A Passive Society

Today more than any other we live in a passive society, at least from the standpoint of the Church.  The Luciferian left stands boldly for immorality, protests in the streets and makes the loudest noise of distraction.  I do not agree with their methods, however they have placed a stake in the ground and they will fight for every square inch of society. The Church is more concerned with not offending people, rather than taking back ground that was ceded to the enemy.  If the church fought half as hard as the left does for their beliefs, we would have a righteous nation.

Where is the fire of the Holy Spirit?  Why does every sermon have to be a borderline Ted talk.  Give me fire, give me passion, preach and teach like someone’s life depended on it.  It does!  Stop the passivity and rise up, wake up we have a country to save.  We are at war!  The fabric of our country is being attacked from within, and Christians, whom Jesus called salt and light, are sitting passively in darkness, unresponsive.  In fact the pulpit is silent.  Silence is acceptance.  Not saying anything is saying something.  We must stand against unrighteousness.

In 2 Samuel Chapter 11 we see a familiar story of King David who at times when Kings went out battle, David stayed home passively without direction or zeal.  He saw a beautiful woman bathing on the rooftop and desired her.  In a culture where a King got what he wanted, he took her.  In the process he allowed Uriah her husband to be put at the front of the battle and Uriah was killed.  Long story short, if David had been doing the work God called him to do, none of this story would have happened.  Are we as the leadership of the church passive or aggressive in the battle for our nation?

We are at war!  The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.  The conflict we face against Islam, gender ideology and the push for socialism as well as AI and demonic powers that seek world domination are daunting.  But the fight we have is against principalities, powers and demonic power in the heavenly places is the very reason the church was established.  Check out Ephesians 3:10.

The zeal for the Father’s house must permeate our spirit.  We must seek His face and become the warriors Jesus envisioned us to be.  A warring church!

Wake up the Mighty

It is the best of times and the worst of times.  We are in a battle for the soul of America, a philosophical civil war.  Not with guns or bombs or sword, but with ideas and speech and political correctness that has run amuck.  So much so we are destroying the very language we communicate with. Meaning of words have change, are you male, female, x, use the wrong pronoun you could get arrested.  We are not fighting left vs. right, one political party against another, this war goes much deeper. Into the very depths and heights of spiritual warfare. We are fighting right vs. wrong and light vs. darkness.  Our fight is for who will control our nation. Sinister forces are in play today to discourage and defeat the very plan of God for America. The Pilgrims dedicated this new land for Almighty God, and He has not relinquished His hand or sovereignty  over us. We are in the fight of our lives, for the Devil knows his time is short and is doing all he can with the help of his minions to defeat the plan and purpose of this great nation. We are God’s land and never shall we turn from that! Will we have to fight?  Yes! The dark side has money, media, and foot soldiers that will do anything to win, but we have a mission from Almighty God. Psalms 94:16 says “who will rise up for me against the evildoers?” America is the last and best hope for mankind. If we fail, the world is lost.  America has sent money technology and most importantly missionaries to spread the Gospel all over the globe. We are a beacon of hope and light! Arrogance? No! A mission from God! Only Jesus can save our nation and world, but without the uniqueness of America and its freedoms and morality the world is a dark place.  We in the church need to understand that the darkest of places need the light of the Gospel and the morality of a Godly people. So often we hear that the political realm is to dirty for Christians, however Jesus ate and communicated with what the religious leaders of that day called sinners and unclean people. We are called to be light and salt.  Light illuminates and salt preserves. Salt can also be an irritant to a wounded nation, as we call out immorality and greed. Can we win this battle? Yes a thousand times yes, but will we? We have reaped in America what we have sown. That is a law of God. We reap after we sow and we reap more than we have sown. Now we must sow into politics to reap a harvest.

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.

Pro 14:34

Righteousness exalts a nation,

But sin is a reproach to any people.
