Fauci Files: Celebrated doc’s career dotted with ethics, safety controversies inside NIH

Reinstated whistleblower says Fauci failed to get involved when problems emerged on his management watch.

Earlier this month, Dr. Anthony Fauci offered a pointed response to those who have challenged his stewardship of the pandemic as the nation’s infectious disease chief: “I think you can trust me,” he declared, citing his long record of service in government medicine.

That is exactly what Fauci’s National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) agency declared years ago to foster children in New York, Illinois and elsewhere, many of whom were enrolled in an AIDS drug trial without the promised patient protections. An investigation concluded the NIAID’s AIDS research division that reported to Fauci had failed in many cases to provide patient advocates to monitor the foster kids’ health as promised, and in some cases, as required by law.

In other words, a trust was broken.

Earlier this month, Dr. Anthony Fauci offered a pointed response to those who have challenged his stewardship of the pandemic as the nation’s infectious disease chief: “I think you can trust me,” he declared, citing his long record of service in government medicine.

Just the News review of three decades of Fauci’s leadership of the National Institutes of Health’s infectious disease arm found that while his agency has achieved many successes in the fights against AIDS and other infectious diseases it also produced several instances — like the foster children research — in which congressional, government ethics and internal watchdogs found safety or ethics lapses on his watch. They include:

  • A 2004 internal NIH review that concluded Fauci’s AIDS research division was a “troubled organization” where managers were creating a hostile atmosphere with “sexually explicit and colorful language” and “seemingly being unaware of the need for appropriate behavior, decorum and enforcement of good management practices and rules of supervision.”
  • A pregnant Tennessee woman who died in 2003 after she enrolled in NIH-funded research in hopes of saving her soon-to-be-born son from getting AIDS. A review found that doctors continued to administer an experimental drug regimen despite signs of liver failure.
  • At least 10 children in a pediatric AIDS drug study died in what an investigation concluded was a death toll “significantly higher” than expected and unexplained.
  • An Office of Government Ethics investigation that cited NIAID for failing to review and clear two-thirds of its workers who were moonlighting in private industry for possible ethical conflicts.
  • A 1992 Department of Health and Human Services inspector general investigation that concluded NIAID failed to police two conflicts of interest in a vaccine experiment.

In 2005, the AIDS research division under Fauci’s agency was also required to reinstate a whistleblower, Dr. Jonathan Fishbein, its chief of ethics and regulatory compliance, after he and many lawmakers in both parties argued he had been wrongly fired in retaliation for raising safety concerns in some of the agency’s research.

In an interview with Just the News, Fishbein said this week that Fauci failed to take responsibility for the managers and researchers working below him when signs of trouble emerged, allowing problems to persist until others intervened. “Fauci is all about Fauci,” Fishbein said. “He loves being the headline. It’s his ego.”

This is the Dr. who shut the world down. Deep state friend of Clinton and Bill Gates, We have been played and the President has been played as well. We may never get the country back. Oh wait, the election is in November, it will be all over then.

We are being Played!

Heard of this a lot lately, but had no concrete evidence so I withheld posting.

About to share a word for word post a very, very good friend of ours from church shared on social media. Guarantee this is a true story.

“So we have two friends with 2 daughters. These 2 were hanging with a friend they found out tested positive for COVID, so they were being responsible and went in to be tested themselves. 4 hours later, they hadn’t been seen and went home UNTESTED. The next day they got a phone call about both of them of their POSITIVE TEST! This happened in Naples Fl.”.

We are being played by the authorities. Setting us up for a loss of our liberties. I will not comply.

Over the past weeks, we have been endlessly inundated with the same three words: “Black Lives Matter.” We hear them every day, on every media platform. Those words are spray-painted on buildings, streets and monuments across the country. We’ve also witnessed a parade of elite corporations vocally and financially supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

Their rhetoric is lofty and touching, but contradicted by their actions. As Johnny Burtka, the Executive Director of The American Conservative, pointed out on the Tucker Carlson Show: these companies have not lifted a finger to actually help or create jobs for the people they claim to support.

It may be a cliche, but if Black Lives really mattered, and not just a political slogan, the poverty and helplessness in black communities would be addressed. Instead of burning the communities down they would try to protect them. Instead of sitting back and watching there would be an effort to save black lives in Chicago and other cities where black on black violence occurs regularly. What about closing abortion clinics in black neighborhoods. More black babies are aborted in New York than births. All Lives Matter

Last paragraph is MY commentary.

In The News

Usually do this on a Saturday on occasion, but here it is on a Monday.

Trump holds first rally since shutdown.  He seemed off a little bit to me but still great to see the gathering.

MSNBC Host Joe Scarborough: Pro-Life Christians “Sold Their Souls” to Support President Trump  Amazing how non believers never get it.

As Black Lives Matter efforts persist, prominent black voices push back on anti-police politics.

Stanford prof: Median infection fatality rate of coronavirus for those under 70 is just 0.04%

Biggest news item to me is just the fact that with increase testing of covid-19 the general alarm has been sounded to expect a new wave of the virus.  The more testing, the smaller the mortality rate.

Finally what is going on with the left?  They really are depending on Biden?  Their platform of socialism will really sell to Middle Americans?

Dr. Birx tells on a conference call to the faith community that churches spread covid more than any other place.  Really?  Ever heard of a nursing home?  New York City?  How about protesters?   This is to prevent unity in the faith community.  Churches has the least cases of any group bar none!!!!!

If your really follow the news, you know they (MSM) know nothing of what they say.

Stay happy Patriots!!

It’s a Spirit

So my wife and I decided we would drive up to St. Augustine for a couple of days next week.  Decided we better make sure all the attractions were open for business.  Most were, but the one main thing we wanted to do was take an open air trolley to experience the downtown district.  It’s open, but you have to wear a MASK.  Are you kidding me?  No way I give my hard earned money to a bunch of fear mongers.  When something happens and it make no sense, such as wearing a mask in the open air, it’s a spirit.  We are eat up with fear today.  I am so glad I am old.  I lived my life, I didn’t walk around waiting to be scared or triggered.  God help this soy-boy nation raised with participation trophies.

I was raised barefoot walking in a barnyard, riding barefoot in the back of a truck, drinking from a garden hose, not wearing a seat belt in a car.  I survived but not sure about the soy-boys.  Civilization might end in the near future, at least one you would want to live in.

(Cut the song)       Born Free as free as……

Social Policing

So does Midnight basketball ring a bell?  Not sure if anyone is old enough to remember Bill Clinton’s grand scheme to redo the police departments and make cops social workers.  I can still hear him in his famous aw shucks voice telling us the virtues of finding something constructive for the you men to do.  Come to find our it was basically a way to funnel money to democratic causes.  Didn’t stop crime, didn’t really make a difference.  Typical liberal, he tried and for that he was a folk hero.

I am beginning to wonder who is advising the President? Yeah there are bad cops, but 99% or more I think are selfless honorable men and women.  I can not imagine how it would feel to have someone spit in my face or yell obscenities at me, or try to wrestle me down and take my gun.  Would I overreact?  Probably.  The problem is respect for the authority of the Police.  Tough and thankless job.  I honor you for your service.

God protect our protect those who  protecct us.

BREAKING: Three New York Police Detectives Poisoned at a Shake Shack in Manhattan

The officers were hospitalized after drinking the beverages from a Shake Shack near Broadway and Fulton on Monday and are expected to recover, PBA President Pat Lynch said.

“All PBA members are advised to carefully inspect any prepared food item they purchase while on duty for possible contamination,” Lynch said. “Whenever possible, take meals in groups of two or more, and remain vigilant for the duration of the meal period.”

The substance in the drinks is believed to be bleach, Lynch said.

The Detectives’ Endowment Association tweeted that the officers were “intentionally poisoned.”

When is this nonsensical madness going to end?
