Pentecost: One Of The Most Incredible Examples Of God’s Prophetic Foreshadowing

God planted a 2,000-year-old prophecy about the church in the most unlikely place: A bread recipe.

Many people look at the biblical feasts and presume these are simply Jewish traditions. However, these aren’t just random celebrations; they are divine prophecies planted throughout history. Pentecost is one of the most incredible examples of God’s perfect planning, also known as Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks.

Let’s start with what Pentecost actually is. In Leviticus 23:15-16, God instructed Israel, “And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord.”

This feast celebrates two things for the Jewish people: the wheat harvest and the giving of the law—the Torah—at Mount Sinai.

On this day nearly 2,000 years ago, Acts 2:1-4 tells us, “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Do you see the incredible connection? On the very same day that Israel celebrated receiving the law written on tablets of stone, God sent His Spirit to write His law on human hearts. This wasn’t a coincidence but a divine appointment set thousands of years in advance.

If God were a filmmaker, He would win every award for foreshadowing. The shadow appears in the Old Testament, but the substance, the reality, is found in Christ. As Paul writes in Colossians 2:16-17“So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.”

There is another powerful aspect of Pentecost. At Mount Sinai, on the day that the law was given, Exodus 32:28 tells us that approximately 3,000 people died because of sin. Fast forward to the day of Pentecost: “Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them” (Acts 2:41). The exact same number! Where the law brought death, the Spirit brought life. That’s not a coincidence. That’s God showing His amazing plan.

Let’s dig even deeper. In Leviticus 23:17, God gave specific instructions for Pentecost that seemed strange at first glance: “You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord” (emphasis added).

These loaves contain leaven. That’s extraordinary because, throughout Scripture, leaven typically symbolizes sin. During Passover, all leaven had to be removed from homes. Other grain offerings in Leviticus also had to be made without leaven. Here, God specifically commands leaven to be included. Why would God want an offering with leaven? These two loaves perfectly picture the body of Christ. One loaf representing the Jews, one representing the Gentiles, both containing leaven. We all have sin in our lives, yet despite our imperfections, God accepts us as His.

Also, notice that there are two loaves. This isn’t random. This is a picture of Jews and Gentiles being brought together as one in the Messiah, yet maintaining their distinct identities. God wasn’t surprised when Gentiles came to faith because He planned it from the very beginning. When did the Holy Spirit create this united body of Jews and Gentile believers? On Pentecost, the very day these two leaven loaves were to be presented.

The miracle of Shavuot isn’t just a historical event; it is a living reality for us today. Just as God took two separate loaves with leaven and presented them together before Him, He is doing the same with us. Jews and Gentiles are both imperfect, yet both are accepted in His sight through the Messiah.

Pentecost shows us something profound about God’s heart. He doesn’t demand perfection before accepting us. He takes us with our leaven and our imperfections and transforms us by His Spirit. The same Spirit that came down with power on that Shavuot morning nearly 2,000 years ago lives in you and me.

At Mount Sinai, the people said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do” (Exodus 19:8). They failed because they tried in their own strengths. What they couldn’t do under the law, God does through His Spirit. This is why Shavuot matters so much. It’s the day when God’s presence moved from dwelling in a temple made with hands to dwelling in human hearts. It’s the day when the harvest of souls began, a harvest that continues to this very moment as more people come to faith in Yeshua, our Messiah.

When we understand Shavuot, we understand God’s perfect timing, His perfect plan, and His incredible love for both Jew and Gentile. As we celebrate this feast, let us remember: we are those two loaves presented together before the Lord, united by His Spirit into one body while maintaining our unique identities.

What an incredible picture of God’s wisdom and love.

Genocide and War Crimes

Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed inThe a statement on Wednesday that they are launching an investigation into individuals they suspect of having participated in “genocide, war crimes, or crimes against humanity” during the Israel-Hamas war.

The RCMP referred to its quietly introduced investigation as a “sensitive matter” in its statement, which was released in response to news reports exposing the clearly anti-Israel probe. Despite their insistence that the investigation “does not target any community or group,” media outlets have sounded the alarm that Canadian citizens who have served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) could be in the crosshairs of police.

While the RCMP stated that the probe is not a “criminal investigation,” it added: “Should a perpetrator of core international crimes—such as genocide, war crimes, or crimes against humanity—with the appropriate nexus to Canada be identified, the RCMP will initiate a separate criminal investigation.”

Robert Gottselig, Executive Director of the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Canada, spoke out against the anti-Israel statements by the Liberal Government, cautioning: “This will not bring blessing to Canada; it will bring curses upon my country, as the God of this universe promised in Genesis 12:3.”  Breanna Claussen is the President and Editor In Chief for Harbingers Daily News Media.

Can I be honest here?  Canada is lost to a woke left wing Luciferian government.  I guess it is too much to consider an attack on unsuspecting young people who are attending a music festival and concert and then brutally being killed, raped and slaughtered is not a war crime??  Let’s not forget the babies that were put in microwaves or others who were burned alive.  How about being starved during captivity and left in dark rooms without fresh water and having to eat moldy bread?  No, let’s look into the IDF to see if the soldiers did anything we can pin a charge against.  Are you kidding me?  Anti-semitism has reached an unbelievable high in the world.  Typical!  Liberals love picking the wrong side.

I stand with Israel and their response has been measured. Rh

Opening the Gates: Trump’s Middle East Deals the Rise of Radical Islamic Influences in America – William Koenig

May 16, 2025

Sharing this article from a Christian journalist who is also a part of the White House press corps. His opinions I agree with 100%. We are living in dangerous times. Prosperity only comes through Jesus Christ, not aligning ourselves with anti-christians nations. Please read the following with an open mind. Rh

President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates has been framed by supporters as a major economic win. With reports suggesting these Gulf states plan to invest trillions of dollars into the U.S. economy through real estate, energy, and tech partnerships, the deals are being hailed as a major boost to American financial interests.

But while the business optics may appear favorable, the geopolitical and ideological implications raise serious concerns.

There is already a notable expansion of Islamic infrastructure within the United States. Thousands of mosques and Islamic centers—many funded directly or indirectly by foreign capital from the Middle East—are being built across American cities. These developments coincide with Trump’s deepening ties to the very nations that have historically funded extremist ideologies and political Islam worldwide.

Qatar remains one of the primary financial backers of the Muslim Brotherhood, a global Islamist movement with ties to political radicalism. They own Al Jazeera the largest news network in the Middle East and North Africa. They have been accused of being a mouthpiece for Hamas and Israel shut them down from broadcasting in the country.

Saudi Arabia’s decades-long export of Wahhabi doctrine has helped shape hardline Sunni ideologies across the globe. The United Arab Emirates, while more moderate in tone, maintains an authoritarian stance on religious and political freedoms and has sought to export its model of state-controlled Islam.

At the same time, Trump and his family stand to benefit personally. Ongoing or planned real estate projects in Doha, Dubai, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, and potentially even Syria suggests significant commercial interest. Additionally, there are reports of cryptocurrency ventures tied to state-backed Gulf funds—adding a financial layer that intertwines U.S. presidential influence with foreign investment from nations with strict Islamic governance.

While these nations continue to enforce rigid religious laws and limit Christian and Jewish expression within their own borders, they are being granted increasing economic and cultural presence within the U.S.

While these Middle Eastern governments tighten their grip on Islamic purity within their own borders—imprisoning Christians, banning Bibles, and persecuting evangelicals—they are now being granted unfiltered access to American soil. Mosques are rising by the thousands. Islamic centers, often backed by foreign capital, are expanding across American cities. And the silence from the church and the government is deafening.

The irony is striking. Israel, America’s most steadfast ally in the region, appears increasingly isolated—threatened daily by Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. And yet, the very nations that fund terror against the Jewish state are now being invited into the economic and cultural heart of America under the banner of deal-making.

Critics argue this alignment risks enabling ideologies that are fundamentally at odds with American democratic and pluralistic values. They point out that these countries not only restrict freedom of worship domestically but also promote a global religious and political agenda. And now, through high-profile deals and expanding U.S.-based assets, they are gaining unprecedented access and influence on American soil.

The prophetic implications are chilling. America is aligning itself politically and financially with nations whose core ideologies are hostile to Christianity and Judeo values. And, as Scripture warns, there are consequences for those who bless or curse Israel:

“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” — Genesis 12:3

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” — Galatians 6:7

This appears to be more than trade. It increasingly resembles an ideological advance—a soft invasion under the cover of business opportunity. What presents itself as economic progress may, in reality, be the Trojan horse of a much darker agenda: the erosion of biblical foundations and the quiet rise of a foreign ideological presence cloaked in commercial partnerships.

Trump’s legacy may indeed be built on deals. But the cost to the soul of the nation could be far greater than the billions gained—if anything is gained at all. Copied from watch.org. Willian Koenig

Macron’s Israeli advisor leading the drive for Palestinian state

https://www.jns.org/macrons-israeli-adviser-leading-drive-for-palestinian-state/

The silence of pro Israeli countries is breathtakingly silent. Even the U.S., who is Israel’s staunchest ally has been silent on these talks. True that Trump and his administration voice support for Israel, but these past few days have raised an alarm in my mind about how deep that support runs especially if an agreement to end hostilities in Gaza were announced. Remember Trump is the “of the deal.” He wants to be a peace maker. We must never, ever trade one acre of Israeli land for a peace deal that will never work. At least not until the Prince of Peace is here. Rh

Attack Nuclear Sites or Negotiate

This is a memo I sent a friend about the division in the White House over an attack against Iran’s Nuclear sites. Pray for Wisdom that Trump will listen to the right advice. Intercession will carry the day! Please pray. Rh

Here is something I forgot to tell you about the division in the White House over war now with Iran.  Some are business favor of a strike others not so much.

War side has Hegseth, NSA director, Military head of central command Gen Karulla and Rubio.

Against war & wanting more negotiations are Vance, Gabbard, Chief of Staff Susie  Wiles and Tucker Carlson who is an anti-Semite, or at least has many on his show.

This is the perfect time to strike, Iran has lost their radar abilities.  They are at their weakest point in many years.  Delay would only allow more time to make either a bomb or better delivery systems ie. missiles or rockets etc.

Pray God’s wisdom for Trump to make the right decision and to listen to the right voices.  As always this is a spiritual battle fought by intercessory! Rh
