Qatar Spends Billions To Shape Opinions

The tiny Gulf nation has spent almost $100 billion to establish its influence in Congress, universities, newsrooms, think tanks, and corporations. What does it want in return?

By Frannie Block and Jay Solomon

The question is: How did a refuge of Islamist radicalism, a country criticized for modern-day slave labor, become the center of global politics and commerce? How did this tiny peninsular country of 300,000 citizens and millions of noncitizen migrant workers manage to put itself smack-dab in the center of global diplomacy—and so successfully ingratiate itself within the Trump administration?

Over the past few months, The Free Press investigated these questions. What we found is that no obstacle, no history, no bad headline is too big for Qatar’s money.

Qatar has spent almost $100 billion to establish its legitimacy in Congress, American colleges and universities, U.S. newsrooms, think tanks, and corporations. Over the past two decades, it has poured those billions into purchases of American-made weapons and business investments ranging from U.S. real estate to energy plants. It built—and still pays for—the Al Udeid Air Base, even as the American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have ended. Doha finances research and campuses at prestigious American universities. And its lobbyists have the connections needed to open all the right doors in Washington. Since 2017, it has spent $225 million on lobbying and public-relations efforts in the nation’s capital.

The Free Press reviewed thousands of lobbying, real estate, and corporate filings. We interviewed dozens of American, European, and Middle Eastern diplomats and defense officials. We also analyzed secret intelligence briefings and previously undisclosed government documents. Together, they explain how Qatar has amassed so many loyal allies in America.

Tucker Carlson, Who is He really?

For many patriots and conservatives, Tucker was a well known and staunch supporter of free speech and mostly conservative values.  I never jumped on this band wagon, although I did appreciate his stance on many issues during his last days at Fox News.  I appreciated his prior stance on conservative issues.

Unfortunately his choice of guests on his well known podcast leaves much to be desired.  Having Senator Cruz of Texas and then barrating him at every turn on Israel was not a good look, especially when some of his anti-Israel guests had free reign to disparage Israel at every turn.  It seems Tucker and his friendship of those self  proclaimed Bible aficionados have taken a toll of Tucker’s bias.  Between him and Candace Owens they lead a charge of pointing out every fault that could be brought up whether true or not. Enough of that.

Carlson’s latest podcast interview featured Professor David Collum from Cornell University. One of the topics discussed was about America entering World War II and why the US should have “sided with Hitler.”  For my money that is when I would have shut the good professor down and silenced him.  In the interview, Collum began by insisting that the population’s information surrounding World War II “is all wrong,” to which Carlson promptly agreed. Collum continued, “One can make the argument we should have sided with Hitler and fought Stalin,”

Sadly this is not the first time Tucker has had a “holocaust revisionist” on his program.  Darryl Cooper was also featured on Tucker’s show in September of 2024.  This interview drew the ire of the Lawmakers from the U.S. House of Representatives who put forth a resolution condemning Carlson for platforming Cooper the following month: “Darryl Cooper falsely claimed that the millions who perished in Nazi concentration camps did so because of humanitarian efforts and a lack of resources, rather than the deliberate starvation and intentional genocide meticulously orchestrated by the Nazi regime… Cooper, in his words, presented the hyperbolic assessment that Hitler launched a war in the Soviet East in 1941 and was completely unprepared to deal with the millions of prisoners-of-war, throwing millions into camps, and resulting in the deaths of millions… Cooper points to letters in July 1941 from ‘commandants in these makeshift camps’ warning the Nazi German High Command that ‘[Nazi Germany] can’t feed these people’ and instead, he claims one Nazi commander suggested it be ‘more humane to just finish them off quickly now?’”

The resolution further stated, “Holocaust revisionism is a dangerous and morally reprehensible distortion of historical truth, disrespecting the memory of over 6,000,000 Jewish victims and the countless others murdered by the Nazis during the Holocaust.”

While Carlson’s newfound disdain for the Jewish State has disgraced him in the eyes of many conservatives and Christians, millions of his followers remain, happily consuming content crafted to stoke public opinion against Israel and the Jewish people as a whole. Because of the influence of this show and others millions are being fed falsehoods and outright propaganda against Israel and helping to light the fires of protest for the pro Palestinian cause here in America.

Shame on you Tucker!  Be careful little ears what you hear.

All eyes should be on the Middle East. What happens in this world is not without God’s notice. He is sovereign and His eyes never waver. We may be at the most dangerous time the world has ever known. The next few months could determine how long we have left. Look up, your redemption draws near.! The pieces are falling into place. Intercessors pray. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Likud MK Boaz Bismuth said Tuesday that applying Israeli “sovereignty” in the West Bank was at least as important, and more urgent, than reaching normalization deals with neighboring countries.

Bismuth, an ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who was recently handpicked by the premier to become chair of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, made the remarks on a tour of the northern West Bank as the guest of Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, who has long lobbied the government to extend sovereignty over the territory.

The tour took Bismuth to settlements, farms and security lookout points alongside Dagan and Yoni HaYisraeli, head of the local branch of Likud.

France, Egypt & Jordan warn: Israel’s Gaza offensive will ‘lead to disaster’ & ‘plunge region into permanent war’

August 20, 2025

Source: All Israel News

France, Egypt, and Jordan on Wednesday warned that Israel’s planned offensive– aimed at taking over Gaza City and, effectively, the entire Gaza Strip – would lead to disaster.

This followed several days of exchanges of diplomatic blows between Israel and France.

French President Emmanuel Macron wrote on  that he had discussed the Israeli plans with King Abdullah II of Jordan and with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

“We share the same conviction: The military offensive in Gaza that Israel is preparing can only lead to disaster for both peoples and risks plunging the entire region into a cycle of permanent war,” Macron said.

Israeli ambassador to France warns: Antisemitism in Europe at highest levels since WWII

August 18, 2025

Source: All Israel News

Israel’s ambassador to France, Joshua Zarka, said that antisemitism in France and across Europe has surged to levels not seen since World War II.

“We are facing an enormous wave of antisemitism in France and across Europe. It is something not seen since the last century, with the rise of Nazism,” Zarka said.

“The major outbreak occurred on October 8, 2023, when even as Israel mourned its dead and counted the kidnapped in Gaza, crowds took to the streets in Paris, London, New York, and elsewhere, shouting ‘Death to the Jews,’” Zarka continued.

Smotrich rejoices as settlement plan that ‘erases 2-state delusion’ gets final greenlight / Times of Israel

A major construction project that would see some 3,400 housing units built in the contentious E1 area in the West Bank, between Jerusalem and the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, was given final approval Wednesday.

Announced last week by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, the controversial plan was formally greenlit by the Higher Planning Committee of the Civil Administration, a Defense Ministry department.

Smotrich, who also holds a junior ministerial position in the Defense Ministry that grants him wide say in settlement construction, called the decision “historic.”

He described the construction plan as a “significant step that practically erases the two-state delusion and consolidates the Jewish people’s hold on the heart of the Land of Israel.”

“The Palestinian state is being erased from the table not by slogans but by deeds. Every settlement, every neighborhood, every housing unit is another nail in the coffin of this dangerous idea,” the far-right minister declared.

This is a potential game changer. Building settlements on your own land should not be an issue, but this is Israel. Wo just wait and watch the heads explode with the construction starts. Grab some popcorn. Rh

The Rise of Anti-Semitism

It is certainly not a surprise in the world we live in that hatred of Jewish people is on the rise. I say that, however, a part of me thinks it’s absolutely mad that we have forgotten the terrors of Nazi Germany so quickly. The Jewish people have a saying “never again,” speaking of the holocaust. Unfortunately never again happened on Oct. 7th 2023. I am not here to deal with that, we have spoken on that hideous attack with all its atrocities on many occasions.

The point of my essay today is to share the reason of this demonic hatred of a people that really are a bother to no one. They live their lives. They make the world better through their scientific and cultural activities. All they really want is to live in peace in their homeland, yes it is theirs from antiquity. Given to them by God to the Patriarch Abraham, passed down to Isaac and Jacob. In that same line we find our Savior Jesus Christ. Aw, now we are getting somewhere.

The pure demonic hatred is found from the beginning. From Haman, the Roman emperors, to Hitler and all points in between. It all started in the garden. It still flourishes today. The anti-christ spirit that lives in this world was spoken of in 1 John 1:18. It was alive then and it is on steroids today. The pure hatred brandied about on our college campuses by Marxist professors and students rivals the rise of Nazism in the 30’s in Europe. So it really is a sign of the times, but also a deep thread of evil that a sinful unrepentant world loves to soak in. Evil has to hate something or someone, and the Jews are an easy target.

Surprisingly even some Christian denominations have forsaken the Biblical command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. To lift up and pray for a people who through them came the sure Word of God and our Messiah. God is not finished with Israel. The very fact that this small country bothering no one is under heavy attack military and economically is proof they are still a part of God’s plan. Replacement theology is a lie.

The backlash to this is the saying of the radical Islamist who declare boldly they are coming for the Saturday (Jews) people first then the Sunday (Christians) people next. Mark my words the anti-Christ spirt is targeting and will increase attacks on churches and Christians. We are already seeing this happen in Europe, Africa, and Canada. Not surprising. This so called religion of peace, demands to “convert or die.”

Hate Israel if you want, but if you do, you will be standing and fighting against Almighty God. I choose to stand with Israel. That doesn’t mean I agree with everything they do, but it does mean I want to be on God’s side. I stand with the Word! I stand with Israel!

Happy suicide!’ Wilders slams Macron’s Palestine recognition

July 25, 2025

Geert Wilders, head of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV), on Friday responded to French President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement that his country would officially recognize “Palestine”.

In a post on X, Wilders sarcastically suggested that southern France could become the new Palestinian state.

“Here will be the new Palestinian State. Big parts of France are already islamic anyway,” wrote Wilders, alongside a map highlighting the southern part of France.

“Good luck Emmanuel Macron and France! Happy suicide! The Netherlands will close its borders immediately,” he added.

Saudi Arabia Says Palestinian State a Must for Ties With Israel

Story by Sherif Tarek. Bloomberg

This must never happen. A two state solution with a Palestinian state means more attacks and more October 7th style attacks on israel. Pray against this fallacy. Rh

Saudi Arabia can normalize ties with Israel only after the establishment of a Palestinian state, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said, reiterating the kingdom’s stance days after President Emmanuel Macron said France would recognize it in September.

“For the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, normalization with Israel can only come through the establishment of a Palestinian state,” Bin Farhan said at a United Nations press conference with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot, on the two-state solution.

“That position remains the same, and it is based on a strong conviction that only through the establishment of a Palestinian state and only through addressing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination can we have sustainable peace and real integration in the region,” the Saudi foreign minister said.

From Capitol Hill to Mount Zion: Huckabee’s Wake-Up Call to America

ByChris Katulka

July 18, 2025

Below is an article that tells us all we need to know about how far America has drifted from it’s moral foundation. Pray for our country! It is badly needed, we are so far gone only a genuine revival will ultimately save us. Rh

In the latest episode of The Jew and Gentile Podcast, Steve Herzig and I had the opportunity to speak with Ambassador Mike Huckabee, a longtime friend of the Jewish people and one of the clearest voices today on Israel and the Middle East.

Fresh off meetings in Washington, D.C. with President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Huckabee offered firsthand insights into discussions about the future of Israel in a new Middle East with the expanding reach of the Abraham Accords.

But it wasn’t the closed-door diplomacy that surprised him most—it was the streets of his own nation’s capital.

Twice, while walking through Washington, Huckabee was aggressively confronted by pro-Hamas protestors. “They recognized me, surrounded me, screamed at me,” he told us. “It made things so uncomfortable that about fifteen D.C. police had to intervene. That happened—not once—but twice.”

In a comment that startled many, Huckabee added, “I got to get out of this crazy town, Washington, and get back to Jerusalem, where I’m safe. People laughed—they thought it was a joke. I said, ‘No, I’m serious.’ I feel very comfortable and safe in Jerusalem. I do not feel that way in my own nation’s capital.”

Think about that.

A former governor and presidential candidate—targeted and heckled in the heart of American democracy—feels safer in Jerusalem than in Washington, D.C. What does that say about the state of our national discourse? And more importantly, where does it point us as people who are Biblically minded?

It points us to Zion.

In the ancient days of Israel, the prophet Micah envisioned a time in the future when peace wouldn’t be legislated from the palaces of human power, but from the holy mountain of God.

Micah 4:1–4 reads, “In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we walk in His paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between many peoples… they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Everyone will sit under their own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the Lord Almighty has spoken.”

What Micah describes isn’t a political ceasefire—it’s transformation. It’s not temporary relief brokered by diplomats—it’s lasting peace ushered in by the Lord Himself.

And that’s the contrast Huckabee felt so keenly. Washington is a place of power, but not peace. It’s a city filled with tension, noise, protest, and confusion. But Jerusalem—despite being surrounded by enemies—holds a remarkable sense of clarity and calm for those who understand its Biblical significance.

Jerusalem is where God’s promises converge. It’s where His Word was written, His Son was revealed and resurrected, and His kingdom will be established. When Huckabee says he feels safer in Jerusalem, he’s not just making a statement about crime or politics. He’s articulating something deeper—a spiritual alignment, a sense that in Zion, God’s purposes are unfolding, even amid present conflict.

It’s no surprise, then, that supporters of Israel are increasingly targeted in major US cities and on American college campuses. We are watching in real time as standing with God’s people is met not with applause, but with opposition. But the ancient call still stands: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord.”

That mountain—Mount Zion—is where peace will come. Not Capitol Hill. Not the UN. Not any man-made institution. Peace begins with the Prince of Peace, and He has chosen Jerusalem as the city of His throne.

So as the noise of culture grows louder, and the pressures to compromise truth intensify, let us remember where true peace is found. It’s not in the fleeting treaties of men, but in the eternal promises of God.

Capitol Hill may pass laws—but Mount Zion will bring lasting justice. Washington may host summits—but Jerusalem will send out the Word of the Lord. And while ambassadors are shouted down in D.C., one day, nations will stream to Jerusalem to learn the ways of peace.

Just as the prophet Jeremiah foretold, the Holy Spirit writes God’s law upon our hearts—and in doing so, He directs our attention toward Zion, where the Word of the Lord will go forth and peace and justice will be made known.
