‘They Sponsor Terrorism’: Trump Moves to Target Muslim Group Following Startling Report by Paul Petitte – CBN News

JERUSALEM — The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic terror group so dangerous that it’s banned in Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Egypt. This year in the U.S., Texas and Florida designated the group a foreign terrorist organization. In the coming days, the Trump administration is expected to do the same.

President Donald Trump’s executive order beginning the process of designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization follows a lengthy report by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, known as ISGAP.

The report, nearly 200 pages long, argues that the Muslim Brotherhood has spent decades advancing what it calls a “civilization jihad” aimed at undermining democratic institutions in the United States and the West.

“This is an organization that believes in murdering Jews, destroying Israel, and destroying the United States of America,” said Dr. Charles Asher Small, the founder and director of ISGAP. “This is their objective.”

Founded nearly a century ago in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood now operates across the Middle East. Hamas originated as the group’s Palestinian branch, according to the report.

In November, Small appeared alongside lawmakers and scholars to warn that the Brotherhood is “more than halfway through” what ISGAP describes as a 100-year plan to erode democratic societies from within.

“They sponsor terrorism, murder, and mayhem across the planet,” said U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee at a recent Knesset prayer event. “They are a very negative and destructive force, and it’s very important for the United States to use its power and influence to call them out for what they are.”

The ISGAP report focuses heavily on what it describes as the Brotherhood’s influence operations in the West, particularly in academia. It alleges that groups such as the Muslim Students Association and Students for Justice in Palestine serve as vehicles for spreading the organization’s ideology. The report cites Students for Justice in Palestine as a major force behind violent anti-Israel protests at Columbia University.

Small pointed to the election of Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York City as evidence of what he describes as long-term political penetration.
“He came out of SJP,” Small said. “He was a student activist for Students for Justice in Palestine at Bowdoin College. It’s important for your listeners to understand that SJP comes out of American Muslims for Palestine, which is a Muslim Brotherhood-backed organization.”

Trump’s executive order states that Muslim Brotherhood chapters in Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt pose a threat to U.S. national security interests.

Middle East analyst Dr. Mike Evans said he urged the administration to expand the scope of the order to include Brotherhood-linked activity in Syria, Turkey and Qatar.

“The Muslim Brotherhood and Qatar funded and fueled terror — al Qaeda, the Taliban, Iran and Hamas,” Evans said. “These people hate us.”

At the state level, decisions by Texas and Florida governors to label both the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations as terrorist organizations are currently being challenged in court.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott cited past convictions tied to CAIR affiliates in defending the designation. “One of the founders of the Texas branch of CAIR was sent to prison for 65 years for financing terrorism,” Abbott said. “The fact of the matter is there are people associated with CAIR who pose a serious danger.”

Under Trump’s order, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent must submit a joint report by the end of the year outlining next steps toward a formal designation.

The Muslim Brotherhood is already banned as a terrorist organization in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Syria, and Jordan. However, the ISGAP report says Brotherhood-linked organizations continue to operate freely in Turkey and Qatar, funding media outlets and political influence campaigns worldwide.

“Qatar is buying favor with the BBC, CNN, and other media outlets, including Al Jazeera, and it’s now into our political system,” Small said.

Evans said a formal U.S. designation would dramatically limit the group’s global reach. “It’s a game changer,” Evans said. “When you designate a terrorist organization, they can’t move anymore. They have no room to operate.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised Trump’s initiative and indicated Israel may follow with its own designation.

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel warned that radical Islamist groups have been clear about their long-term goals. “We’ve seen the movements of radical jihadist groups who say very clearly that what they seek is the destruction of Western civilization as we know it today,” Haskel said.

Who In Their Right Mind Thinks This Is A Good Idea??

At times I think the man I voted for 3 different times has completely lost his mind. Turkey? A sworn enemy of Israel. Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia get our most advanced fighter jets. Turkey is a sworn enemy of Israel. Mr. President you have no idea of the ramifications of walking with the devil. Is Israel still an ally? Make it make sense. Israel was two weeks from victory in Gaza, and Kushner and Witkoff, at your bidding stop Israel. Why? Questions, but no intelligent answers.

(Dec. 16, 2025 / JNS)

Qatar is in negotiations with the United States to purchase F-35 stealth fighter jets, adding to Israeli concerns about maintaining its military edge as several Middle Eastern countries pursue the advanced aircraft, Hebrew media reported on Monday.

The discussions between Qatar and Washington represent a renewed push after Doha’s request for the jets stalled five years ago, according to Israel’s Channel 12News. Unlike previous attempts, current talks appear more substantive, raising alarm in Jerusalem.

Israel is growing increasingly concerned as several regional powers simultaneously pursue American military hardware. Saudi Arabia is pushing ahead with an F‑35 purchase as part of an emerging U.S.–Saudi defense pact, after President Donald Trump said Washington “will be selling F‑35s” to the kingdom. The United Arab Emirates may seek to revive a previously suspended F-35 purchase. Turkey is also exploring acquisition possibilities.

The Israeli defense establishment warns these combined sales could erode the air force’s qualitative military advantage, which depends on technological superiority and operational freedom across the Middle East.

In response, Israel has begun drafting a compensation package that includes two new fighter squadrons—one F-35 unit and one F-15IA squadron, specially adapted for Israeli use—along with substantial ammunition supplies, according to the report.

Israeli officials face pressure to act quickly, according to Channel 12, as delays could push the country back in American manufacturers’ production schedules. Defense sources believe securing enhanced capabilities is critical to maintaining Israel’s military superiority despite the narrowing window for negotiations with the Trump administration while it is reshaping regional arms sales.

Sifting Sand

Good morning friends, I hope I am not interfering with your day, but I feel a foreboding in my spirit over what has happened in the last few weeks with President Trump and some of the headlines that have dominated the news. This is not a bash fest, but a concern and call to intercession on behalf of Trump and his recent policies.  I am concerned by his mental state, flashes of anger, and profanity seems to be getting the best of him.  A call to pray for Trump!

As a supporter of Trump as we all are, his latest steps have brought the covenant of Israel in the forefront.  Why the close affiliation with Qatar, who funds Hamas with hundreds of millions of $$.  What of his push with Saudi Arabia to join the Abrahamn accords?  (they won’t join without a Palestinian state).  Abraham Accords? Worship the same God, no we don’t. Qatar and Saudi governments have a plan to invest in America to destroy us and conquer us.  They do it with $$. Funding and investing in universities to get a foothold into America. Jihad comes into America in various ways.  Why accept the new mayor of NY Mamdani into the White House? Two years ago he was Al Qaeda?  Can two walk together except they are in agreement? Amos 3:3

The visual in one week of Sunni and Shite in the White House is striking.  The spiritual connotation of handshakes, agreements and smooth words is concerning.  Where is Israel in this? Have we begun to tell them, (no settlements in Judea & Samaria) not talk with them.  Netanyahu agrees, what else can he do?  Israel is fast becoming a vassal state to us and the Islamist have become investment partners.  Money is the mother’s milk in politics.  God will have the last say. Psalms 2 God laughs at our feeble plans, He has spoken.

Again I am not bashing Trump, I am concerned in my spirit the direction we have turned.  Woe unto those who seek to divide Israel.  God will judge.

We are at the precipice of decisions that may and will affect us as a nation.  I fear Trump has been given bad advice.  I don’t blame Trump because even few Pastors understand the importance of standing with Israel and the eternal covenant with Abraham and the Jewish people.

Final note, he needs a real spiritual advisor, and he needs to listen to them.  Jack Hibbs, Tom Hughes, where are you? Intercession according to the will and purpose of God.  Rh

Epilogue : The Bible says when you see these things happening, look up for your redemption draws near.  Wars, rumors of wars, deception, earthquakes, floods in Ethiopia, Indonesian, Thailand, and dormant volcano erupting in Ethiopia, just in the last two days!  Maybe the worst is the genocide of Christians in Nigeria. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!  Maranatha

Prophetic Update

“This is a week that many evangelical and biblically-aligned observers would say would make the anti-christ proud — not because Trump is the anti-christ, but because the sequence of events aligns with patterns of global consolidation and international control over Israel’s future.”  William Koenig

This was a horrible week for Israel.  President Trump has done everything he could to cozy up to radical Islam from pushing through a vote in the UN for Arab and Muslim Security Force in Gaza, to a full blown coronation of the Saudi Crown Prince, and ending with a meeting with a well known radical anti-Semite just elected mayor of New York.

The UN Security Council gave Trump  the votes for an International Security Force to keep peace in Gaza.  That is like having the proverbial fox oversee the chicken coop.  Having radical Islamist keep peace in Gaza that in part funded Hamas?  Phase 1, return all hostages, Phase 2 disarm, not done so let’s skip to a peacekeeping force.  That should work out ok. What was Einstein’s definition of insanity?

Almost a coronation of MBS, crown prince of Saudi Arabia.  Saudi Arabia gets F-35 jets, our best and latest fighter jet, (horrible Idea) and we get up to a Trillion dollars of investments.  Nothing was signed yet.  Saudi Arabia may join, which Trump is praying for, the Abraham Accords.  MBS wants a definite path to a two state solution.  Joel 3:2, God says he will judge any nation that divides the covenant land of Israel.  Again, a horrible idea. Once more treating Israel as a vassal state.

Maybe the most incredulous idea, that is borderline stupidity, welcoming Mamdani after his statement of jailing Netanyahu, disbanding the police, and his general hatred of America.  Full blown Islamic socialist who appointed a radical female pro Palestinian to replace himself in the New York Legislature.  Her degree is in Palestinian Liberation.  Mamdani is doubling down on his radical ideology and he gets a visit to the White House? Trump says “he is not a jihadist”.  That’s comforting.

Each point could be expanded upon and maybe in the future I will, but suffice to say this has been a horrible week for America and especially for Israel.  They are a friendly sovereign nation, not a vassal state of the US.  Let’s not forget that Trump brazenly told them no “annexation of Judea & Samaria” , their Biblical homeland, because Trump already told the Arabs that Israel wouldn’t do it.

Look, I voted for Trump three times, but I have to be true to my integrity. I will call out bad policy when I see it.  Current events in light of Bible Prophecy, this has been a week the UN and the one worlders of global governance loved.  Trump has made bad decisions, hopefully Israel and cooler heads will prevail, but the cat is out of the bag.  Again this has been tried before, especially the two state solution, (Clinton’s Oslo Accords) has been tried and failed miserably. In effect the Palestinians have had a state called Gaza from which they executed a failed, but deadly attack that brings us to where we are now.  They don’t want a state, they want to destroy Israel, along with most of the Middle East.

Einstein’s definition of ignorance, “doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.”  Age-old hatred and mistrust dominate the key players in the Middle East.  The smart thing would be to “dance with the one who brought you,” (old country song).  That my friends would be Israel. Buckle your seat belts this could be a bumpy ride. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalms 122:6 Rh

Host Laura Ingraham repeatedly butted heads with President Donald Trump in a fiery interview on Fox News.

Trump, 79, appeared on Fox’s The Ingraham Angle on Monday, but did not get the usual easy ride he might expect on the conservative network. Before the interview had even aired, it wasn’t looking good for the president.

Ingraham previewed the episode with a video posted on her Facebook page at 5 p.m. Monday, filmed with Trump in the Oval Office. Referring to his beloved gold embellishments, the host asked, “So these aren’t from Home Depot?”

Turkey issues ‘genocide’ arrest warrants against Netanyahu and other Israeli officials

November 7, 2025

Source: CNN

Turkey on Friday issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and dozens of other Israeli officials on “genocide” charges.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office said it has issued warrants against 37 people. Besides Netanyahu, warrants target Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and military chief Eyal Zamir, among others.

The warrants charge the Israeli officials with “crimes against humanity” and “genocide” committed in Gaza and against the flotilla carrying aid to the enclave, according to the prosecutor’s office. That flotilla was intercepted by Israeli authorities last month.

Major corruption scandal engulfs top Zelensky allies

November 12, 2025

Source: BBC

Ukraine’s energy and justice ministers have resigned in the wake of a major investigation into corruption in the country’s energy sector.

President Volodymyr Zelensky called for Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk and Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko’s removal on Wednesday.

On Monday anti-corruption bodies accused several people of orchestrating a embezzlement scheme in the energy sector worth about $100m (£76m), including at the national nuclear operator Enerhoatom.

Some of those implicated in the scandal are – or have been – close associates of Zelensky’s.

Hamas officials meet Turkish intel chief in Istanbul

The Islamist group reiterated it commitment to the Gaza truce and discussed civilian needs and governance with Turkish mediators.

Copied from JNS.org

On Sept. 19, I wrote a commentary entitled “Turkey: A Rogue Nation On The Rise,” in my blog. If you haven’t read it, it may give some fact and opinions about the positions of Turkey. In face Israel has just as much and in some cases more to fear from them as they do Iran and Russia. Food for thought. Rh

(Nov. 6, 2025 / JNS)

A Hamas delegation led by senior official Khalil al-Hayya met with Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Director İbrahim Kalın in Istanbul, the Palestinian terrorist organization said on Thursday.

According to the statement, the two sides discussed the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire, reopening of border crossings and humanitarian aid efforts.

The Islamist group reaffirmed its commitment to the U.S.-brokered truce and addressed next steps for Gaza’s reconstruction, including sewage, roads and electricity infrastructure. Talks also covered the possible handover of Gaza’s administration to an independent Palestinian committee and the ongoing challenges of what the terror group claims are Israeli ceasefire violations.

Jerusalem has accused Hamas of multiple ceasefire violations since the first stage of the agreement went into effect last month, including terrorists crossing the Yellow Line into IDF-controlled Gaza and attacking troops, and Hamas slow-walking the return of the remains of hostages it murdered.

Last week, the same Hamas representatives met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Istanbul to advance details of the ceasefire agreement.

Jerusalem opposes any involvement by Turkey or Qatar in the reconstruction of Gaza, citing both countries’ support for Hamas and their hostility toward Israel. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has repeatedly used inflammatory rhetoric against Israel since the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack and throughout the Gaza war, and Ankara has imposed a series of anti-Israel measures, including a trade boycott.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio – Remarks in Israel

Headlines from the remarks of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a visit to the International Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat:

Although there are difficulties in implementing the ceasefire, there are reasons for optimism.

We are working to create a better life for the residents of Gaza without Hamas.

If Hamas refuses to disarm, this will be a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

We expect the complete disarmament of Hamas.

All parties have agreed that Hamas will have no future role in the Gaza Strip.

The international force to be deployed in Gaza should be composed of soldiers from countries with which Israel feels comfortable (this is in response to the question regarding the deployment of Turkish soldiers – West Bank).

Applying Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank threatens the peace process; I believe this will not happen.

UNRWA will not be able to play any role in Gaza – it belongs to Hamas.

Israeli Diaspora minister: Erdogan a ‘sworn enemy’ of Israel, West

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly ruled out Turkey’s participation in the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.

(Oct. 21, 2025 / JNS)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a “sworn enemy of Israel and the West, a jihadist in a suit,” Amichai Chikli, the Jewish state’s minister of diaspora affairs and combating antisemitism, charged on Monday.

The Jewish state “will not tolerate a Turkish presence” on its southern border with the Gaza Strip or northern frontier with Syria, Chikli tweeted, slamming Ankara’s potential involvement in U.S. President Donald Trump’s recently-launched peace plan for the Middle East.

“‘May Allah, for the sake of His name … destroy and devastate Zionist Israel.’ This sentence was not uttered by a Hamas or Hezbollah leader, it was said in a public prayer on March 30, 2025, by the President of Turkey,” the Israeli Cabinet minister noted in his post on X.

Erdogan “is consistently trying to undermine the Jewish people’s eternal bond with their capital,” according to Chikli, who said that the Muslim leader “likely never opened the Quran nor heard of King David and Solomon, both praised in Surah Al-Anbiya and other chapters.”

“We remind the ignorant dictator Erdogan of one simple truth,” Chikli wrote. “Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel since the days of King David 1,500 years before the birth of Muhammad, and 2,500 years before the imperial-colonial Ottoman occupation.”

Erdogan’s remarks were “not slips of the tongue. They are the words of dangerous enemy,” he concluded.

In a statement backed by Trump last week, Erdogan pledged support for Washington’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip, committing to supporting post-conflict management in the coastal enclave after the war ends.

Under the plan, Turkey has committed to deploying search and rescue teams to Gaza to help recover the bodies of slain hostages and clear up the rubble. Ankara is also expected to join a multinational task force overseeing the ceasefire and assisting in the training of local forces.

However, according to an Israel Hayom report on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out Turkey’s participation in the International Stabilization Force, defining it as Israel’s “red line.”

Netanyahu has reportedly also communicated reservations about Turkish companies participating in the reconstruction of the Strip.

Israel Hayom cited political sources as saying that Netanyahu’s mention of “new threats” in a Knesset speech on Monday referred to the growing influence of Turkey and Qatar. Trump is said to hold Ankara and Doha in high regard, while Israel views both nations as destabilizing forces.

Ze’ev Elkin, who serves as an additional minister in the Israeli Finance Ministry, told the nation’s Kan Reshet Bet radio station on Tuesday that Jerusalem “must act” to limit Turkish involvement in the Gaza Strip.

“We all hear Erdogan’s statements,” the minister said, adding that while “the Emirates can be trusted a bit more, ” he did not have faith in their ability to effectively disarm Hamas as required under Trump’s plan.

Turkey is believed to have been among the issues discussed during Netanyahu’s meetings on Monday with Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, and his Mideast envoy, Steve Witkoff, Israel Hayom reported. Reported by JNS News

Turkey; A Rogue Nation On The Rise

I have said for many years that Russia, even though they will be leading the Ezekiel 38 coalition that moves against Israel in the last days, is not the primary nation to worry about. I think Turkey is going to be an instigator just as much if not more than Russia. Yes Russia seems to be the primary nation from the far north, however, many of the nations that are mentioned are not only Muslim but have been a part of the old Ottoman Empire.

The leader of Turkey is a dictator. His human rights record is horrible.  Edorgen imagines himself an end time leader to bring a resurgence of the caliphate.  He has visions of grandeur.  He walks a tightrope as a member of NATO, but also staying true to his Muslim brothers. At times he has ignored Israel, but most recently the rhetoric that is being hurled against Israel by Turkey is troublesome. Turkey has 450,000 troops ready to march, second among NATO forces, and  a sophisticated drone wing as well as working on missile technology. Turkey is now a rogue nation, threatening Israel, and others in the Middle East, including Syria, and having a close relationship with Russia and China.  This is a nation that needs to be taken seriously.

Perhaps the most dangerous element of Erdoğan’s strategy lies to Israel’s north. Turkey has entrenched itself in Syria, creating zones of influence just across Israel’s border. This puts Turkish forces—and the Islamist militias it backs—perilously close to Israel’s northern frontier. For Israel, the nightmare scenario is clear, Turkey an established state with advanced weaponry, a massive army, and global alliances.

Again, we are living in prophetic times. We understand that Russia will lead a coalition from the north to move on against Israel in what is called Ezekiel 38 war. However, it is Turkey that will be right with them and maybe even pushing them in that direction . Russia will probably have much more economic reasons from moving the Ezekiel 38 war against Israel, but Turkey has an intense hatred of the Jewish people.  Religious  hatred in the Middle East is powerful for war.

Turkey has already reshaped battlefields from Nagorno-Karabakh to Ukraine, and its defense industry is expanding rapidly. This combination of military power, strategic geography, and ideological fervor makes Turkey a unique threat. Iran may be Israel’s most immediate adversary, but Turkey’s long-term potential is greater:

  • a modern state
  • a powerful army
  • and a leader bent on empire.

More Dangerous Than Iran?

For years, Israeli leaders and analysts have worried about Tehran’s nuclear clock. But what if the greater danger is Ankara’s ambition clock?  Iran represents a sectarian Shi‘ite power; Turkey represents the possibility of a pan-Sunni revival.

Where Iran builds power through fear, Turkey builds it through influence—through trade, cultural ties, religious rhetoric, and the promise of Islamic unity. In many ways, this is the more potent formula. A leader who can unite diverse Muslim nations under the banner of Jerusalem’s “liberation” poses a threat that reaches far beyond rockets and centrifuges.

For those who read history with the Bible in hand, the rise of Turkey as Israel’s adversary should not come as a surprise. Ezekiel 38 describes a vast northern coalition led by “Gog of the land of Magog” that will one day march against Israel. Among the nations listed are Meshech and Tubal—regions that many scholars trace back to modern-day Turkey.

This prophecy outlines not just a sudden attack, but a deliberate alignment of nations under a leader who seeks to destroy Israel in the latter days. We are told that this coalition will include Persia (modern Iran), Cush, Put (North Africa), and others—but Turkey may very well be the spearhead of the end-time invasion

Never fear, it will not be Israel’s strength that saves them on that day, but it will be the very hand of God that will fight on Israel‘s behalf. As a noted radio personality, and defender of the faith Jan Markell has said recently, “the pieces are not falling apart, they’re falling into place.”  Maranatha

Beijing’s Week of Power: A Parade, a Summit—and a Tableau That Looked Like a Preface to Armageddon

By Tania Curado Koenig

Dateline — Beijing/Tianjin (analysis)

President Xi Jinping used one concentrated week to fuse pageantry with power politics: a high-stakes Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Tianjin followed by the largest military parade modern China has staged, marking 80 years since the end of World War II. At the reviewing stand, Xi was flanked by Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un—as Iran’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian and a tier of Global South leaders looked on. The optics were unmistakable: a counter-Western alignment paraded down Chang’an Avenue.

What exactly happened—and who was there:

– The SCO summit (Aug 31–Sept 1, Tianjin) drew Putin, India’s Narendra Modi, Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and others for bilateral huddles with Xi. The summit framed China’s pitch to lead a non-Western security/economic space.

– The parade (Sept 3, Beijing) was the capstone: China’s “biggest” Victory Day review to date, with more than two dozen heads of state/government in attendance. Putin and Kim were treated as guests of honor; Iran’s President Pezeshkian and numerous Eurasian leaders joined the tribunes.

– Turkey’s posture: Erdoğan met Xi in Tianjin and conferred with Putin, but Ankara sent its foreign minister Hakan Fidan (and energy minister Alparslan Bayraktar) to the Beijing parade—symbolism that keeps Turkey’s options open while it remains a NATO member.

What Beijing chose to show the world

China spotlighted new hypersonic anti-ship missiles, ICBMs, autonomous undersea drones, and a triad of counter-drone defenses—missile gun, high-energy laser, and high-power microwave—plus expanded unmanned swarms and sea-denial systems.

The message: anti-access/area-denial (A2/AD) is maturing across domains (air, sea, undersea, space, cyber).

A striking—and strange—sidelight: a hot-mic moment in which Xi and Putin were heard musing about human longevity during the parade broadcast—a reminder that authoritarian theater can blur into millenarian aspiration.

Why this looked (to many) like a living footnote to Ezekiel 38 and Revelation 16
Students of prophecy saw three pillars on display:

1. A consolidating bloc hostile to the West—China at the center, Russia sabre-in-hand, North Korea in tow; Iran present and vocal about a “new order”; Turkey maneuvering between camps. (Ezekiel’s “Gog of the land of Magog” and confederates; Revelation’s kings gathering toward the last conflict.) This week’s visuals supplied the most vivid contemporary iconography of that alignment to date.

2. Military-technological acceleration—hypersonics, lasers, and unmanned undersea systems that complicate Western and allied defenses. (Strategically, this narrows warning time, stresses missile defense, and threatens carrier groups and ports.)

3. Narrative warfare—China framed itself as custodian of an alternative world order, using history (WWII victory) and development rhetoric to rally Global South sympathies even as it flexed hard power.

The theological note: Prophecy watchers should avoid over-precision—Scripture gives contours, not calendars. But the convergence of actors (Russia, a rising Eastern power bloc, Iran/Persia, and a vacillating Turkey) and the gathering logic of coalition warfare are now visible to the naked eye.

What shifted geopolitically

– Signal of cohesion among autocracies: The Xi-Putin-Kim tableau—and Pezeshkian’s participation—advertised regime resilience and mutual backing under sanctions pressure. It also showcased China as convener-in-chief for a post-U.S. order.

– Pressure on U.S. alliances: India still hedges; Turkey keeps a foot in two worlds; Gulf and Central Asian states court Chinese capital. The SCO/BRI umbrella gives political cover for trade, energy, and arms linkages that reduce Western leverage.

– Hardware + doctrine: The anti-drone “triad,” hypersonics, and unmanned undersea systems align with China’s Taiwan and Western Pacific war-planning—but scale equally well to Middle East scenarios where swarms, lasers, and long-range fires would stress U.S.–Israel defense architecture.

Where Turkey fits

Erdoğan’s presence at the SCO and his ministers’ attendance at the parade underscore Ankara’s transactional east-west balancing. It extracts energy and defense advantages while leveraging NATO status—an ambiguity that matters if a wider Eurasian conflict tests alliance commitments.

Where Iran fits

Pezeshkian’s China trip foregrounded Tehran’s aim to break isolation through SCO channels and deepen China-Iran ties (energy, sanctions-proof finance, and security coordination). The optics beside Xi and Putin matter as much as any communiqué.

Watch list (next 90 days)

1. Follow-on drills or deployments featuring the parade’s debut systems (hypersonics, lasers, naval drones).

2. SCO deliverables: energy corridors, currency settlement pilots, or defense-industrial MOUs announced post-summit.

3. Turkey’s next move: procurement or joint-production signals with China/Russia vs. NATO-aligned commitments.

4. Iran–China practicalities: shipping, insurance, and tech transfers that harden a sanctions-resistant network.

Bottom line

Was this the march toward Armageddon? No one can claim that certainty. But as a preface, the week in China assembled many of the cast members and much of the choreography: a convening power (China), a belligerent partner (Russia), an erratic spoiler (North Korea), an ideologically fixed Iran, and a hedging Turkey—against a backdrop of weapons built to compress time and space in war.

For those with eyes on both headlines and prophecy, Beijing just staged a rehearsal dinner.
