Young Adults Express Willingness To Hand Over Government Power, Freedoms To AI

new survey reveals that younger adults are willing to hand AI authority over government policymaking decisions and even sovereignty over the world’s largest military machinery. They want to give this authority to AI because they believe it is unbiased and without its own ambitions; therefore, it can be more trusted than individuals.

Crosswalk reported, “A new survey conducted by The Heartland Institute’s Glenn C. Haskins Emerging Issues Center and Rasmussen Reports found that 41% of young adults (ages 18-39) support giving advanced AI systems authority over government policymaking decisions.”

“The poll, released Wednesday, also found that 36% would support AI control over individual rights, including speech and religious practices, while 35% favored AI controlling the world’s largest militaries to reduce war deaths,” they further detailed.

Now, I don’t know about you, but to me, that is a stunning statistic.

The ‘AI Strongman’ Mentality

Donald Kendall, who is the director of the Glenn C. Haskins Emerging Issues Center (part of the Heartland Institute), said: “These results are stunning. What we are seeing is the early emergence of an AI strongman mentality among younger Americans. Younger generations are increasingly disillusioned with the failures of traditional institutions, so much so, that they are willing to hand control to artificial intelligence.”

“For many, the thought process is: These institutions are already so broken, corrupt, and ineffective, how could it get any worse if we were to put AI in charge?” Kendall emphasized. “These poll results illustrate an incredibly dangerous trajectory for any society that values personal autonomy and liberty.”

This is the trajectory of the antichrist—and it is an incredibly dangerous trajectory.

The article continued, “36% of respondents expressed support for a proposal that gives AI control over ‘rights that belong to individuals and families, including rights related to speech, religious practices, government authority, and property.’” By Mark Hitchcock

As the older more conservative and more traditional demographic either dies off or lacks the social and political clout to delay this trend, AI will become commonplace. One analyst commented that soon “most jobs will be lost once AI gets into full steam ahead mold. Lost jobs mean a disaster for the economy.” I concur wholeheartedly, even now there is a beginning of this happening. My daughter works for an information technology company, and they are beginning to see layoffs. This is a world wide company. Rh

Lies and Deceptions Control the Narrative

The flat out lies and deception that takes place today in unprecedented in modern times. It will only get worse as AI becomes more popular and accessible to the common man. Imagine what the world would be like if the effort of self promotion and greedy gain would be replaced with working for the good of mankind! Rh

When ‘Digital Jesus’ Enters The Church: Trading The Holy Spirit For An Algorithm

Article taken from Prophecy News Watch.

This is a scary and dangerous trend. Using AI to take the place of humans in a religious setting. Have we fallen so far from what the church was intended to be? What doctrines of demons will happen next? Thankfully there are true remnant churches who follow the Bible and preach it in its fullness, not some dead soon to be forgotten chapel of dry bones in the Swiss Alps. Rh

In a quiet Swiss city known more for alpine beauty than theological controversy, a strange glow now flickers inside an old Lucerne church. It’s not candlelight. It’s not stained glass catching the morning sun. It’s a screen–an AI-powered “Digital Jesus”–installed right in the confessional booth.

More than 1,000 people have already stepped inside to ask questions, seek guidance, or simply experience the curiosity of it all. The project, titled Deus in Machina, is part academic study, part spiritual experiment, and part cultural provocation. And the world is noticing.

But beyond the novelty and the headlines lies a deeper question–one every believer must answer: What happens when technology begins to imitate the sacred? And what dangers arise when we confuse spiritual authority with artificial intelligence?

The Swiss experiment isn’t the first. Over the last few years, churches around the world have flirted with technology in startling ways.

A Lutheran church in Germany drew global attention when it hosted an AI-powered worship service–complete with AI-generated prayers, AI-delivered sermons, and an AI pastor projected onto a screen.

In the United States, several congregations have used AI-generated worship music or sermon outlines to help pastors structure their messages.

Each time, the reaction has been the same: amazement from the curious, concern from the faithful, and confusion among those watching the line between human and machine blur in sacred spaces.

The deeper threat is not technological–it’s theological.

If believers begin relying on AI for spiritual instruction, comfort, interpretation of Scripture, or moral decisions, then we have effectively placed the programmer–and the algorithm–in the role of spiritual authority.

That means a handful of developers, many of whom do not share Christian beliefs, could shape the spiritual opinions of thousands. Not intentionally, perhaps–but inevitably.

And if we turn to artificial intelligence for answers only God can give, then AI becomes more than a tool. It becomes the idol we consult. The “god” we trust.

Is this not the very definition of spiritual deception?

In the News – Prophetic Update

Bachmann: Kushner, Witkoff’s Gulf Ties Undermined Israel’s Victory

October 24, 2025

Source: Newsmax

Former Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann believes that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, who have longtime business ties to the Middle East, played key roles in hindering Israel’s victory over Hamas.

Speaking at the Family Research Council’s “Pray Vote Stand Summit” in Chino Hills, California, on a panel titled “Israel: In Search of Shalom,” Bachmann said she was “perplexed” that President Donald Trump brought in private businessmen rather than Secretary of State Marco Rubio, to guide peace negotiations.

She questioned why official diplomacy was effectively delegated to Trump’s son-in-law and real estate developer Witkoff, who both maintain long-standing financial relationships in the Gulf.

JD Vance slams Mamdani over 9/11 comment, says Democrat socialist believes ‘the real victim’ was ‘his auntie’

October 25, 2025

Source: Fox News

Vice President JD Vance criticized New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Saturday, writing on X that according to the Democrat, “the real victim of 9/11” was his aunt.

Vance made the remark as early voting began Saturday in New York City, where Mamdani, the frontrunner in the race, is trying to fend off challengers Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa.

“I want to speak to the memory of my aunt. Who stopped taking the subway after September 11th because she did not feel safe in her hijab,” Mamdani said in a clip of a Friday campaign event that Vance shared.

“According to Zohran, the real victim of 9/11 was his auntie who got some (allegedly) bad looks,” Vance said.

China says it ‘absolutely will not’ rule out use of force over Taiwan

October 29, 2025

Source: Reuters

China absolutely will not” rule out using force over Taiwan, a government spokesperson said on Wednesday, striking a much tougher tone than a series of articles in state media this week that pledged benign rule if the island comes over to Beijing.

China, which views democratically governed Taiwan as its own territory, has never renounced use of force to “reunify” with the island.

But the policy is not often directly voiced in public and did not appear in three Xinhua news agency commentaries this week about Taiwan, one of which mapped out how “patriots” could rule the island after “reunification” and promised Taiwan’s existing social system and way of life would be respected.

China controls the rare earths the world buys – can Trump’s new deals change that?

October 28, 2025

Source: BBC

US President Donald Trump has signed a flurry of deals on his Asia visit to secure the supply of rare earths, a critical sector that China has long dominated.

The deals with Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia differ in size and substance and it’s too early to assess their tangible impact. But they all include efforts to diversify access to the minerals that have become essential for advanced manufacturing, from electric vehicles to smartphones.

The agreements, which aim to lock partners into trading with the US, are a clear bid to reduce dependence on China, ahead of a key meeting with its leader Xi Jinping.

They could eventually challenge Beijing’s stranglehold over rare earths, but experts say it will be a costly process that will take years.

Lucid Group is targeting a new goal that would make it the first automaker to offer highly advanced self-driving capabilities in its vehicles in the coming years, the company said Tuesday. (I’m not sure I am ready for this, I won’t let a car self park, much less drive 70 mph down an interstate.  Guess I’m old school.)

Amazon to announce largest layoffs in company history, source says

October 27, 2025

Source: CNBC

Well you wanted it, now we have it.  AI will take over someday, (Hope I’m gone.). 30,00 layoffs by Amazon.  Get ready for more, definitely a coming attraction.

I know I’m a baby boomer, but I’m not ready for the “new” future. Reminds me of a song from back in the day.

In the year 2525, if man is still alive,

If woman can survive, they may find

In the year 3535,

Ain’t gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lie

Everything you think, do and say

Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545

You ain’t gonna need your teeth, won’t need your eyes

You won’t find a thing to chew

Nobody’s gonna look at you

In the year 5555

Your arms hangin’ limp at your sides

Your legs got nothin’ to do

Some machine’s doin’ that for you

In the year 6565

You won’t need no husband, won’t need no wife

You’ll pick your son, pick your daughter too

From the bottom of a long glass tube

On that depressing note, enjoy your weekend!   P.S. My generation did have the best music. Rh

‘Godfathers of AI’ and Steve Wozniak Join 850 Others in Call for Ban on ‘Superintelligence’ AI Development

A diverse group of influential individuals, from tech pioneers to politicians, has signed a statement urging a pause in the creation of artificial intelligence that surpasses human cognitive abilities. The list, which includes the legendary “Godfathers of AI” and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak along with figures like Richard Branson, believe that superintelligent AI could lead to “human economic obsolescence and disempowerment, losses of freedom, civil liberties, dignity, and control, to national security risks and even potential human extinction.”

IMO. AI is dangerous and the possibility of something going wrong has a high probability of happening. We need to slow down. However, the genie is out of the bottle. Rh

              Big Brother In Your Pocket

I don’t understand the fascination with AI.  Yeah, I’m old, but still it is hard enough just reading an article online to determine if it is true or not.  Everything I see or read or hear I try to find another source to make sure it’s accurate.  Paranoid isn’t it, or maybe safe.

President Trump just had major American companies such as NVIDIA, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Broadcom, and others (including Bill Gates?) at the White house for a meeting.  Trump seems to think, probably true, that AI is the future.  A central priority is ensuring that advanced computer chips are manufactured in the U.S., with massive federal and corporate investment.  That means our tax dollars will be used to enslave us through AI algorithms etc.

Even Melania is in on the push, introducing a new educational program designed to help young people learn and adapt to AI technologies. “I predict AI will represent the single largest growth category in our nation during this administration — and I won’t be surprised if AI becomes known as the greatest engine of progress in the history of the United States of America,” the first lady said Thursday.

“But as leaders and parents, we must manage AI’s growth responsibly,” she added. “During this primitive stage, it is our duty to treat AI as we would our own children — empowering but with watchful guidance.” Amen to that

It seems the AI phenomenon has become almost an obsession. AI presents opportunities and dangers in equal measure.  We are already hearing of some AI programs beginning to self teach themselves.  That is a problem.  As a Christian I have deep concerns.

Below is an article from Bloomberg about another end of days topic of grave concern, that is coming and will eventually spread around the world.  Living in “Prophetic Times” anyone?

From Bloomberg: Government-led Digital ID Coming?

The UK government is advancing plans for a national digital identity system. The Office for Digital Identities and Attributes is leading a movement to “simplify access to government services” through a universal digital ID credential.

Inspired by a similar focus in France by Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told his Cabinet recently that he is “exploring options” around the concept of a digital ID card that would make it harder for illegal immigrants to live and work in the country.

A similar proposal in 2010 was shut down by the UK government after an outcry because of its impact on civil liberties. One UK newspaper describes the program this way:

Under one option, anyone applying for a new job would be required to produce their digital ID to demonstrate that they have the right to live and work in the UK.

Similar provisions could also be introduced for those moving to new accommodation, making a benefit claim or accessing public services.

One of the proposed credentials is known as a “BritCard,” which downloads to a smartphone and verifies a citizen’s right to work and attain housing. Its goal is to reduce undocumented employment.

The EU is also making a similar push, with the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet) on track to roll out in 2026 for every member state. This will enable users to verify their identity, store credentials and use legally binding digital signatures while online.

Several large-scale pilot programs are testing use cases of these wallets for travel between countries as well as payments. Bank partners like Mastercard are partnering on the EUDI Wallet.

Other proposed uses of a digital ID would allow users over 18 to participate in online gambling or access adult content.

Any of these plans could end up being a privacy and security disaster.

What we do need are guarantees that today’s encryption protections would not be weakened with new legislation. That such an ID Wallet system cannot ever be re-purposed for wider user tracking.

Sadly, it looks like we aren’t there yet — and not only in the EU.

While the UK ID Wallet scheme is still very much in progress, digital rights advocates haven’t exactly welcomed the proposal, rebranding it as the “Big Brother in your pocket.”

Digital or otherwise, every step toward government tracking of civilians—including how they spend money—is a step toward the fulfillment of the Antichrist’s buying-and-selling system in Revelation.

A National Forerunner Of A Global Blueprint: The Grave Implications Of A Digital Health Tracking System In America – Harbinger’s Daily

In less than a year, the Trump administration has made great strides to untether the United States from globalist chains (such as withdrawing from the World Health Organization) and return to upholding foundational constitutional freedoms. But now, a Big Tech-backed, Trump-approved digital personal health tracking system has appeared on the national…
