Why In-Person Schooling Would Be One of the Safest Activities to Reopen

Most students around the country haven’t been to school since March, when large parts of the country began to lock down in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the data increasingly suggests that reopening schools entails the least risks and should be a goal of every level of government.
The early hope was that the closures would be temporary, such as Michigan’s school-closure order that was originally meant to end in April—but that was extended for the rest of the school year.
Now, with the 2020-2021 school year fast approaching, what do we do about schools?

School closures have been a particular burden on families during the pandemic, but new information increasingly shows that school-age children are at the lowest risk of mortality, of severe disease, and possibly of even contracting the virus.
Reopening the schools may be one of the safest activities the nation can restart with tremendous benefit for Americans, and governments should make it their goal to do so.
There are several studies that suggest children are less likely to be infected by the virus. A pediatric organization, Don’t Forget the Bubbles, compiled some of those and found that children were consistently less likely than adults to contract the virus.
For instance, a study from Japan found that the COVID-19 attack rate among those younger than 20—that is to say, the rate at which those exposed become infected—was 5.5%.
Compare that to the attack rate among adults ages 50 to 59, which was 22.1%. The relative risk of children contracting the disease after an exposure was about one-fourth that of adults ages 50 to 59.
FBI Director: China is greatest threat to the US
“China is engaged in a whole-of-state effort to become the world’s only superpower by any means necessary,” FBI Director Christopher Wray warned in a lecture in Washington on Tuesday. He outlined those means as “a far-reaching campaign of economic espionage, data and monetary theft and illegal political activities, using bribery and blackmail to influence US policy.” Wray added: We’ve reached a point where the FBI is now opening a new China-related counterintelligence case ever 10 hours.” The FBI chief accused Chinese President Xi Jinping of initiating a program called “Fox Hunt” to force Chinese expats to return home.
With the NBA virtually bowing down and kissing the boots of China, makes you wonder what is going on? LeBron James is so pro China he has to be getting paid. China is in a much better position to wreck havoc on our elections than Russia or Ukraine. Wonder why Biden and the rest of D.C. seems oblivious to the threat? For a second month in a row, the U.S. economy gained a record number of jobs.
Following job gains of 2.7 million in May, the economy added 4.8 million more jobs in June.
And even as the labor force grew by 1.7 million workers, the unemployment rate fell by 2.2 percentage points, from 13.3% to 11.1%.
While unemployment is still high, the faster-than-expected turnaround and record gains show the resiliency of the American economy and prove that this is not another Great Recession.
True Patriots
Where are the true Patriots in this country? You know the ones I’m talking about, they bleed red, white, and blue. They stand for what is right regardless of the consequences. Our founding fathers fought a war of independence against insurmountable odds, many in their 20’s and early 30’s, and we have members of Congress that have been serving for decades with no change and no voice for the True Patriot that fights every day for the good of this country. I look for a true moral conservative voice to ring out and call out the demigods of the radical left. Take no prisoners, speak the truth, stand for what is right and defend the Constitution. Now is not the time to compromise our convictions to make a few friends on the D.C. party circuit! Oh we have some that are ringing their hands, clutching their pearls and sweating bullets trying to decide what to do. Let me tell you what to do.

- Stand for the values that made America strong and a leader in the world.
- Speak up for the Constitution
- Back this President 100%.
- Listen to your constituents.
Stop the violence, call out the troops, restore order. Remember your oath of office, “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic.”

Supreme Court Rules In Favor of Religious Schools, Says Aid Bans Are Unconstitutional
The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision on Tuesday morning that Montana’s ban on religious schools receiving state aid — specifically scholarship funds — is illegal and that it’s unconstitutional for states to exclude religious schools from such programs.

Pastor Scott On Calls To Reduce Police Presence: Criminals ‘would enjoy nothing better’
Pastor Darrell Scott, founder of the New Spirit Revival Center and author of the book “Nothing to Lose,” testified Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee’s hearing on police reform in the wake of George Floyd’s tragic death. During his opening statement, Scott made very clear to committee members that calls to defund the police amid nationwide anger and protests aren’t the solution to a problem of bad policing that he says rests in a small portion of “rogue” cops.
“I want to begin by stating that the prospect of defunding and, or dismantling police forces across the country is one of the most unwise, irresponsible proposals by American politicians in our nation’s history,” Pastor Scott said. “And makes absolutely no sense at all at least to me.”
“I believe it is nothing short of the politicizing of current social events and an effort to garner votes during this election season. I also believe that it’s a reactionary measure that can and will result in short and longterm damage to American society, particularly in our inner city and urban communities.”
