In Daniel 7:25 the Prophet speaks about the rule of the antichrist.   “He shall speak pompous words about the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.  Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time”.  

The portion of scripture I wish to investigate is the phrase about changing times and law.  A quick look into the Hebrew tells us that to CHANGE means to simply ALTER. TIMES means a SEASON ESPECIALLY WITHIN A PERIOD OF TIME.  LAWS means a DECREE or more importantly a ROYAL EDICT. So there will be altering of laws or decrees by some royal edict or proclamation.  Similar to what we see with an executive order from a president or a king. Where am I going with this? Let’s take this out of the prophecy mode and into the reality mode for a short time.  Never wanting to do disservice to the Holy Word, but only exploring how this could be accomplished and for what purpose in our world today.

First off, I believe we have a ruling class society in America.  We have those who rule because they have the supposed intellect or ability commoners don’t have.  Most, but not all, are a part of the one world cabal. The primary purpose of this cabal is to do away with borders, make all nations as if they were one.  No borders, no nations, no individuality. We would be all one people, so why not one world leader to do what is good for all ethnic and nationalities. Did you know that in the Congress of the United States there is a movement to do just that.  The United Nations was founded for just such a purpose as that. The Obama administration was working closely with the UN to take our guns and ammo from law abiding citizens. Universal health care is another way of changing by decree our freedom of choice.  Government takeover of a major portion of our economy. Bailouts of the auto industry early in this century was a model of how using fear, government could spend massive amounts of money to buy out, if you will, a private industry. Even though some car companies never took money and came back stronger than ever.  Banking was another. The Clinton administration forced HUD and low income lenders to make bad home loans to give the dream of home ownership to many who never would qualify for a loan. The ensuing problem was if you can’t qualify for a loan, how can you repay the mortgage? Each of these examples, and I could go on and on, is a type of changing or altering by decree for a time or season laws. 

So what am I saying?  John the Apostle wrote in his day there were many anti-christ.  There IS a world system in place and always has been. The system of this world is always a dominating or enslaving principle.  What we see now is just a prelude to what will be. Be careful to always use Godly discernment when we vote or accept any governmental plan that leads to entrapment or loss of liberty and freedom.  Our biggest problem is we are complacent and unaware of the dangers ahead. We trust without verification. If it sounds too good to be true, you can bet your last dollar it is. Remember that in the next election cycle.
