Exceeding Greatness of His Power

(Live In His Word, Walk In His Spirit)

J.B. Phillips’ translation tells us in Ephesians 1:19, “How tremendous is the power available to us who believe in God.” When we make firm our connection with Holy Spirit, His life and power can flow through us. Don’t waste this amazing help.

Second Corinthians 13:14 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.” The term “fellowship” is from koinonia and is rich with meaning, revealing some of what the Holy Spirit wants to be in our lives. The following English words are all translations of koinonia:

  • Fellowship – Holy Spirit wants to visit with us.
  • Communion – Holy Spirit wants to commune with us.
  • Sharing together – Holy Spirit wants to share His insights and power with us.
  • Participation in or with – Holy Spirit wants to participate in our efforts and activities.
  • Distribution – Holy Spirit wants to distribute revelation, gifts, anointings, and blessings to us.
  • Impart – Holy Spirit wants to impart God’s nature and benefits to us.
  • Partaking – Holy Spirit wants us to partake of His anointing and life.
  • Partnership – Holy Spirit wants to partner with us.
  • Companionship – Holy Spirit wants the pleasure of your company.

“May the koinonia of the Holy Spirit be with you.” What a loaded statement. Get better acquainted with Holy Spirit!

As I see it, when Jesus left this earth after the resurrection, He told His disciples that He was sending another comforter, (Gk. Of the same essence, of the same kind) the Holy Spirit. He will be with us and in us. Be filled with the Spirit, the greatest power on earth is a Spirit filled faith believing warrior of Jehovah God. Live in His Word, walk in His Spirit! Rh

Free From In Dwelling Sin

 Romans 8:1-11

Romans Chapter 8 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible, I have even called it the most perfect chapter in the Bible.  😁But then again I declare that of lots of other chapters.  Paul has just dealt with people who strive against sin in chapters 6 & 7.  Now he turns the page.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/114/rom.8.1.NKJV

It begins with the idea of freedom from sin.  Once sin is confessed and put under the blood of Jesus, there is no condemnation for the believer.  Many Christians suffer from condemnation, but in Christ we are free.  Christ came as the righteous requirement of the law.  He paid the price for our disobedience.

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

https://bible.com/bible/114/rom.8.5.NKJV

Paul warns us in v.5 to set our minds not on the fleshy sinful things, but on the things of the Spirit.  I call it “stinking thinking,” focus on the Word and Jesus Christ.  Being carnal mined brings death, but spiritual minedness brings life and peace. Read the Word, consume the Word and do the Word!  The Bible must be your foundation.

We must realize that once saved, we have moved from death to life.  We have a new thought process centered on Jesus.  We don’t walk in fleshy or lustful desire, but we walk in the Spirit to please God.

Many struggle with ongoing sin or disobedience.  We make mistakes, say the wrong thing, get angry or hurt someone with our words or actions. Pray, ask forgiveness and go on.  Remember no condemnation.  We have the power through the Holy Spirit to live above our old life.  New life fresh and powerful in Christ.  Don’t be too hard on yourself, but keep the faith and keep striving to please God.  He loves you and knows your heart.

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Ex-Psychic’s Dire Warning About ‘Wicked’ Movie – CBN News Billy Hallowell

Jenn Nizza, an ex-psychic who now runs a ministry urging people to flee the occult, is warning that “witchcraft is real” and is encouraging people not to watch “Wicked: For Good,” the new sequel to the wildly popular film “Wicked.”

Nizza, host of the “Ex-Psychic Saved Podcast,” told parents the movie “has a witchcraft influence” and is “romanticizing” the issue.

“This is very concerning to me, especially the indoctrination of the demonic targeting the youth,” she said. “This is my Christian perspective on this.”

Nizza has widely documented her decades in the occult, working as a psychic and medium before encountering Christ at the age of 37.

She said that experience has forced her to pause when it comes to projects like “Wicked.”

“As somebody who lived in the life of the occult and the New Age for many years … this film is playing on the sensitivities of many people, suggesting there should be some compassion for the bad witch,” she said, noting that the film also “suggests that there can be good witchcraft.”

This teaching is “dangerous,” according to Nizza.

“I just want to speak into this because I’ve been there,” Nizza said. “This movie is showing witchcraft. … Witchcraft involves invoking demons … it doesn’t matter if you call yourself a good witch or a bad witch; it’s condemned by God.”

Agree completely with this, I have seen personally people become entwined with what they thought was innocent and turned disastrous. As Christians we need to focus on what the Word says, and not allow darkness into our minds. Pray over your kids that any evil spoken over them or against them will prosper. Spirit realm is not to play with, anything outside of the Word of God and the Spirit of God must be off limits. Rh

An Open Heaven

At times the Lord seems to give me an open heaven.  Not that I see anything or dream any dreams, but His Word just comes alive and is so real to me.  Revelation knowledge is flowing like a summer thunderstorm drenching me with insight and an ability to see and apply God’s Word.  Things hidden and just not seen become as plain as the noonday sun.  I may write or make outlines on various sermon and Bible studies.  It just comes so easy.  It just flows.  The Holy Spirit is so real and I don’t even have to try to get into the flow, it’s like I’m in the midst of a Holy Spirit river, moving at not my will or pace, but at His pace.  I love and cherish those times.  They are the “times of refreshing.”  I feel like a warrior, ten feet tall with bulging spiritual muscles.

Unfortunately they often come after an intense time of spiritual battle.  Times of failure or having disappointments that allowed that depressive spirit to attack me.  Most of those times it was my failure that caused the attack.  I opened the door.  At times like that I feel lower than a snake’s belly in a wagon rut, but God is so gracious to break that spirit and because of His love, allows a fresh anointing to come and spark revelation and a sense of closeness that’s brings forth an inner depth of vitality in the Holy Spirit.

An open heavenly is seemingly a download from the throne room of God.  Oh how I love that time of study and insight that is given by the Spirit.  I believe it is the Spirit’s  way of saying, you made it through and victory is yours.  Fresh wine quenches the spiritual thirst, and fresh manna fills the spiritual belly.

Oh that I could live in that place of an open heaven.  Maybe that is what heaven will be like.  Rh
