Lebanese Minister of Information Resigns Amid Growing National Anger
Manal Abdel-Samad submitted her resignation on Sunday in the wake of national protests targeted towards a corrupt government.
Following the national protests that took place over the weekend in Beirut, Lebanon’s Minister of Information Manal Abdel-Samad resigned on Sunday. This comes in the aftermath of the unprecedented explosion that took place last week, killing over 160 people. Without question, the frustration of the Lebanese people has reached its peak when it comes to government corruption.
Supposedly, at least one other minister close to the prime minister is expected to resign soon as well. Several other lawmakers have also resigned.
Within her letter of resignation, Samad portrayed her disappointment when it comes to failing the Lebanese people. She added, “Given the magnitude of the catastrophe caused by the Beirut earthquake that shook the nation and hurt our hearts and minds, and in respect for the martyrs, and the pains of the wounded, missing and displaced, and in response to the public will for change, I resign from the government.”
The Lebanese people have carried out protests several times in the last year, primarily targeting their corrupt government, which has resulted in a devastated economy. It’s estimated that nearly three-quarters of the country needs some sort of humanitarian aid. And now, post-explosion, over 300,000 additional people have been left homeless.August 9th, 2020|News http://www.BeholdIsrael.com
2020: The strangest and most crucial year of our lives
David Kupelian: Attempted coup, impeachment, pandemic, riots, election – where it’s all heading
By David Kupelian
Published by World Net Daily
2020 is undoubtedly the strangest – and most pivotal – year in modern American history.
The year started with a presidential impeachment trial, the culmination of three years of nonstop accusations that President Donald Trump had committed treasonous “high crimes” and must be removed from office immediately.
Every part of the Democratic Party’s attempted coup d’etat against the legally elected president – from “Russia collusion” to “Ukraine-gate” – turned out to be not just untrue, but straight-up projection: The Democrats had committed precisely the crimes they ascribed to Trump.
It was Hillary Clinton’s campaign, not Trump’s, that “colluded with the Russians” before the 2016 election, having funded the infamous “Steele dossier” composed of lurid disinformation about Trump largely from Kremlin-based intelligence sources. Likewise, it was Joe Biden, not Trump, who corruptly dealt with high Ukrainian government officials for his personal benefit, explicitly threatening to withhold $1 billion in promised U.S. foreign aid if the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Biden’s corrupt son Hunter wasn’t fired – a textbook case of extortion Biden later bragged about on video.

An Unsettling Feeling
I may not the the most positive person in the world. Because of my Christian faith I firmly believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, and as a student of that word and one who sees and somewhat understands current events, not only in Biblical ways, but also political or secular ways I have had an unsettling feeling in my heart. Many times I see what could go wrong while still having a profound faith that God is in charge, regardless of what chaos is going on in our little world. At the same time I know one of God’s firmly established laws is the Law of Reaping and Sowing. One always reaps more and later than when we sow. Even taking the moral aspect out of the equation we all realize that we are reaping years of immorality and greed, as well as ideological ideas that are detrimental to our founding principles. In many ways we have been and are in at the present time in a philosophical civil war of astonishing proportions. We are also in a division not seen in this country since we fought the Civil War. Let us pray this does not escalate to that level.
I know with certainty that President Trump was elected for a profound reason. Part of his mission, which I think is God blessed is to wreck havoc like an Old Testament Prophet, not mincing words or playing nice but getting to the root of the problem. That is what we need! All of hell has come against this man and I fear it is not over by any means. I guess my foreboding stems from the fact that once is never enough for the radical left. If they lose this election in November, they will never stop to try to overturn the will of the people. They have already shown that riots and anarchy are the calling card of the radical leftist.
Just a warning, be prepared for the worst. Nothing is beyond what they may attempt. Just remember that the FBI, DOJ, CIA were all working together to bring the downfall of a duly elected President of the United States. Vote like your life, and your way of life depends on it. Freedom vs Tyranny!!
If you are a person of prayer, please spend time in your prayer closet for America.
May we in America rise to the high calling God has placed on us.
Rush Limbaugh: Trump will secure victory on this one issue
President ‘has got to focus like a laser’
By WND
There are many issues on which President Trump could campaign, says talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.
But there’s only one he needs for re-election, Limbaugh told his listeners Tuesday: He’s the one will will stand between the “mob revolution” and the rest of the nation, the people “trying to save the country.”
Limbaugh said that’s, in a nutshell, “what Donald Trump must say he represents. “
“He cannot assume that people know that. He cannot assume that people believe that. He cannot assume that people remember what Make America Great Again was all about in 2016. He has got to focus like a laser that his objective is to stay between the mob revolution and the people trying to save the country,” Limbaugh said.
Needless to say I wholeheartedly agree with El Rushbo. I believe all the violence and mob rule and democrats sitting back and watching and hoping for more destruction will be their downfall in Nov. America is NOT racist and is not angry. Ask anyone in foreign countries and they will tell you how great America is.
Welcome to America’s Cultural Revolution
We’re in the dawn of a high-tech, bloodless cultural revolution, one that relies on intimidation, public shaming, and economic ruin to dictate what words and ideas are permissible in the public square.
“Words are violence” has always been an illiberal notion meant to stifle speech and open discourse. Popularized by a generation of coddled and brittle college students, it now guides policy on editorial pages at newspapers such as The Philadelphia Inquirer, The New York Times, and most major news outlets.
The Times can claim that a harsh tone and a small factual error in Sen. Tom Cotton’s recent op-ed was the reason the entire paper had a meltdown, but the staffers who revolted initially claimed that Cotton’s argument for bringing the National Guard into cities put black lives in “danger.”
None of the Times’ editors, all of whom are apparently comfortable with running fabulist histories or odes to communist tyrannies, pushed back against the caustic notion that engaging in debate was an act of violence. They bowed to the internal mob and pleaded for forgiveness. Taken in part from a Commentary by David Harsanyi—The Daily Signal
Free Speech not Free Violence
I am proud to live in America. I am proud of our history of being a nation that is first on the scene of any and all world disasters. We, even if our efforts don’t always end like we like always try to make the world a better place. We are not racist nor are we inherently racist. People have a right to peaceable protest and make their grievances known to the proper authorities. With that said, there is a difference in protest and civil disobedience. Violence, arson, looting, rioting, beatings and even killings have wrapped themselves around the protests. This must be stopped. Destroying business and destroying peoples live are unacceptable. Mob rule must not be tolerated in America. It breaks my heart to see small children being indoctrinated into this cult. It is a cult, Antifa demands kneeling with up raised hands and confession of guilt to gain absolution. Again why? Because we are all racist. We have all wronged all people of color. We are guilty. The nation that elected a black man eight years as President is racist? We honor people who accomplish something in America regardless of skin tone.
NO we are not racist. This is not about race but power. Check out who is funding them. Powerful sitting politicians on the left and multi millionaire elitist. Hollywood, sports icons etc. It is a militant move on the sovereignty of the rule of law and our nation. Destruction is their goal. They want to tear down not build. Those who accomplish nothing see no fear in tearing down something someone else built.
God Bless America. To all our enemies I say God is not finished with the United States of America.
Today
I had forgotten that Rod Rosenstein was going to be grilled by the Senate today on the Russia investigation and the Mueller report. I just turned it on for about 35 seconds of useless pandering. Let me say this, don’t bother watching you’re not gonna find out anything that you don’t already know. You know the old saying birds of a feather flock together…
