A joint statement of the Israeli foreign, defense and energy ministers:

“The “Karish” rig is a strategic asset of the State of Israel and is intended to extract the energy resources and natural gas in the State of Israel’s Economic Zone and to advance Israel’s green economy.

With its anchoring, the rig is located in Israeli territory, several kilometers south of the area over which negotiations are being conducted between the State of Israel and the Republic of Lebanon, mediated by the United States. The rig will not pump gas from the disputed territory.

The State of Israel prioritizes the protection of its strategic assets, and is prepared to defend them and the security of its infrastructure, all in accordance with its rights.

At the same time, we call on the Republic of Lebanon to accelerate negotiations on the maritime border. Locating gas-based energy sources can greatly assist Lebanon’s economy and its citizens, and it is in the interest of the Republic of Lebanon to advance the dialogue on this matter. We hope that this will occur”.

Barr: US Legal System Is ‘Rigged Against Republicans’

Former Attorney General William Barr called the Russiagate “a dirty political trick” against former President Donald Trump and criticized the justice system as “rigged” to target Republicans.

“I thought we were heading into a constitutional crisis,” Barr told conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck in a recent episode, after being asked about his return to politics between 2019 and 2020. Barr then brought up the Russia probe against Donald Trump, the second president he served as the attorney general after George H.W. Bush.

“Whatever you think of Trump,” he explained, “the fact is that the whole Russiagate thing was a grave injustice. It appears to be a dirty political trick that was used first to hobble him and then potentially to drive him from office.”

He said he believes Hillary Clinton’s Russiagate scandal was “seditious,” referencing the scheme that began in early 2016 to vilify Trump as an agent of the Kremlin.

Such remarks, however, were soon followed by the acquittal of Michael Sussmann as a jury on May 31 found him not guilty of lying to the FBI. Prosecutors accused the former Clinton campaign cybersecurity lawyer of not disclosing who he worked for to a top FBI official ahead of the 2016 election.

His tip—an alleged link between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia—also failed to prove any Russian collusion.

The jury, from a largely Democrat-leaning pool of the nation’s capital, ultimately rejected the prosecution’s claims. Defense Attorney Sean Berkowitz accused Durham, who was appointed by Barr during the Trump Administration to probe the origins of the now disproven Russiagate, of picking evidence to fit a narrative.

“I do think there is a degree to which the system had a double standard, and still has a double standard, and is rigged against Republicans,” Barr said on the podcast. “For an example, while I was Attorney General, no case that was embarrassing to the Democrats was leaked. However, cases that hurt Republicans were leaked.”

Russia Warns that Israeli Strikes in Syria Seek to ‘Escalate Tensions’ by Behold Israel

Russia’s ambassador to Syria issued a warning on Thursday that Israeli airstrikes inside of Syria are close to forcing Russia to respond; Israel has targeted several Iranian-backed sites inside of Syria for years now in order to prevent entrenchment by the world’s number one sponsor of terror.

On Thursday, Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Efimov issued more concerns regarding Israeli strikes inside of Syria in recent weeks. The ambassador claimed that the Jewish State’s airstrikes seek to “escalate tensions and allow the West to carry out military activities in Syria.”

Russia’s ambassador went as far as saying that Israeli airstrikes in Syria are “provoking” Russia to react.

Israel, for many months and even years now, has been carrying out airstrikes in Syria – largely in the region of Damascus – in order to prevent Iranian entrenchment inside the war-torn country. Iran has a host of proxy militia fighters throughout Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other places in the Middle East. Recent strikes have resulted in the deaths of multiple Iranian-backed fighters in and around Damascus.

Is Biden Loving High Gas Prices?

Candidate Biden Promised to ‘End Fossil Fuel’ Dale Hurd CBN News

Biden has made no secret of his goal to end the oil and gas industry. 

In one 2020 campaign appearance, Biden told a young supporter, “I want you to look at my eyes. I guarantee, I guarantee we’re gonna end fossil fuel.”

And during a 2020 debate with Donald Trump, Biden pledged, “No more subsidies for the fossil fuel industry. No more drilling on federal lands. No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period.”

America Could Again Be Energy Independent If the White House Wanted It

And in just 14 months, America has gone from being energy independent under Donald Trump to a nation dependent on foreign oil, including Russian oil, even though the U.S. still has abundant energy resources.

“We have 250 years’ worth of natural gas,” says Economist Stephen Moore, “We have 500 years’ worth of coal. We have 150 years’ worth of oil. We’re not running out of it. We just need to drill for it, and that’s not happening right now.”

Energy analyst Ben Lieberman at the Competitive Enterprise Institute says, “Not everything that affects the price of gasoline is within a president’s control, but everything that is within President Biden’s control, he’s been doing wrong.”

Lieberman says, “There was also a major multi-agency effort on the part of the Biden Administration to discourage banks from lending to oil and gas companies. That’s important as well. (The oil and gas industry) can’t do these projects unless they can get the financing. And that’s something that the Biden administration has clamped down on.”

Despite White House rhetoric, critics say little is actually being done to bring down prices. Biden’s Transportation Secretary says if you don’t like high gas prices, you should buy a $60,000 electric car.

America has Fallen!

America has fallen! For the past 4 years we have seen a systematic destruction of our nation. A silent coup that has now been exposed against a duly elected President of the United States. Who is in jail? Who has even been charged with the smallest of crimes? We have solid evidence in personal emails of the highest levels of the FBI, and the White House of domestic spying on President Trump. What has been done? Nothing at all. We were a nation of laws, justice was blind to who or what crime or the severity of said crime, justice would always prevail. Not any longer. We have 3 classes of individuals in our nation now. The Ruling Class that does whatever they desire legal or not. Laws for thee, but not for me. Secondly we have the worker bees, the people who make this country work. They are the silent majority that are overworked and over taxed and over regulated. They work and others reap the benefit. Their voice has been silenced. Lastly we have the parasites who either won’t work or have no desire to find meaningful employment. They are the takers feeding off the backs of the working middle class who strain to make their lives and their families lives better.

Israeli-Ukrainian Father Mistakenly Killed While Attempting to Flee the Country

The father of two children was killed while attempting to flee Ukraine on Monday; Victim’s father: The Ukrainian soldiers thought he was Chechen or something and killed him.

Adding to the tragedies reported amid the Russia-Ukraine war, a Jewish father of two was mistakenly killed on Monday while attempting to leave Ukraine. Roman Brodsky was reportedly shot dead by Ukrainian forces after they mistook him for a pro-Russian Chechen fighter. Brodsky was traveling among a convoy of vehicles on its way to the Moldovan border.

According to an initial report by The Times of Israel, Brodsky was living in Ukraine with his family before the war. The report states that the father claims that his son was killed at a military checkpoint. The father said, “The Ukrainian soldiers thought he was Chechen or something and killed him.”

Despite his son being killed by Ukrainian soldiers, Brodsky’s father pointed the finger at Russian President Vladimir Putin. He stressed the need for Israel to do its part in bringing its citizens home safely.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett responded to Brodsky’s death, stating, “In the name of all Israeli citizens, I want to send my condolences to Roman’s wife, children, and family in Israel and in Ukraine. We are doing everything to help Israelis return home.”

The core Jewish population of Ukraine is approximately 43,000. However, up to 200,000 Ukrainians, according to a report by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research, qualify for Israeli citizenship in line with the Law of Return.
