Israel Seeks Defense Independence

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently committed Israel to a 350 billion-shekel ($110 billion) investment over the next decade to boost independence in critical arms production.

The announcement, detailed during a meeting of defense chiefs at Shin Bet headquarters on Dec. 25, came one day after the prime minister, at an Israeli Air Force graduation ceremony, stated that he had approved, along with the defense minister and finance minister, a sum of 350 billion shekels “over the next decade to build an independent Israeli munitions industry. We want to reduce the dependency on any party, including allies.”

This is a great move for Israel, Netanyahu has also stated earlier that the alliance with America is good, but waiting on approval like a vessel state is not what Israel needs in today’s world. I remember the slow walk by the Biden Administration in delivery of weapons that had already been bought by the IDF. Even now with a friendly President in the White House it seems that Israel is like a beggar on a street corner at times. Recently Israel shipped defense weaponry to Germany, also a gas deal with Egypt was also worked out between the two nations. Good for Israel.

Israel is surrounded by enemies in the Middle East and Northern Africa. If you look at a map Israel is the tiny dot in the middle of Islamist who have sworn to destroy them. My fear is that America is turning from its hard commitment of Israel to a more neutral position. That my friends is not good for the US.

Only a nation blessed by Almighty God could find itself capability to repeal a sneak attack and wars on all fronts and come back, in many cases stronger than before. The Bible clearly states that the Jews will come home and make the desert blossom as a rose. It surely has.

As with my nation, I don’t agree with everything that they do, but for Israel and the US this friendship is in our best interest as well as theirs. We may give them aid, but it comes back in investments in our military complex and even more importantly in intelligence from a very fragile and complex region.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! Rh

Israel’s economic boom

By Jim Fletcher

December 18, 2025

Benjamin Netanyahu just announced a $112 billion gas deal with Egypt. In thelast 15 years, the   state has discovered vast gas and oil reserves in the Mediterranean. Remember how Israel was often almost mocked for not having any real natural resources, especially in contrast to her Middle East neighbors?

Those days are over.

Amid all the war and talk of war and security—topics that dominate the news cycle regarding Israel—the economy of the state of Israel is experiencing growth so incredible, one wonders if in fact there might be some sort of temporary cessation of hostilities between Israel and most of the Middle East.

Now comes word of another financial win.

Nvidia, the world’s leader in artificial intelligence computing (worth $4.3 trillion) is planning a campus in northern Israel, to be fully occupied by 2031. For up to 10,000 employees, the new site will be built on 22 acres. All these plans are being developed from the company’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California.

The multi-billion-dollar investment will turbo-charge Israel’s economy. Of course, the country is already a tech leader in innovation. The capabilities and potential ofIsraeli tech firms is already  legendary.

All Israel News reported some of the potential:

“Nvidia’s senior vice president of marketing Gilad Shainer assessed at the time that artificial intelligence is the ‘most important technology of our lifetime.’

“’Generative AI is going everywhere nowadays. You need to be able to run training on large datasets,’ Shainer said in an interview with Reuters. The Israeli-based AI computer currently ranks 34th among the world’s top 500 supercomputers.”

Perhaps most astonishing is the fact that “Nvidia’s Israeli workforce currently constitutes some 15% of the tech giant’s total global workforce.”

Incredible!

And, as an extra example that God is actually guiding things, as the Bible tells us He does, the Gaza War was thought to endanger Israel’s economy. Instead, Israel’s tech sector is strong, attracting international groups like Nvidia. What Hamas meant for evil, God meant for good.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made it clear he intends to continue investing in Israel and is not deterred by the military threats.

“’The thing I showcased, which is the heart and soul of the Blackwell processor, came from Israel. And so, we will continue to invest heavily in Israel. This entire region is very important to me,’ Huang stated last year.”

The more than 3,000 Israeli employees are reinforced by another 100 in Judea-Samaria, and even Gaza itself.

When you consider this type of economic juggernaut against a backdrop of war, it becomes clear that the Nvidia story is almost hidden from the public. And it should also impress President Donald Trump, whose now uneven relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu causes some to worry about U.S.-Israel relations going forward. So again, are we seeing an economic paradise that might even overcome the jihadists for a time? After all, the Abraham Accords are a cornerstone of Trump’s belief that economic advances can blunt 7th century warmongering.

Now, I don’t mean to suggest that all these things will overcome the haters. We know from Scripture that Gog-Magog will erupt in a climate of at least relative safety for Israel. And you can be sure the Abraham Accords are not built on anything but economic expediency. But we can speculate fairly accurately that Israel’s tech and energy successes will flourish for a time. After all, Gog comes to “take a spoil” and Israel has an economy that would spoil anyone.

Since 9/11, there have been 65,000 Islamic terrorist attacks across the globe. Satan’s army seeks to destroy. We should however welcome any respite from this kind of evil.

That’s a chore, however.

This past week, I spent a half-day listening to and transcribing Tucker Carlson’s Dec. 10th podcast, “Our Closest Ally,” in which the now-Israel-hating commentator made the absurd claim that Qatar is a more viable alliance for the U.S. than Israel. In fact, speaking of the famed Israel-U.S. alliance, Carlson made this chilling remark: “There’s no reason for it to stay that way forever.”

My goodness, that sounds like a threat. And it plays of course right into such prophecies as Jeremiah 30:14. There, we see that one day, Israel will literally wind up alone. Carlson might thirst for the end of Israel, but even he can’t erase Israel’s value to the international community for the time being.

Let’s pray that Israel’s marvelous economy will continue to be a bulwark against those that seek Israel’s destruction.

Although we have to be very careful about making specific predictions, let us at least hope that this good news from Israel will make the Jewish state an indispensable actor in today’s world for some time to come.

God is blessing Israel, who are trying to protect their ancient land from those who wish to destroy them. The Bible tells us the land of Israel shall blossom like a rose in the last days. Rh

Prophetic Update

“This is a week that many evangelical and biblically-aligned observers would say would make the anti-christ proud — not because Trump is the anti-christ, but because the sequence of events aligns with patterns of global consolidation and international control over Israel’s future.”  William Koenig

This was a horrible week for Israel.  President Trump has done everything he could to cozy up to radical Islam from pushing through a vote in the UN for Arab and Muslim Security Force in Gaza, to a full blown coronation of the Saudi Crown Prince, and ending with a meeting with a well known radical anti-Semite just elected mayor of New York.

The UN Security Council gave Trump  the votes for an International Security Force to keep peace in Gaza.  That is like having the proverbial fox oversee the chicken coop.  Having radical Islamist keep peace in Gaza that in part funded Hamas?  Phase 1, return all hostages, Phase 2 disarm, not done so let’s skip to a peacekeeping force.  That should work out ok. What was Einstein’s definition of insanity?

Almost a coronation of MBS, crown prince of Saudi Arabia.  Saudi Arabia gets F-35 jets, our best and latest fighter jet, (horrible Idea) and we get up to a Trillion dollars of investments.  Nothing was signed yet.  Saudi Arabia may join, which Trump is praying for, the Abraham Accords.  MBS wants a definite path to a two state solution.  Joel 3:2, God says he will judge any nation that divides the covenant land of Israel.  Again, a horrible idea. Once more treating Israel as a vassal state.

Maybe the most incredulous idea, that is borderline stupidity, welcoming Mamdani after his statement of jailing Netanyahu, disbanding the police, and his general hatred of America.  Full blown Islamic socialist who appointed a radical female pro Palestinian to replace himself in the New York Legislature.  Her degree is in Palestinian Liberation.  Mamdani is doubling down on his radical ideology and he gets a visit to the White House? Trump says “he is not a jihadist”.  That’s comforting.

Each point could be expanded upon and maybe in the future I will, but suffice to say this has been a horrible week for America and especially for Israel.  They are a friendly sovereign nation, not a vassal state of the US.  Let’s not forget that Trump brazenly told them no “annexation of Judea & Samaria” , their Biblical homeland, because Trump already told the Arabs that Israel wouldn’t do it.

Look, I voted for Trump three times, but I have to be true to my integrity. I will call out bad policy when I see it.  Current events in light of Bible Prophecy, this has been a week the UN and the one worlders of global governance loved.  Trump has made bad decisions, hopefully Israel and cooler heads will prevail, but the cat is out of the bag.  Again this has been tried before, especially the two state solution, (Clinton’s Oslo Accords) has been tried and failed miserably. In effect the Palestinians have had a state called Gaza from which they executed a failed, but deadly attack that brings us to where we are now.  They don’t want a state, they want to destroy Israel, along with most of the Middle East.

Einstein’s definition of ignorance, “doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.”  Age-old hatred and mistrust dominate the key players in the Middle East.  The smart thing would be to “dance with the one who brought you,” (old country song).  That my friends would be Israel. Buckle your seat belts this could be a bumpy ride. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalms 122:6 Rh

No One Wants the Palestinians

Palestine was Jordan and Israel

Jordan controlled the West Bank until 1967 and no asked them for a Palestinian state.

Egypt controlled Gaza until 1967 and no one asked them for a Palestinian state.

When Egypt signed the peace treat with Israel , they said they wanted Sinai back but keep the Gaza.

Even now Egypt has closed its borders to the plight of the Palestinians.

In fact no Arab or Islamic country in the Middle East has any desire to take in or give up land for the Palestinians. Wonder why?

This whole desire to take land from Israel for the Palestinians, it nothing more than a power grab to take land away from Israel to weaken and eventually dissolve the ancient land of Israel. God gave the land to them as an eternal covenant. In fact God said as long as the sun rises and the moon shines I will not forget my covenant with Israel. Do until the world stands, enemies of Israel deal with it! Israel will never leave or lose their land. Take it to the bank.

The Hebrew word Hamas, means violence. According to the Hebrew lexicon, the Arabic cognate of the Hebrew word hamas means warlike valor (noun form) or to be active, brave, constant (verb form).

Peace will never be established between Israel and its Muslim neighbors until the Prince of Peace arrives at the end of the tribulation period. Try as diplomats will, it will never happen. Biblical prophecy attests to this fact.

Kosovo & Serbia Set to Move Embassies to Jerusalem

Following the historic agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kosovo has announced the normalization of ties with Israel; Both Kosovo and Serbia are set to move their embassies to Jerusalem.

As of Friday, both Kosovo & Serbia announced their intentions to move their embassies to Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. Furthermore, on Friday, Kosovo announced that it will be normalizing its diplomatic ties with Israel. This is significant as Kosovo is a Muslim-majority country, and the first of such to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

After the announcement, President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi took to Twitter stating, “I welcome the announcement of Israeli PM @netanyahu about the genuine intention to recognize #Kosovo and establish diplomatic relations. Kosovo will keep its promise to place its diplomatic mission in #Jerusalem.”

Following the news, US President Trump also tweeted, “Another great day for peace with the Middle East – Muslim-majority Kosovo and Israel have agreed to normalize ties and establish diplomatic relations. Well-done! More Islamic and Arab nations will follow soon!”

Kosovo’s decision follows the recent move by the UAE to normalize diplomatic ties with the Jewish State. And given the recent trip by US officials to the Middle East and what we’ve now witnessed with Kosovo and Serbia, it’s likely that more countries are soon to follow.September 5th, 2020|News copied from BeholdIsrael.org

Beirut

Massive explosion rocks Beirut, eyewitness says

By Susan Katz Keating

massive explosion rocked Beirut on Tuesday, an eyewitness told Just the News moments after the incident occurred.

The explosion appears to have occurred near Lebanon’s port and has resulted in injuries and widespread damage, according to multiple report.

However, it remain unclear whether the explosion was an accident or an attack.

The afternoon blast shook several parts of the Lebanon capital and residents reported windows being blown out.

The Just the News eyewitness said the incident “looks like a major attack with casualties.”

The Jerusalem Post first reported the explosion, followed by a tall plume of smoke that could be seen from a distance.

The eyewitness being interviewed by phone by Just the News was talking about Middle East security when the explosion was heard.

Israel Prepares for Imminent Military Confrontation with Hezbollah Amid Growing Tension in the North

Amid the growing tension between Israel and the Lebanon-based, Iran-sponsored terror proxy known as Hezbollah, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are reinforcing their northern border at a significant rate. The tension between the two increased dramatically last week after Israel killed a member of Hezbollah during an airstrike in Damascus.
