Hmmm, isn’t it interesting that one socialist/communist to another is offering advice and council. Fundamentally destroy American is now let’s destroy New Your city. IMO if Mamdani is elected is will make New York a barren wasteland of drugs, crime and radical behavior rivaling third world countries. We will have our own Gaza right here in the good old USA. Rh

In the days after it became clear Zohran Mamdani had won New York City’s June mayoral primary, much of the Democratic establishment began to panic.

Former President Barack Obama, the last Democrat to captivate the party’s base, got on the phone. In a lengthy call in June, Mr. Obama congratulated Mr. Mamdani, offered him advice about governing and discussed the importance of giving people hope in a dark time, according to people with knowledge of the conversation.

Others in Mr. Obama’s orbit have also shown a keen interest in Mr. Mamdani and his campaign. Jon Favreau, who served as Mr. Obama’s speechwriter, and Dan Pfeiffer, a former senior adviser, have been in communication with the Democratic strategist Morris Katz, among Mr. Mamdani’s closest aides.

Over the past weeks, we have been endlessly inundated with the same three words: “Black Lives Matter.” We hear them every day, on every media platform. Those words are spray-painted on buildings, streets and monuments across the country. We’ve also witnessed a parade of elite corporations vocally and financially supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

Their rhetoric is lofty and touching, but contradicted by their actions. As Johnny Burtka, the Executive Director of The American Conservative, pointed out on the Tucker Carlson Show: these companies have not lifted a finger to actually help or create jobs for the people they claim to support.

It may be a cliche, but if Black Lives really mattered, and not just a political slogan, the poverty and helplessness in black communities would be addressed. Instead of burning the communities down they would try to protect them. Instead of sitting back and watching there would be an effort to save black lives in Chicago and other cities where black on black violence occurs regularly. What about closing abortion clinics in black neighborhoods. More black babies are aborted in New York than births. All Lives Matter

Last paragraph is MY commentary.
