Revolutionary microchip hailed as ‘generational’ breakthrough that will upend defense tech

An energy-efficient microchip under development combines different types of processors into one chip and is expected to revolutionize commercial and defense technology, the advanced semiconductor’s inventor says.

Radoslav Danilak, a veteran Silicon Valley electrical engineer who has worked with the U.S. military and intelligence community, predicted that the chip, called Prodigy, will save billions of dollars for tech giants such as Facebook, Apple, Microsoft and Google.

In two to three years, Mr. Danilak said, the advanced microchip likely will be running aerial and underwater unmanned vehicles, powering the world’s fastest supercomputers and being deployed on cell towers to facilitate faster and more capable 5G internet and telecommunications infrastructure.

Israel Attacks Syria Following Attempted Border Bombing

JERUSALEM, Israel – Israeli fighter jets, helicopters, and aircraft carried out airstrikes against the Syrian military Monday evening in response to an attempt by four men to plant explosives near the security fence between Israel and Syria Sunday night.

The Israel Defense Forces struck numerous positions held by Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces, including observation posts, intelligence collections systems, anti-aircraft artillery, and command and control systems.

“The IDF sees the Syrian regime as responsible for all operations carried out in its territory and will continue to act with determination against all attacks on the sovereignty of the State of Israel,” said the IDF in a statement.

Syria’s official news agency, SANA, said that the Syrian military engaged “hostile targets” near Damascus, and the enemy airstrikes inflicted “material damage” in the city of Quneitra.  Al-Arabiya reports that some injuries were sustained during the strikes.

Shortly before the airstrikes, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that an air raid by unidentified aircraft had killed at least 15 Iranian-backed militiamen in al-Bukamal.

Citing “reliable sources,” the group said the attack targeted “positions of Iranian forces and Iranian-backed militias in Imam Ali Base, areas near Al-Sekka, and in Al-Bokamal desert in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.”

SOHR sources said that military vehicles transported dead and injured militiamen to Iraq.

On Sunday, Israeli troops killed four men who entered Israeli territory and attempted to plant explosives near an unmanned IDF post along the security fence.

Amid the growing tension between Israel and the Lebanon-based, Iran-sponsored terror proxy known as Hezbollah, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are reinforcing their northern border at a significant rate. The tension between the two increased dramatically last week after Israel killed a member of Hezbollah during an airstrike in Damascus.

“The Chinese Communists are murdering, lying, torturing tyrants,” the Texas Republican said. 

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, warned Wednesday that China represents the chief threat currently confronting the United States, calling Chinese communists “murdering, lying, torturing tyrants.”

“The overwhelming challenge for this body and this country for the next century going forward is how we stand up to the threat of China. China is waging a thousand year war. And for the sake, not only of Americans, but for the sake of the free world, America needs to win this contest,” Cruz declared in a Senate floor speech.

“The coronavirus pandemic has thrown into high relief the fact that China is our most dangerous threat,” he added.

The China hawk and former presidential candidate pleaded to lessen U.S. dependence on Beijing and blasted American businesses for compromising while pursuing profits from China.

“Big business, giant corporations, the media, Hollywood, all are terrified to take on Communist China. All see the billions they can earn from access to the Chinese markets as more important than free speech,” Cruz said.

The head of the communications for the Turkish presidential palace just said that Turkey has the sufficient military power “to crush the illegal Libyan front.”

Flight radar from an hour ago: Iranian weapon shipments from Tehran to Damascus don’t stop even for one minute. This is a 747 cargo plane affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). I guess tonight will be another busy night for the Israeli Air Force.

This is the real earth shattering news. Since the start of this Covid pandemic, it seems the world has taken freedom to make moves that no one is noticing. I fear we may wake up some morning and realize the world is burning. China, Middle East Hong Kong, all becoming trouble spots that need our attention.

But we are wearing masks!

A new conflict in the Middle East? Turkey is about to start today an experimental drill for gas and oil in a location at the the Mediterranean Sea that Greece claims to be in its territorial waters.

The US and the EU have requested from Turkey to stop the drilling in the Greek territorial waters in the Mediterranean Sea. Not a dull moment here in the Middle East!

, Libya: Turkey and the forces of the government of national accord are ready to invade into the city which is in the territory of the Libyan National Army led by General Haftar. Egypt is monitoring the situation and might intervene to help Haftar’s forces.
