church provided an abortion-free health plan for church employees, but in March 2018, Democrat Gov. Jay Inslee signed Senate Bill 6219 into law, which requires employers offering maternity care coverage to also provide abortion coverage. Violators face fines and criminal penalties such as imprisonment.

Surgical abortion coverage was added to the church’s insurance carrier health plan, in compliance with state law.

The church, which believes all human life is valuable and should be protected from conception to natural death, has been fighting for an exemption for six years. In 2019, the church filed suit against Washington state officials, asking for an exemption from the mandate.

The complaint argues that the law imposes a substantial burden on Cedar Park’s religious exercises while coercing the church to violate its religious beliefs, since denying mothers’ maternity care violates their religious beliefs, and there are no other insurance options they qualify for that do not require abortion coverage.

“SB 6219 imposes a burden on Cedar Park’s ability to recruit and retain employees and places Cedar Park at a competitive disadvantage by creating uncertainty as to whether it will be able to offer group health insurance in the future,” the complaint reads.

The case has been volleyed back and forth between courts. A district court dismissed the case. The 9th Circuit then reversed the lower court’s dismissal, with the district court responding by ruling that the church’s free-exercise rights had not been violated by the enforcement. In November 2023, Cedar Park Church appealed again to the 9th Circuit, with a three-judge panel siding with the state in March 2025 before withdrawing its opinion four months later and scheduling a rehearing.

During the Jan. 8 rehearing, Gray argued that the mandate not only violates the Free Exercise Clause but is also not neutral and not generally applicable, treating some secular institutions differently than churches on the issue of exemptions.

“It’s unconscionable for the government to force any church to pay for abortions,” said Gray said in a press release. “The U.S. Supreme Court has affirmed that the government can’t compel religious organizations to act in violation of their sincerely held faith convictions. Cedar Park, which celebrates and protects life from conception to natural death, has fought long enough to practice what it preaches, and we are urging the court to finally resolve the matter and rule in favor of religious freedom.”

Why Are Democrats Consumed With Sex & Nudity

The question is a good one, why are democrats so in love with sex and nudity?  It seems that every protest the radical luciferians do is rooted in either taking their clothes off or flaunting an alternative lifestyle on national TV.  Trying to make the obscene normal.  Is it only a rebellion against traditional values, or is there a more deep seated impulse that comes into play.  I believe it is much more than just trying to shock, it is also an intimidation technique. Since normal humanity is repulsed by their activity, it lessens the pushback at the demonstrations.

When the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was not found as a constitutional right, off came the shirts of the so called feminist.  By the way, have you seen some of these chicks? No thank you.  Conservative chicks ok, but left wingers, not so much most look like men. They flaunt not only their desire to murder babies in the womb, but also express their hatred of normalcy and the decency laws of the land.  Take the recent attempt at a “No Kings” rally, nakedness and carnality was the rule of the day.  By the way “so called men.” I prefer the term soy boys who attempt to make their point by dressing down.  All the way to garter belts, g-strings, and penis costumes.  How does one take these malcontents seriously?  We don’t, but the mainstream media and the fellow democrats in Congress surely do.  In the next paragraph will tell you all you need to know about ½ of congress.

What’s up with the old hippies?  Old white liberals must all be bored to death or something.  Every protest you see them hobbling down the street trying to keep up. White liberal women are the worst, and of course their husbands, geez, they only show up to support them or they will not get any peace at home.  Or sex.  But then have you seen them?  They dress and act and look like men.

In my opinion, and I think I have the Word of the Lord to back me up, they are being used by demonic spirits to act out.  They are either oppressed or possessed by demons.  ”Oh  my, that is so harsh, you are so hateful.”  Exactly what the trans mafia has called me for years.  No, I stand on the Word of God who declares that type of behavior indecent and evil.  In fact Romans Chapter 1 called it an abomination.

Remember the Gadarene man who was possessed by a legion of demons?  He couldn’t keep his clothes on either or how about the demon in Acts 19:13-16 In Ephesus that jumped on seven brothers who attempted to cast out the demon.  They were ceremoniously attacked, prevailed against the brothers and left them screaming and running through the city naked.

Why oh why are obscenity laws not enforced.  Why do we let those who are completely void of common sense be allowed to act in such an immature and childish manner.  It seems that nakedness and sexual deviancy is the accepted form of protest in our country.   America has not only a mental health crisis, but an intense spiritual war on decency, culture and our American values. And in many cases they are one in the same.

A Preview Of What Is Coming: Mamdani Declares Open Season On Pro-Life Christians

My prayers go out to Christians in NYC, you didn’t vote for what is coming. Not at all surprised, after all he is a hate monger. Rh

A Preview Of What Is Coming: Mamdani Declares Open Season On Pro-Life Christians

The battle lines are being redrawn in America’s largest city.

New York’s mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani, has declared open war–not just on unborn life–but on the very people who dare to defend it.

In a stunning and chilling announcement, Mamdani vowed to shut down every pro-life pregnancy center in the city, branding them “fraudulent” and “fake clinics.” These are the same ministries that provide free ultrasounds, diapers, counseling, and hope to women in crisis–yet in his eyes, they are enemies of the state.

This is not merely a policy proposal; it’s an ideological purge.

And make no mistake: this is only the beginning.

The Left’s New Gospel: Abortion at All Costs

For years, pro-life centers have stood as a beacon of compassion amid a culture obsessed with death. They have helped women choose life, offering comfort instead of condemnation, support instead of shame. But to the radical left, that’s the greatest crime of all.

Mamdani’s words echo those of Planned Parenthood and NARAL–groups that poured money into his campaign. His agenda is crystal clear: punish anyone who refuses to worship at the altar of abortion.

He wants to make New York City the first major American city to effectively outlaw pro-life ministry. It’s not about “consumer protection.” It’s about crushing Christian conviction under the weight of government power.

We’ve seen this script before–in California, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C.–where faith-based clinics have been dragged into court for daring to offer women another choice. Courts have ruled again and again that such crackdowns violate the First Amendment. Yet the left presses on, emboldened by activists and politicians who see Christianity as the last obstacle to their revolution.

The Christian church has faced tyrants before. Rome tried to silence the early believers. Communism tried to crush the gospel behind iron walls. Today, secular socialism is trying to drive the light of life out of the modern city.

We cannot retreat.

We cannot go silent.

Pregnancy centers, pastors, and believers across the nation must prepare to stand firm–through lawsuits if necessary, through protests if required, and above all through prayer. We must remember that our cause is older than any government and stronger than any decree.

The pro-life movement is not political–it’s biblical.

The sanctity of life is not up for negotiation, and the church will not yield its calling to protect the least of these.

Mamdani’s rise is not an isolated event. It’s a symptom of America’s moral drift–a society choosing socialism over Scripture, government dependency over godly responsibility, and abortion over life itself.

But history reminds us: darkness always overplays its hand.

Every time evil rises, God raises up men and women of courage to resist it. The question now is whether Christians in New York–and across this nation–will answer that call. Copied in part from Prophecy News Watch

Our warfare is spiritual not in the natural. We must learn the art of intercession to combat evil and pull down the strongholds that are clearly demonic! We can have victory. We must know that prayer changes the heart and minds. Take authority and bind the spirit of death that permeates our society, and pray for a mighty move of God by His Spirit. It has started in our youth, but it is only a start. “Lord Jesus we bind every evil move of the enemy over America, we take authority over principalities and powers in Jesus name. Release your Holy Spirit to heal, and restore!!” Rh

Are We Better Today?

I wonder sometimes how you could be living at the time when the Nazi’s came into power, and not realize who they were or what they intended to do to the Jews.. We always want to condemn the German people, saying they should’ve spoken , they should’ve done something, why could they not find their Voice? The churches that had service near the railroad tracks were told to sing louder as the trains would go by taking the Jews to the concentration camps.  Trying to drown out the sounds of not only the trains, but the screams of the Jews who had been loaded into the trains like cattle for slaughter.  Are we any better today?

France, England, Australia, and Canada among other nations are promoting a two state solution in the nation of Israel. They are in effect backing a group of people that invaded a peaceful music festival and went on a killing spree, murdering and raping and taking captive innocent young people.  Hamas crossed the border on October 7th without any warning, like cowards in the middle of the night and without any warning.  And they cared not whether they were Jews or other nationalities, as long as they were there and on the land of Israel, then they were fair game to be murdered. You woke hippocritical countries spread lies about the Jews about those that live in Israel, are you not just as bad as those that kept their mouth shut when the Jews in Poland were sent to the gas chambers?  Are we any better today?

Even here in America, one of the most popular podcasts had a far right wing supremacist on his highly popular podcast. Tucker Carlson, who has joined the ranks of the antisemites, gave a platform to a known Jew hating extremist.  Nick Fuentes who speaks of his desire to drive “Zionist Jews,” out of American life. Fuentes is also a holocaust denier.”  Let’s not let Tucker off the hook either.  He calls Christians who support Israel,  like Senator Ted Cruz, Ambassador Huckleby and others, heretics.  Good old Qatarlson is always pushing the false narrative of the radical left and the woke right about Israel and the so-called “Palestinians.”  Young people especially are susceptible to Tucker’s lies and innuendos about Israel.  Even some churches and otherwise good Christians will swallow his lies. How can we,  a sane society fall for the lies of the haters of Israel.  We should know better, but we are deceived by the constant propaganda of the media and the left around the world.  Are we any better today?

On another note, we were shocked at the medical experiments the Nazi”s performed on the Jews and Gypsies.  But are we better off with our penchant for abortion up to and through birth?  Planned Parenthood sells aborted babies body parts, even profiting on that sale, making money on murder.  What of the Gender confusion?  Well known hospitals and doctors are cutting off body parts of healthy boys and girls so they could presumably change genders.  Mutilation and killing from a profession that is called to heal and do no harm.  Hippocratic oath anyone?  And beyond that expecting a society to celebrate what years ago would be called mental disease.  Are we any better today?

Political violence is on the rampage.  A huge section of the left says it is ok to violently protest and even do harm to conservatives.  The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk brought out the crazies.  Teachers, social media influencers and politicians were not even expressing sympathy for the loss of life.  Many even encouraged this type of insane action to those they disagree with.  What has become of us?  Who are we?  Are we any better today?

Let me be clear, I love America.  We are not a righteous nation, and neither is Israel.  (So don’t throw that argument at me.)  We need revival in this country as well as around the world.  The same devil and the same hatred is here today as in any other decade.  Prayer, confession and repentance is the only way to ensure our safety and further prosperity.  Pray for the United States of America to regain its moral compass.  Our foundations need to be restored.  Sin is sin.  Are we any better today?  No

Just my opinion.  Maranatha!

Eight Babies From Tim Walz’s State “Were Left to Die” After They Survived Abortions

National  |  Joshua Mercer  |

During Tuesday night’s presidential debate, ABC’s Linsey Davis “fact-checked” former President Donald Trump’s comments regarding children who survive abortions.

A chorus of journalists immediately questioned Davis’ “correction” of Trump, expressing that the Republican nominee made a valid point about some states’ pro-abortion policies.

Davis, who co-moderated the debate alongside her ABC colleague David Muir, claimed: “There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it’s born.”

The moderator made the claim after Trump answered her question regarding his stance on abortion.

In Trump’s answer, he said that the Democrats take a “radical” position on the issue, adding: “They have abortion in the ninth month.”

Trump had also referred to a 2019 interview of then-Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, a Democrat, who said that a “discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother” if a baby was born alive following a failed late-term abortion. Trump initially incorrectly referred to Northam as the former governor of West Virginia.

Minutes after Davis attempted to debunk Trump’s response, the Media Research Center took to X (formerly Twitter) with a “fact check” of its own.

“Babies are regularly murdered after they are born in botched abortions,” wrote the watchdog group.

The Daily Signal’s Mary Margaret Olohan wrote in an article last month, “data from the Minnesota Department of Health shows that at least eight babies who survived abortions” in Minnesota “were left to die.”

Signal Managing Editor Tyler O’Neil posted a link to Olohan’s piece on X shortly after Davis’ “fact check” at the debate.

Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz has been the Governor of Minnesota since 2019.

“Under a 2015 Minnesota law, the state formerly was required to report whether abortions resulted in the live birth of a baby, what actions were taken to preserve the life of that baby, and whether the baby survived,” Olohan continued:

Those reporting requirements exposed that between Jan. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2021, physicians performed five abortions that resulted in a baby’s live birth.

No measures were taken to help the first baby, who reportedly had “fetal anomalies” that resulted “in death shortly after delivery.” Two of the babies were given “comfort care measures” as they died. No measures were taken to “preserve life” of the last two babies, who were previable.

Previous data from the Minnesota Department of Health reveals that physicians have been leaving babies to die after failed abortions for years.

“Not true, ABC News,” wrote Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins on X Wednesday afternoon, responding to Davis’ “fact check.”

“In 12 states, children born alive after a failed abortion have no legal protection, and in three more states children born alive after an abortion had legal rights that governors—like Tim Walz—repealed,” Perkins wrote, citing the FRC’s data.

“Medical personnel have testified of babies being left to die or gruesomely killed after being born alive following a failed abortion,” he added.

Perkins posted a map to X showing each state’s level of protection for babies born alive following failed abortions. The map is also available on the FRC website.

Compact Magazine founder and editor Matthew Schmitz wrote on X Wednesday: “In 2022, years before Tim Walz emerged on the national scene, I pointed out that babies who survived abortion procedures were being left to die in Minnesota.”

Schmitz referred to a July 2022 post by pro-life journalist Micaiah Bilger.

In the post, Bilger enclosed what Schmitz referred to as a screenshot from the Walz administration’s Minnesota Department of Health.

“FIVE babies were born alive in abortions and left to die in Minnesota in 2021,” Bilger wrote, underlining nearly identical language in the screenshot. “FIVE – in one state!”

As always the democratic party is the party of death! They love to destroy lives from abortion to trans surgeries which destroys the mental and physical lives of trans people. If we don’t return to God, He will surely judge America. Rh
