It seems the only time Christians are too heavenly minded is when it comes to voting and governmental issues. That is when we take a hands off approach to things that pertain to our freedoms and our quality of life. Voting is fundamental. We have the type of government we vote for. We have a choice, stand up and vote your Biblical values or follow isolationist Christians into bondage and slavery. “Big Government” is not our friend. Take the Save Act, overwhelming support by all Americans. Still not even a vote by a so-called Republican majority.

Deja Vu All Over Again

I am in the Oval Office at the White House where we just had a very good call with President Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of The United Arab Emirates, Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, and Minister Ali al-Thawadi, of Qatar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, of Pakistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, of Türkiye, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, of Egypt, King Abdullah II, of Jordan, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran, and all things related to a Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to PEACE. An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries, as listed. Separately, I had a call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, which, likewise, went very well. Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly. In addition to many other elements of the Agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened. Ok so what we have is a preliminary agreement? An agreement largely been negotiated? Remember the Gaza peace deal of the century? Israel was within a couple of weeks of total victory, and Trump jumps in signs a ceasefire and demands Hamas give up their weapons. They never did. Ok now we start a war and are within a couple of weeks of finishing off Iran, we stop and start negotiating? We just left the dissidents in Iran up a creek without a paddle. Will this deal go the way of the Gaza ceasefire? Yep. I just don’t understand, please make me understand it. As long as Iran still have capabilities to make and deploy nuclear weapons, the won. They went toe to toe to Big Satan and won.

I feel the worst for Israel. They will have to deal with them in the near future. Mark my words, this isn’t over, in fact the fighting may have to begin again. When it does I hope Trump has learned his lesson and takes care of business. As of now back to status quo. Rh

The only thing growing faster than the artificial-intelligence industry may be Americans’ negative feelings about it—as former Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt saw on Friday.

Delivering a commencement address at the University of Arizona, Schmidt told students the “technological transformation” wrought by artificial intelligence will be “larger, faster and more consequential than what came before.” Like some other graduation speakers mentioning AI, Schmidt was met with a chorus of boos.

In one poll after another in recent weeks, respondents have overwhelmingly voiced concerns about AI, a challenge to claims by industry executives that their technology would gain popularity by improving people’s lives.

Just recently I read another article that bemoaned the fact that AI would not only wreck havoc with “white” collar jobs, but also “blue” collar jobs as well. My main issue with AI is the fact we don’t fully, maybe we do in some high and mighty circles, understand the rapid growth of the industry. A proposed “hyperscale” data center in Box Elder County, Utah, will create an enormous heat island that could devastate the area’s ecology, according to an expert’s analysis.

Dubbed the Stratos Project and backed by the celebrity venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary, the sprawling facility will devour up to nine gigawatts of energy, its developers say, which is more than double the electricity used by the entire state.

That epic energy bill comes with another cost, albeit the kind that won’t show up on the developers’ books. On top of the nine gigawatts of power, the facility will produce another 7 to 8 gigawatts of energy in the form of waste heat, according to Robert Davies, a physics professor at Utah State University who shared his calculations with The Salt Lake Tribune.

Silicon Valley Wants to Put a Chip in Your Brain – POLITICO

There will come a time, in the not-so-distant future, when you decide to stick a computer chip in your brain.

At least, that’s what D. Scott Phoenix told the audience at TED 2026 in Vancouver last month.

“Someone you work with will get it first. And you’ll hold out for a while, the way you did with the smartphone. But eventually, you won’t,” said Phoenix, dressed in all black with a tiny mic attached to his ear. “The advantages of integration will be hard to compete with.”

Put bluntly, in his view, “We’re on the cusp of the next major transition, the merger of humans and AI.”

This perspective, as outlandish as it may sound, is commonly held in Silicon Valley. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman mused way back in 2017 that “a merge is probably our best-case scenario” for survival after the emergence of superhuman AI. Tech billionaire Peter Thiel is a vocal advocate of “transhumanism.”

Jesus warned about the days of Noah.  That period of time in the Old Testament was a time of utter depravity, where people did exactly what they deemed to be right.  Sound familiar?  Common phrases you hear today, “my truth”, we need a “New Testament,” the one in the Bible is outdated.  Compromised churches try to water down the Gospel to appease their own sins. 

For today’s subject, let  us not forget the trans humans of Genesis 6, fallen angels integrated with daughters of men to produce a race of giants.  (Many scholars think this is where the myths and fables of Greek mythology come from.)  Zeus, Hercules etc. super human gods. Genesis 6 aftermath could be the main reason for the world wide flood, IMO because of trans-humanism.  The integration of two distinct species.  Science fiction? No Biblical truth!  Please be wary of this idiotic transition to AI generated thinking.  Mark of the beast?  Trans-humanism?  Not on my watch, not in my body.

The Bible is plain, we are made in the image of God and never, ever destroy that unique creation by implanting a chip into your brain.  Do not take a mark that glorifies man or computer.  The end will be destruction.

China Update 5/14

Secretary of State, Marco Rubio with China updates today.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio tells NBC: China has confirmed that it does not support turning the Strait of Hormuz into a military tool, and that it opposes imposing fees on passage through the strait.

U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio:

I think China’s preference is probably to have Taiwan willingly voluntarily join them.

In a perfect world, what they would want is some vote or a referendum in Taiwan that agrees to fold in. I think that’s what they would prefer.

Ultimately it’s featured prominently in President Xi’s mandate in the time he’s been in office. He’s made clear that what they call reunification, what they call it, is something that has to happen at some point.

We think it would be a terrible mistake to force that through force or anything of that nature.

President Trump:

President Xi would like to see a deal made. He said, “If I can be of any help at all, I would like to be of help.”

Anybody that buys that much oil obviously has some kind of relationship, and he’d like to see the Hormuz Strait open.

China has also agreed to buy 200 Boeing airplanes.

An Unfaithful Husband And A Bitter Wife

The back and forth between the World’s most powerful nation and a semi third-world wannabe has taken on the role of divorce court 2026.  Every day or two it seems the scorned wife (Iran) blows up and threatens the unfaithful husband (Trump) with humiliation.  Of course then Trump responds with “unacceptable”!  Back and forth we go in an almost daily stream more reminiscent of divorce court rather than two nations attempting to work out a cease fire. Can we get a mediator in the room, please.

One of Trump’s biggest problems, and his best advantage is that he says whatever pops into his brain.  Not always good for mediation, but does keep the enemy off balance.  So I can’t remember is this the third or fourth time Trump has threatened to blast Iran off the face of the earth?  Too many threats and not enough action.  Do it or stop saying it.  The U.S. is starting to sound like a bully, or Obama and his notorious red line in the sand.

Heres is my take:

  • Iran can’t be trusted, they lie
  • If a deal is made, Iran will break it
  • Trump has pressure at home; mid-terms, high gas prices etc
  • Bad advice from the advisors inside the White House
  • Get rid of Kushner and Witkoff, they are money hungry idiots

Just as with Gaza the war which was stopped too quickly, so it is with Iran.  In the case of Gaza it was simply wanting peace so badly that Trump overlooked the fact that throwing money at a religious war will not work.  Been there, tried that more than once.  How do you think Iran got the money to build and buy their weaponry? Obama and his pallets of cash, anyone?  The same thing has happened in Iran, we stopped too soon.  Or IMO we should have been more aggressive in taking Kharg Island, that would have stopped the global oil pressures, and opened the Strait of Hormuz.  Surely we had the firepower to do that with very minimal and possible no loss of life.  

Granted I’m a keyboard warrior when it comes to military intelligence, but come on, we had enough fire power to do the job.  Back to divorce court for another round of “he said”, “she said”.  Will this ever end?  Iran cares less about a solution than Trump does.  That does not bode well for the U.S.

Time will tell the endgame, but as of now the results I see in the future are not at all what I hoped for.  Let us also bear in mind the lateness of our time on earth.  We are in the last days, Iran will still be somewhat viable when Turkey and Russia join them to move against a somewhat peaceful and secure Israel. (Ezekiel 38). God is sovereign and it is all in His timing, but it does seem to be Déjà vu all over again.

If Christianity is to receive a rejuvenation, it must be by other means than any now being used. If the Church in the second half of this century is to recover from the injuries she suffered in the first half, there must appear a new type of preacher. The proper, ruler-of-the-synagogue type will never do. Neither will the priestly type of man who carries out his duties, takes his pay and asks no questions, nor the smooth-talking pastoral type who knows how to make the Christian religion acceptable to everyone. All these have been tried and found wanting. Another kind of religious leader must arise among us. He must be of the old prophet type, a man who has seen visions of God and has heard a voice from the Throne. When he comes (and I pray God there will be not one but many), he will stand in flat contradiction to everything our smirking, smooth civilization holds dear. He will contradict, denounce and protest in the name of God and will earn the hatred and opposition of a large segment of Christendom. Such a man is likely to be lean, rugged, blunt-spoken and a little bit angry with the world. He will love Christ and the souls of men to the point of willingness to die for the glory of the One and the salvation of the other. But he will fear nothing that breathes with mortal breath. This is only to say that we need to have the gifts of the Spirit restored again to the Church. And it is my belief that the one gift we need most now is the gift of prophecy.

I am not speaking of the dime a dozen prophets of today, but holy men preaching the Word! Today’s prophets want to tell the future, the future is written in the Bible. Prophetic preaching is of two kinds, foretelling (predictive) or forthtelling (declaring the Word.

  • Proclamation over Prediction: addresses the immediate situation
  • Exposition from God’s prospective
  • Strengthen, encourage and comfort
  • Brings a vibrant and holy church, rooted and grounded in the Word of God

I pray God raise up holy men and women of God to proclaim God’s Word in a world of confusion and deception. Standing for righteousness with a holy boldness. If God says it, I believe it and declare it. Amen Rh
