- Budget deficit down 26% from last year
- 4 trillion: 3.3 trillion of tariff income,700 billion lower interest cost, expect number to go up
(IMO) Brief bullet point synopsis of Trump’s cabinet meeting. Things are looking up but lots more to do. Still very concerned with spending, congress and DJT MUST get control over the budget. My thought would be to freeze spending now, and look for cuts of 10% next year. Some say it can’t be done, well look at what we saw DOGE do with just wasteful spending. And there is much more out there.
Next up (IMO) Congress must enact and codify Trump’s executive orders and make sure his program goes forward! Thune do you and Speaker Johnson hear me. Let’s start calling both immediately and express our dismay at their lethargic attitude. It is downright obstruction. Call them!
