The American Spirit

We have lost the true meaning of being an American.  Americans are a true breed of people, not in birthright, but in the indelible spirit of freedom and the expectancy of a better life and world to come.  Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is not a catch phrase, but a true and noble idea that all true Americans, not only long for, but pursue to their dying breath.  The spirit of can do, a spirit of hope and expectancy is not found in great measure today, rather a sense of doom,  gloom and failure prevails among our society.  Utopia will not be reached, but a good, moral and noble country is well within reach.

What is the American spirit?  As I reach the soon to be twilight of my existence on this Earth I find I think more of what was, rather than what could be. I fear in our haste to rush toward a more European existence we have completely lost what made us who we are.  Rugged individualism and not compromise is what Americans do.  We desire what is noble and fair.  It doesn’t take a roundtable of intelligentsia expounding hot air to know the truth, it is inbreed within us.  It is not a poll to determine our position or a fear of what one might say, it is knowing and doing what is the right.

You see my friends we are the last great hope for mankind, if we fail in this 244 year experiment into freedom, the entire world will follow us to destruction and a new fearfully prophesied world ruling power will soon come upon the scene.  I see the future hanging in the balance.  At times tears flow and I long for the old America.  She was not perfect, but she was free.  We faced our troubled demons head on, taking years to fix, but we fixed them. We aren’t perfect, but we are the land of the free and the home of the brave. Rule of law and fair play, which is missing today, was a cornerstone we stood on. Equal protection under the law and equality of rights we envisioned for all.  Lady Justice has taken off her blindfolds.  As the Bible declares in Isaiah 59, “Justice is turned back and truth falls in the street”.

We are the only nation on the face of the earth with a saying such as this, the American Dream.  To borrow an eloquent title from a wonderful movie that typifies who we were and who we should attempt to become again to save this republic.  I ask the question, do we have The Right Stuff?

“We’re Not Ready” – Pastor Urges US Christians to Prepare for Persecution

Pastor Andrew Brunson, who served as a missionary in Turkey for over 20 years, recently predicted that U.S Christians will face increased persecution in the near future.

According to CBN News, Brunson’s remarks were made during the “Global Prayer for US Election Integrity” event on Facebook last Sunday.

“On my return to the US just over two years ago, for the first time in my life—most of my life I’ve been focused overseas—for the first time in my life, I really, I have an urgency for this country, for the United States,” Brunson explained. “And not just with this election. It’s not precipitated by this election, but it has been growing in me these last two years.”

He warned of increasing pressures in the U.S, especially towards people “who embrace Jesus Christ and his teaching, who are not ashamed to stand for him. My concern is that we’re not ready for this pressure. And not being prepared is very, very dangerous on a number of levels.”

In 2016, Brunson was unjustly imprisoned in Turkey after the government accused him of partaking in an alleged coup against Turkish President Erdogan. Bruson then spent the next two years in prison despite having nothing to do with the allegation.

Fortunately, the imprisoned pastor would be released following diplomatic intervention from the Trump administration. Brunson had also established the Izmir Resurrection Church, which preached Christ and tended to Syrian refugees, including Kurds.

Despite his imprisonment, Brunson believes God would providentially use his story to help prepare other Christians to persevere despite the forthcoming trials

“I think one of the purposes God had for me in my imprisonment was that I learned perseverance at a deeper level again and again and again, as I was repeatedly broken and finally he rebuilt me,” he noted. “But one of the purposes he had for me was to learn this perseverance so that I could help to prepare others to persevere.”

Whether or not President Trump can overturn the 2020 election, Brunson says persecution will come no matter who is in the White House.

“Whoever ends up prevailing in this election, I believe that persecution is still coming and it’s coming quickly and it’s coming soon,” he cautioned. “So if President Trump prevails, it will delay persecution at a government level, but this will not keep us from the hostility that’s rising in our society toward followers of Jesus.”

Even though Jesus “was the most loving, kind person in history,” he was called evil, Brunson said, and that the same is to be expected for all Christians.

“They will say that we are evil and they will justify everything they do to us because they will paint us as evil people,” Brunson continued. “What is heavy on my heart, is that we need to prepare ourselves to prepare our own hearts.”

Psalms 2:1-4

Great example of our time now. GOD knows and sees all and scoffs at our rebellion. our vain attempts to control this world is futile.

Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
— Psalm 2:1-4

Friday Morning Musings

Just thought I would share a couple of thoughts on the past week and what we can look forward to over the weekend and then the next week. Every day we get more and more videos, affidavits, and eyewitness accounts of voter fraud. I have not shared it but you can go to Gateway Pundit and you can see a video of suitcases of ballots brought out when all of the observers and reporters were sent out of the room in Georgia the night of the supposed water leak.

There is no doubt in my mind that the globalist in this country including Republicans as well as Democrats, desire a one world government where they think they can be in charge of everything. The Pope just came out recently and has for the past few months been talking about the need of a strong world leader. Very interesting times we live in, I’m a Christian and I’m a student of Bible prophecy, so I see this all as what the Bible described as the end times playing out right before our eyes. There is no doubt in my mind that the ultimate hatred aimed at President Trump is not because of his policies, even though they disagree with them, but of the fundamental difference in ruling and governmental philosophy. The globalist, which include the Bushes, Obama, most of our senators and a few of our representatives and governors all want a ruling class mentality where they are in charge of everything including where you go, what you eat where you can travel and of course let’s limit Churches and religion.

Folks I’m a man of prayer, we must pray and we must stand up against this one world government and one world religion that is being forced upon us. Donald Trump is the only thing that stands in the way of their demonic plans. Pray.

Voter fraud needs to be identified and the election needs to be overturned and Donald Trump needs to be our president, if not we are in a serious world of hurt.

America Long May She Live

Imagine if you will if America ceased to exist. We are heading down that path. We are the last and only hope for mankind in this world. Freedoms of all forms would go away. Tyrants in fixed elections would ascend to the ruling seat of all countries in bogus elections. We are the last great bastion of personal freedoms in the world. We can worship who we want, say what we want, and go where we want freely. I, for one will do that till the day I die. Long live the American dream! America, she is worth fighting for.
