‘Conceived in Liberty:’ the Historic Connections Between America and Israel CBN News

JERUSALEM, Israel  – Close to the heart of Jerusalem’s city center, not far from the Old City walls, is a greenspace called Liberty Bell Park. In it stands a replica of the original Liberty Bell at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall.

The park and the bell, designed in 1976 to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial, are a reminder of the connections between the founding of the United States and the founding of modern Israel.

As part of this week’s Jerusalem Dateline Independence Day special, CBN News’ Paul Strand visited there recently with Israeli columnist and commentator Gil Troy and CBN News Middle East analyst John Waage, to talk about the historic freedom connection between the two nations.

“I Saw You Wallowing and Said ‘Live in Your Blood’” by Ariel Schneider

I hope you enjoy this article, Israel is celebrating Israel’s Memorial and Remembrance Day. It is truly important to remember and look back on events that shape our thoughts and destiny. Article below. Rh

Remembrance is in the genetic code of the Jewish people. Without supervision and adherence to memory the sheep, the people of Israel, would never have survived the wolves and nations of the world. A Jewish proverb: Remembrance and commemoration determine who we are and our relationship with God. “I said to you in your blood live,” writes the prophet Ezekiel.

Without memory we would have no God, faith and everything that makes us who we are. Which is really more important, physical participation in God’s biblical legislation on Mount Sinai, or remembrance? Some of you will probably think that the opportunity to be at Mount Sinai is more important, but no, the memory is more important because it keeps the idea and the belief alive. What use is a live recording of God’s covenant on Mount Sinai if this sensation in the desert had not been reported for generations? Therefore, remembrance and commemoration play an important role in Israel’s life.

Tonight begins Memorial Day. From my point of view, there is no day more holy as we remember those who fell. Yom Hazikaron.

As a Conservative Christian I stand with Israel and the Jewish people. Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they are in the most desperate condition since the “67 war. Shalom to Jerusalem! “memory is more important because it keeps the idea and the belief alive.”

Who Am I?

It has been a while since I took a look at my stats. I am humbled that people from so many different areas are at least stopping to take a look at what I post. My main focus here is to spread news and information. I thought it might be time to let the new followers or guests that stop by to understand a little about me.

I am a born again believer, who has spent over 45 years in study of the Bible. A retired Pastor, Elder at the present time, Founder of Christian Conservative Coalition, Chairman of the Faith and Family Sub-Committee of the Collier County GOP.

My passion is to motivate Christians to get involved in government. As I look at the world today I try to use my Biblical expertise and the happening world events to discern the times we live in. We are in trouble. Many of my post will focus on political involvement and issues at home in America. However the Middle East is ground zero for all things related to what is brewing underneath. People fear what they don’t know, I hope to shed some light on where we are in the order of things related to the “end times”.

We are in the biggest fight we have ever been in to keep freedom, not only in America, but around the world. The One World Government boys are pushing hard to take over. This fight is a spiritual fight over ideas and control. It’s not a left vs. right political battle, but my feeling it is an all out good vs. evil fight. The morals of the world has gone into the cesspool. Lies, lack moral character, rule of law, stolen elections all for power and greed. It grieves my heart. You see I remember America as it used to be. A shiny light set on a hill, a beacon of freedom and hope for the world. Now, not so much.

In short thanks for dropping by. Sign up to receive my updates in your inbox. Spread the word and buckle up, things are beginning to heat up. Thanks again, Rh
