The Policy of the Trump Administration is that the West Bank (Judea & Samaria) will not be annexed by Israel
Vance calls it an insult on Israel annexing the West Bank and calls it. “Stupid “ political stunt. (It’s their biblical land) West bank is Judea and Samaria.
Trump tells reporters, (don’t worry about it, won’t happen). “They aren’t going to do anything about it.”
Trump in Time Magazine “Israel would lose all of its support from the United States if that happened,” he said. “It won’t happen because I gave my word to the Arab countries.”
To be fair, Netanyahu also did not want the vote. (Appeasement to the Trump administration?) or something else. There are factions in Israel that want Netanyahu ousted.
The (West Bank) as Vance called it (carefully chosen words?) Is actuality in Judea & Samaria, a part of Biblical land given to Abraham in the eternal covenant.
IMO – It was the Trump administration’s own ambassador Huckabee who began the push during the war with Hamas to start calling and visiting the Biblical land of Judea and Samaria. This idea began to take on some steam until the past few weeks during this rush to make peace before the job by the IDF could be finished. No doubt in my mind that the connection with Israel has been somewhat severed, and the ties to the Arab and Muslim countries have been pushed to the forefront during negotiations.
Listen I understand politics but God takes a very stern view of dividing the land. The big question is whether not allowing Israel, due to sensitivities of the Muslim world, should that halt Israel from annexing their homeland? I think it matters. I personally think it does equate. It is always Israel that has to fight for every square inch of their land. It’s always about Israel’s land. To be fair it was only a symbolic vote. But it is their God given inheritance.
The concern for me and I hope many other Christian Conservatives is how easily American politicians turn their back on Israel and make strong statements of what will happen in the Middle East. Admittedly the Middle East is a quagmire of political and religious obstacles.
Petro $ and investment or the covenant. I choose the covenant.
