Sanctuary or “Holy Place”

As I was reading in Ezekiel this morning I came to a powerful insight for us today. Ezek.11:16 talks about how God is dispersing Israel because of their sin and apostacy. But in the midst of that God tells them in v.16 that when they are driven out of Jerusalem, and scattered “He will be a little sanctuary (Holy Place) for them in the countries where they have gone”.

Powerful, even under the judgement of God, which I believe America is under at the present time, God always tempers with grace. Grace is divine favor or getting what we DON’T deserve! What a beautiful picture of the everlasting love of God.

If you are in a tough place this is not the time to give up. Reach out to the Lord, He is only a whispered prayer away. Rh

Don’t Make Me Come Down There

Dolly Parton’s new song issues staunch to believers. Dolly composed a song called “Don’t Make Me Come Down There” after having a dream about God. He was standing on a mountain top, looking down on us and in my dream I heard Him say, ‘Don’t make Me have to come down there. My children, you had best beware. If you don’t pay attention, consequences will be dire. Don’t make Me have to come down there.’”

For those of us who have been in church their whole life, the state of the church is really not good. Yes we have some great churches, but on the other hand many are nothing more than country clubs. The state of America is the fault of the church as it has tried to be relevant and not the body of Christ. Anyone is welcome in our churches, but just don’t stay the way you come. Preach repentance and transformation. It’s time to awaken a sleeping giant to transform themselves into the Army of God to battle the evil that is permeating America. God needs a warring church, not the Laodicean Church..

Contending for the Faith. Part 2

The most important thing is to preach Jesus, and the second most important thing is to preserve the most important thing.

That is why I get involved in politics. The Church has been silent too long in allowing the degradation of society. Pastor if you’re not preaching about a Biblical Worldview or preaching on Biblical values you are missing a chance to change society. Do you preach on Pro Life Sunday? Did you know there was a pro life Sunday? What about voter registration Sunday? Did you know there is a big push to legalize drugs? How about speaking out to stop sex trafficking or gender confusion? Yeah I know stop being negative. It’s not negative, when we as the collective church have not been proactive in social issues.

We have been really good at getting people “saved”, but what about discipleship. If we are to be world changers, then what about impacting our world with Biblical morality?

39% of Evangelical Pastors Reject absolute moral truth

69% Agree life is sacred

37% say having a faith is more important than what your faith is

51% of adult Christians claim a Biblical Worldview

It’s time we as the Ekklesia of God should be the leading force to transform this wicked world. Be a world changer. Live on the edge of societal revolution, because we know Truth by name, His name is Jesus!

Pray for Revival!

Revival & Restoration

America is in desperate straits. I have stated many times that we have fallen so far we could never recover in our own strength and with our human efforts. Only a true revival and reformation will save us. America the Beautiful still describes us on the outside. Internally, however, we are ravaged by spiritual death, societal disease, and moral decay. Like Canaan in ancient times, we have become a stronghold of giants.

Contending for the Faith Part 1

Commentary writer Matthew Henry said “a traitor inside the church is worse than a thousand outside the church.” Many times those of us who strictly contend for the faith are looked upon as hard liners or too conservative, but in society today fundamental truth needs to be shouted from the rooftops. When so called Pastors deny any part of the Bible as the word of God, or try to minimize or throw away what God has said, they are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Shepards are called to lead and feed the flock of God. Today not so much. (Isaiah 56:10-12) Pastors need to speak out on issues from their pulpit! Don’t be a sissy. Don’t be afraid because now is the time for men of God to be leaders not follows. We should change the atmosphere wherever we go. Find a man like that to support. Brave and strong in the Lord. By the way, get involved in what is happening today politically as well. Get out of the Church and do something. Preach issues from your pulpit. Tell your parishioners God will judge your vote. Vote Biblical values!

Most of our moral issues plaguing us today stem from nonsensical interpretation of the scriptures. Pastors, of which I am one, drive me crazy with the their fear of losing members. Preach the word, be a good Bible teacher. Don’t compromise. An old Preacher told me this over 40 years ago, “Son the people who are with you can’t leave you, and the people who aren’t with you can’t stay.” What he meant was those who want the truth will be drawn to you and those who want their ears tickled will leave. Great advice for any endeavor, just be yourself and say what is right and true and be passionate.

If you have as good Pastor, encourage him constantly. He needs it. If you go to a dead and dry church, get out of it. Christian’s don’t need junk food, they need to be fed from the Word. Rh

A Raging Battle

A phrase that I and many others have voiced on many occasions, “we are in a battle for the soul of America.” Truer words were never spoken. I write this short blog to lay out my feelings and more importantly my deeply held convictions.

First, I am an ordained Pastor who believes that righteousness exalts a nation, but evil rulers are an abomination to a people. At the present time we are ruled in both parties, but more so in the democratic socialist by demagogues. Ruling class pols that have no desire for the good of our nation.

Our battle is one of a spiritual fight, (Ephesians 6:10-18) and needs to be conquered as such! Years ago our Congress would debate and fight over spending and programs to help the poor or how to increase economic development and military spending. Not anymore.

Every issue that comes to the forefront today is a social construct. Each and everyone is a fist into the air against traditional values or Biblical values that America was founded on and churches and moral people accepted. The only way to defeat this enemy, and it is an enemy of the people, is to go full fledged into spiritual warfare. It’s not flesh and blood, but spiritual forces we are up against. Prayer is our weapon, but not the only weapon. We must use the shoes (Ephesians 6:15 to get out and do the work of an evangelist to save our country. God wants us to partner with him.

The battle is the Lord’s, but we are the foot soldiers. Hooray!

Woe Is Me

Isaiah 6:5…Woe is me for I am undone…for my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of Host. When we get an exalted view of God it brings a clear view of sin and a realistic view of self. Now that is scary. That may be why so many of us keep a somewhat safe distance from the presence of God. Close but not too close. We must remember that the Lord still sees us and knows us in intimate detail, even if we don’t acknowledge Him. Even the New Testament tells us to “work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.” That doesn’t mean we compromise and cut a deal with the Lord, no His word is true and never changes, but it does mean we need to constantly put our life under a Holy Spirit magnifying glass. Maybe it’s time we stop being average, but strive for spiritual excellence. The old adage is simple but true, God puts His super on our average. All God wants is a willing and humble heart and the Holy Spirit will do the rest. Let this be the year of consecration to Almighty God. Oh that I might see the Lord, high and lifted up. Rh

Christian Medical Worker Claims Her Livelihood was Taken Because of Beliefs – Took Final Stand on 1 Thing. By Western Journal

After 17 years of faithful service to her employer and her craft, a physician’s assistant was let go from her job at the University of Michigan Health-West.

The reason for Valerie Kloosterman’s termination was her refusal to participate in “gender reassignment” procedures, an action that ran counter to her “sincerely held religious beliefs” as a Christian, she said in a lawsuit filed Oct. 11 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

“I’m heartbroken. I had 17 years that I spent with patients and families, co-workers who sometimes I spent more time with than I did with my own family. And they took that away,” Kloosterman told Fox News. Full story at WesternJournal.com
