Living In Prophetic Times-Last Days Part 1

In my estimation the end times, as the Bible calls it, began when a tiny piece of ground in the Middle East was given back to the Jewish people.  On May 14 1048 the nation of Israel was born.  Many including myself the term is reborn, but for those who only trace history back to the day they were boren, I will leave it as it is.  Biblically God gave sure words of Prophecy through Isaiah, Daniel and other prophets in the Old Testament to that fact of Israel becoming a great nation in the last days.  The fig tree shall blossom and the desert bloom like a rose.  To anyone who does not believe in God, I point to Israel.
For those of us who think the world revolves around our Western culture and nations, think again.  The center of it all is Jerusalem in Israel.  We are but bit players in the grand scheme of what is termed “The Last Days.”  As we look back on that day in 1948 and realize President Truman’s signature fulfilled Bible Prophecy found in Isaiah 66:8 “Shall a nation be brought forth in one day?  Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment.  The resounding answer is yes!

Is Biden preparing to use new CIA director to broker another back-channel deal with Iran? The very thought is raising alarm bells in Jerusalem

Iranian-Sponsored Militias Targeted in Suspected Israeli Airstrike in Eastern Syria @BeholdIsrael.org

More Iranian-backed militias were targeted in a suspected Israeli airstrike over the weekend in the Deir ez-Zor region; Other interests are reported to have been hit in the attack.

In eastern Syria, the Deir Ez-Zor region, specifically Al-Bukamal, experienced what is believed to have been another Israeli airstrike over the weekend. Al-Bukamal has been a frequent hotspot for Israeli airstrikes, especially in the last year or more as Iranian entrenchment has grown inside Syria, something Israeli officials have vowed to prevent.

This would be the fourth Israeli airstrike in Syria in January should Israel be the source.

Al-Bukamal is the major border crossing town from Iraq into Syria as the Iranian regime continues to seek a “highway” from Tehran to the Mediterranean coast.

In Saturday’s attack, it’s unknown whether or not there was a specific target, though it is confirmed that multiple vehicles were hit. However, the Imam Ali base in the area may have been of designated interest as it includes several Iranian military elements. Additionally, it’s reported that a new shipment of missiles arrived from Iran at the end of the week.

Between the four strikes that occurred in January, several dozen pro-Iranian fighters were killed in addition to the destruction of weapons and military structures such as munition warehouses, tunnels, and various military vehicles. Each of the strikes took place nearly one week apart from each other.

Saturday night’s series of attacks amounted to 15 total airstrikes.

Again keep your eyes on the Middle East, including the face that Fake President Biden sent in troops to Syria. Military Industrial complex needs war for their success. JUST MY OPION.

Iran and Turkey Pursue Renewed Relationship Following Departure of Trump Administration @BeholdIsrael.org

The two countries are committed to strengthening their ties following the transition out of the Trump era; Iran’s foreign minister visited Turkey late this week to discuss several matters; Turkey’s foreign minister calls on the Biden administration to withdraw Trump era sanctions.

Amid the reality of a new US administration, the Iranian regime and Turkey are motioning to re-solidify their relationship, ultimately involving other nations moving forward. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif visited Turkey this week and met with several Turkish officials belonging to the Foreign Ministry to discuss regional stability.

Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that within Zarif’s visit, “all aspects of our bilateral relations will be discussed and views on regional and international issues will be exchanged.”

The Trump administration expressed willingness to work with the Turkish government over the last four years, putting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime in a difficult position regarding his relationship with the Iranians. In contrast, the White House emphasized a ‘maximum pressure’ campaign towards the Islamic Republic over the last four years following the US decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.

According to Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, “Turkey hopes that the newly elected Biden administration in the U.S. will return to the nuclear agreement with Iran and withdraw sanctions on the Iranian people.” In essence, in the last four years, Turkey has been torn between protecting its relationship with Iran and leveraging its diplomatic relations with the US.

US Deploys B-52 Bombers to Persian Gulf, Warning Iran Against Possible Attacks

The United States flew two B-52 bombers over the Persian Gulf on Wednesday as a forewarning to Iran against any potential attacks against American or allied targets in the Middle East.

Additionally, the senior military official said there could be a “potential for other more complex attacks” against Americans in Iraq. “I think it is likely that the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad would be attacked again in some manner.”

He added, “We’re seeing planning for, particularly in Iraq for complex attacks that require Iranian assistance in order to be pulled off. It’s unclear to us, whether it’s contingency planning, or whether it’s a plan that is advancing because approval has been given and they’re just trying to get all the pieces in place and execute.”

“We’re Not Ready” – Pastor Urges US Christians to Prepare for Persecution

Milton Quintanilla | Contributor for ChristianHeadlines.com | Friday, December 11, 2020

Pastor Andrew Brunson, who served as a missionary in Turkey for over 20 years, recently predicted that U.S Christians will face increased persecution in the near future.

According to CBN News, Brunson’s remarks were made during the “Global Prayer for US Election Integrity” event on Facebook last Sunday.

“On my return to the US just over two years ago, for the first time in my life—most of my life I’ve been focused overseas—for the first time in my life, I really, I have an urgency for this country, for the United States,” Brunson explained. “And not just with this election. It’s not precipitated by this election, but it has been growing in me these last two years.”

He warned of increasing pressures in the U.S, especially towards people “who embrace Jesus Christ and his teaching, who are not ashamed to stand for him. My concern is that we’re not ready for this pressure. And not being prepared is very, very dangerous on a number of levels.”

In 2016, Brunson was unjustly imprisoned in Turkey after the government accused him of partaking in an alleged coup against Turkish President Erdogan. Bruson then spent the next two years in prison despite having nothing to do with the allegation.

Fortunately, the imprisoned pastor would be released following diplomatic intervention from the Trump administration. Brunson had also established the Izmir Resurrection Church, which preached Christ and tended to Syrian refugees, including Kurds.

Despite his imprisonment, Brunson believes God would providentially use his story to help prepare other Christians to persevere despite the forthcoming trials

“I think one of the purposes God had for me in my imprisonment was that I learned perseverance at a deeper level again and again and again, as I was repeatedly broken and finally he rebuilt me,” he noted. “But one of the purposes he had for me was to learn this perseverance so that I could help to prepare others to persevere.”

Whether or not President Trump can overturn the 2020 election, Brunson says persecution will come no matter who is in the White House.

“Whoever ends up prevailing in this election, I believe that persecution is still coming and it’s coming quickly and it’s coming soon,” he cautioned. “So if President Trump prevails, it will delay persecution at a government level, but this will not keep us from the hostility that’s rising in our society toward followers of Jesus.”

Even though Jesus “was the most loving, kind person in history,” he was called evil, Brunson said, and that the same is to be expected for all Christians.

“They will say that we are evil and they will justify everything they do to us because they will paint us as evil people,” Brunson continued. “What is heavy on my heart, is that we need to prepare ourselves to prepare our own hearts.”

Tensions Rise

As tensions are rising, the Nimitz carrier strike group is about to enter the Persian gulf. B-52 strategic bombers are seen flying escorted by F-15 fighter Jets. @BeholdIsrael
