IRGC Leader Issues New Threat To ‘Sworn Enemies’ Following Fakhrizadeh’s Death

The leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that the killing of Iran’s lead nuclear scientist nearly two weeks ago is only causing the regime to further plot against its ‘sworn enemies.’

Hossein Salami, the current leader of the IRGC, spoke recently concerning the killing of Iran’s head nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, and what Iran’s sworn enemies can expect in response. Fakhrizadeh was killed nearly two weeks ago east of Tehran at the hands of Israel’s Mossad. However, in his recent address, Salami did not specifically name the Jewish State.

In a recent speech, Salami stated, “Iran’s sworn enemies should know that the Shahids are our burning flames, we will continue on the path they have laid out before us, we will not stop.”

A Shahid is an Islamic martyr.

He continued his statement by claiming that Iran knows that its enemies are “waiting in fear,” knowing that the Islamic Republic will strike at the proper time. He added that Iran’s enemies would be wise to acknowledge that the regime grows whenever a martyr takes place.

As they have for a significant amount of time, Israel warned of its readiness to confront Iranian aggression. Israel has been very active in the prevention of Iranian entrenchment inside of Syria, especially in the last 12 months.

United Nations Passes Resolution Favoring Temple Mount As Muslim Holy SiteBy Behold Israel, Nov 6, 2020

In what was one of seven anti-Israel resolutions passed at the United Nations this week, the body voted to pass one resolution that gave recognition to the Temple Mount as solely a Muslim holy site, using only the Muslim name; Erdan: No resolution passed here will change the eternal connection between the Jewish people and the holiest site of our faith – Har HaBayit, the Temple Mount.

In what is disgracefully the normal pattern of the United Nations, they’ve once again passed several anti-Israel resolutions this last week. One of the more notable resolutions cited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem only by the Muslim title of al-Haram al-Sharif, disposing of the Temple Mount’s biblical and undeniable connection to Jewish history.

The resolution, which was agenda item #53, claimed that the UN council is “gravely concerned by the tensions and violence in the recent period throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and including with regard to the holy places of Jerusalem, including the Haram al-Sharif.”

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan responded to the resolution stating that it, “completely ignores any link between the Jewish people and the Temple Mount – our holiest site. This is a disgrace. The audacious attempt to rewrite history will not change the indisputable fact that the Jewish connection to the city of Jerusalem dates back thousands of years.”

He also voiced the reality that the world is recognizing more and more Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem, stating, “They will also not change the fact that today, our connection to Jerusalem is stronger than ever. A growing number of countries are moving their embassies to Jerusalem, our united and undivided capital.”

Undoubtedly, despite the many centuries of contention over the disputed site, the Temple Mount is inherently Jewish. In fact, it’s the location where both the Solomonic and Herodian temple once stood.

This was one of seven anti-Israel resolutions passed in the UN this week.
