Warning – Mid-Terms Are Coming

Senator Tuberville weighs in on the Republican efforts in the mid-terms.  “We are not doing anything.”

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is among a handful of Senate Republicans publicly expressing frustration about doing everything possible to keep control of the U.S. Senate with the midterm elections looming.

According to a report by The Hill’s Al Weaver, the hopes of passing so-called “big-ticket items” to address affordability concerns this year were “quickly fading away,” according to some Republicans.

In brief remarks to The Hill, Tuberville suggested as much, saying there was little movement by the U.S. Senate.

“Are we doing enough? We’re not doing anything,” he said. “Everybody’s working on getting elected.”

Tuberville, a candidate for governor, has suggested some of the gridlock on Capitol Hill is attributed to the long-standing filibuster rule.

He has been a proponent of ending the filibuster in recent months. In a recent op-ed, the senior U.S. Senator warned of a doomsday scenario without the GOP taking a proactive approach to ending the filibuster.

“Republicans must end the filibuster if we have any hope of keeping a Supreme Court that respects the Constitution,” he wrote. “If we fail, Democrats have already said what they will do when they regain power: pack the courts with radicals who will disregard the Constitution altogether.”  Jeff Poor 1819 News

IMO, we the people have spoken and we haven’t been “paid back” on our investment in the do nothing republican party, especially in the Senate. We have the White House, and both chambers in Congress.  Lots of big talk, but where is the action? Judges need appointment from the Senate, the Save Act needs passing, but nothing.  There is a long laundry list of promises made and very few even attempted, much less kept.

The Filibuster?  What to do with that?  I have mixed emotions.  We all know the fear is what would the democratic socialists do when they regain power?

Here is a list:

  • drop the filibuster
  • pack the supreme court
  • Impeach Trump
  • Do away with the electoral collage
  • open borders
  • raise taxes – they call it (investments)
  • destroy America

Too harsh, I don’t think so.

We have missed a grand opportunity to govern.  Tuberville is right, nothing will get done now.  Recess and campaigning is the mandate now.

Believe me when I say we are just as close to losing our Republic as before the 2024 election.  What has been codified into law?  Where is Trump on the issues, he tries to bully, but that doesn’t work like private business.  Make some deals with Congress, get it done.  Call them into the Oval and lay down the law.  Govern!

Trump must focus on these mid-terms or he will be the biggest lame duck President ever.  Trump on the campaign trail is classic. Make the right endorsements, let the money flow and let’s win these mid-terms. You can do both Mr. President, chase peace and save the country from degenerate democrats.  “America First” means saving our way of life. You have the purse strings, use ‘em.  Money and endorsements are the mothers milk of politics.

I’m not fear mongering, but just making salient points that need to be addressed.  As the crazy Cajun (Carville) once told Clinton, “it’s the economy stupid,”.  Well Mr. President, “it’s the mid-terms.”  Rh

Pro Pot Lies Go Up In Smoke

Pro-Pot Lies go Up in Smoke

“The New York Times Editorial Board has just admitted what Eagle Forum has known for years: America has a marijuana problem. The lies that Big Weed has been peddling are going up in smoke,” said Kris Ullman, President of Eagle Forum.

The New York Times admits that many of the pro-legalization crowd’s predictions have proved untrue. Daily marijuana use has not gone down but has tripled.  Marijuana addiction and dependence are not “relatively minor problems” but have led to increases in cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, marijuana-linked paranoia and chronic psychotic disorders, and THC-related auto accidents.

“We commend the New York Times for acknowledging the problems created by easy access to recreational and medical marijuana. We agree that the United States ‘has recently gone too far in accepting and even promoting its use,’” Ullman continued. “That is why Eagle Forum has made educating and advocating against marijuana use a top priority for 2026.”

There are many things that governments can and should do to regulate marijuana. THC potency should be limited, not marketed like candy, and not sold as medicine without full FDA approval. Pregnant and nursing mothers should avoid marijuana entirely. Young people, especially young men, need to be told the truth about the risks of permanent harm to brain development. At a minimum, marijuana should carry black-box warnings about lifelong risks, and no one under 25 should be allowed to purchase it or work in the industry. Foreign nationals and corporations should not be allowed to own marijuana farms or processing operations in the United States. And State and local governments should enforce their laws against the public consumption of marijuana, just as they do for alcohol. The smell of weed is a public nuisance. Supreme Court Hears Arguments on Trans Athletes

The question before the Supreme Court is essentially this, is there a difference in boys vs. girls.  Most with just an average intelligence would say yes, of course.  But the high minded intelligence of the liberal mind is not able to understand the question and most certainly not give an answer.  Our latest Biden appointee to the Supreme Court, when asked by a senator “what is a woman”, did not know.

I am blabbergasted and dismayed  that in the year 2026, with all the knowledge that we have accumulated, that even having the discussion on what is a woman, is not grounds for dismissal from any and all positions in our government!

BELOW are a couple of Justice Thomas questions to the ACLU lawyer before the hearing at the Supreme Court.

  • Justice Thomas sprung a killer question on the ACLU lawyer: “What remedy are you seeking?” Strangio, flummoxed by such a seemingly simple question said an injunction. Justice Thomas then asked “practically, you would get different treatment based on sex?” and the trap was laid.
  • Strangio said the plaintiff (a girl who identifies as a boy) would be allowed to get drugs for “a typical male puberty” despite having a “birth sex [of] female.” That answer made clear that girls who identify as boys would get a right under the Constitution to testosterone, but boys who identify as boys would not, which is…sex discrimination!  Genius.

So much for equal protection under the law.

The Luciferian radical leftist desire is to feminize the male population.  Destroy the American family and sow seeds of chaos.  Simply put ever since the fall in the Garden of Eden mankind has been in a questioning mode against the absolute authority of Almighty God.  If they so even believe in a higher power, which most don’t.

Liberal white females are the root of much of this problem.  Their disdain and outright contempt for the male species has caused a  rebellion against males in general, and in particular the order of God’s creation. But let’s not negate the stupidity of liberal males in government, in particular the august mentality of the Governor of Minnesota who puts feminine hygiene products in the boys bathrooms, or men who claim to breast feed their bought and paid for new babies.  The mental gymnastics, or should I say the mental instability involved is astonishing.

Let’s put this in perspective: a quick trip to a mental health professional could have solved this whole problem long ago. But alas, it was not so.

Listen to Serena Williams explain it:

“Men’s & women’s tennis are completely different sports. If I played Andy Murray, I’d lose 6-0, 6-0 in 5 minutes….It’s true.

He would kill me. Men are a lot faster, serve harder, & hit harder. I only want to play girls.”

As a father to daughters who played sports, one an NAIA softball player, I can tell you I am all in on women’s sports, but not against men, nor am I for trans of any kind sharing bathrooms, showers or sports.  The differences between men and women are a wonderful thing.  Together we are better for it.  Hmmm….God said the “two shall become one.”  Once again God was right!

Fake Conservatives

Excellent post on X by David Limbaugh, brother of the late Rush Limbaugh. This has always been my concerns as well. Please take a read. Rh

David Limbaugh

I try not to make politics personal too often (though I know I sometimes fail). But one thing that gets under my skin is people who either a) pretended to be conservative and cultivated a wide following and then dramatically changed their tune, or b) were ACTUALLY conservative and later changed — without admitting they’ve changed but instead still claim the conservative banner under which to peddle their new poison. This confuses the H out of their naive or ignorant followers and damages the conservative brand and long-respected conservative institutions.

A particularly egregious version of this is when purportedly conservative Christians now promote (overtly or subtly) antisemitism, and slander Israel – often denying their animus and saying their focus is purely based on disagreements with Israeli policies and actions. Many of these people have also adopted and advocated some utterly bizarre historical and political opinions apart from antisemitism, which causes even further confusion.

I’ll add that many of the people doing this, as part of a cynical calculation, are playing to younger audiences and those with grievances and looking for someone to blame. Common sense, tradition, and especially the Bible frown upon corrupting, confusing or leading youth astray. I could cite the Scriptures but the cynics would just say they’re not applicable to this situation – and they can believe that all they want.

So much of this has become personal. And those of us defending conservatism and standing up for the Jewish people are not the ones who have made this personal. I don’t apologize for being personally repulsed by what’s going on.

I leave open the possibility that some purveyors of this toxicity may actually be out of their minds or unwittingly under evil influences (though the latter’s hard to believe), but even if that’s the case, they deserve to be called out too. The stakes are too high. We have a country to save. We have values in which we believe and try to live by. These are strong, bright red lines we must draw.

As to those to whom any of the above applies, why don’t you just admit you have animus for Israel and/or Jews? Why don’t you admit you have become political liberals in the name of conservatism? If you’ll just come out in the open and admit who you are and what you’re about, we can fight you openly and the public can make informed choices. I happen to believe truth and decency will win in the end, but first we need to call out the deceit.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it’s the way I see much of what’s going on “inside” the conservative movement.

315,000 Georgia Votes Lacked Certifying Signatures in 2020 Election, Records Show

After five years of trying, a citizen investigator has finally uncovered proof of widespread irregularities in the 2020 election results for Fulton County, Ga.,
— Read on washingtonstand.com/article/315000-georgia-votes-lacked-certifying-signatures-in-2020-election-records-show

The question is whether anything will be done about this? Not holding my breath. We have to get our elections on track. Faith in elections is the foundation of our republic! Congress and our DOJ must do something substantial, and do it before the ’26 election cycle. Rh

Prayer Alert

Morning prayer warriors!

Urgent need for prayer today.  It seems our President and his administration are making deals with the devil, and no one can do that without getting burnt.  Much on my mind as I see a crumbling of foundational support for Israel and a cozying up to the Arab and Muslims in the MIddle East.  Prayer points below.

  • Worldwide intifada (various attacks here in the US, Australia, France, Germany). Devil knows his time is short.
  • Wisdom for Trump.(he needs a true spiritual advisor)
  • Deal making with the sponsor of terror. (Qatar)
  • Saudi Arabia is pushing for a two state solution.  (Blowback on America if done)
  • Peace commission (10 members) most anti Israel.
  • Trump’s pride getting in the way.  (God’s plan??)
  • Trump & Vance telling not asking Israel to stop settlements in Judea & Samaria.
  • Syria (next hotspot)??

I could go on and on, I see dangerous times for the US if we get in bed with the Islamist.  We seem to have pushed investments over the covenant for peace. We must never forget God’s eternal covenant with Abraham.  (My opinion)

God is sovereign!  I am not hopeless, but hopeful!  The blessed hope!  Two rivers flowing side by side, one righteous (God is moving) another evil.  Let’s ask for spiritual rain for the righteous river to overflow.  I sense this is a particular Kronos time.  Rh

Culture War In the West

Here is an excellent article to better understand why the globalists are working with leftist/communists to destroy America.  They should all go somewhere else and start their own country.  LOL.

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/key-understanding-cult-globalisms-war-west

here are some excerpts….

The culture war in the western world is currently hitting a crescendo. At first the media said it was all “conspiracy theory” being amplified by a “fringe minority” of radical right wingers. Then, they admitted the conflict was real but claimed that conservatives were monsters trying to “dismantle democracy”. Today, the culture war has become the dominant issue of our age with the debate echoing through the halls of the White House.

Leftists hoped they could make it all go away by dismissing it. They hoped they could continue with their ideological takeover at their leisure. They failed.  The rebellion in the US is a product of decades of effort by liberty advocates and it is finally bearing fruit.

The key to understanding the globalist war on the west is first to recognize that a conspiracy of “elites” is a hard, irrefutable fact. Second, we must accept that war has been declared on us and this war is one of total conquest. We are not allowed to live separately and peacefully, our very existence is seen as a threat to the establishment. Third, globalists view western culture as antithetical to their future aims. Globalism cannot prevail as long as western ideals exist.

Finally, as noted, most of the world is against us whether they know it or not. Even old allies in Europe are becoming enemies. Import masses of third worlders into America and they don’t become American, America becomes the third world. Import millions of socialists into the US and the US becomes increasingly socialist. This is very simple to understand, but leftists (and some libertarians) refuse to acknowledge the truth.

Not all cultures are equal.  Some are better than others.  It’s fascinating how liberals continue to pretend as if different nations and cultures don’t produce tribes that are contrary to each other. We are not the same and natural coexistence is a myth.  Coexistence of such groups is created through intimidation, extortion and force.  The liberal Utopian ideal of multiculturalism requires oppressive centralization and tyranny.

Globalism is the mechanism by which total and eternal oligarchy is achieved. They use open borders, mass immigration, woke cultism, economic crisis, international conflagration, engineered pandemics, anything you can think of and more to tear their enemies down. We are their enemy. We didn’t choose this fight, they did, and they will continue changing strategies until they find one that works (or until we end their little experiment).

Big Brother Grid Control – From Where You Drive To What You Post

https://prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=9182#google_vignette

After 9-11 we imposed draconian security measures. Safety was a top priority, however it opened a Pandora’s box. We see more and more intrusion into our daily lives. Today because of past administration who open our borders and let anyone and everyone in, we have once again allowed more intrusion into private lives. Some is good, but most is not. Do we give up our rivals and ultimately freedoms, or safety?? I say no, interesting article I hope you read, link above. Be safe. Rh

Sifting Sand

Good morning friends, I hope I am not interfering with your day, but I feel a foreboding in my spirit over what has happened in the last few weeks with President Trump and some of the headlines that have dominated the news. This is not a bash fest, but a concern and call to intercession on behalf of Trump and his recent policies.  I am concerned by his mental state, flashes of anger, and profanity seems to be getting the best of him.  A call to pray for Trump!

As a supporter of Trump as we all are, his latest steps have brought the covenant of Israel in the forefront.  Why the close affiliation with Qatar, who funds Hamas with hundreds of millions of $$.  What of his push with Saudi Arabia to join the Abrahamn accords?  (they won’t join without a Palestinian state).  Abraham Accords? Worship the same God, no we don’t. Qatar and Saudi governments have a plan to invest in America to destroy us and conquer us.  They do it with $$. Funding and investing in universities to get a foothold into America. Jihad comes into America in various ways.  Why accept the new mayor of NY Mamdani into the White House? Two years ago he was Al Qaeda?  Can two walk together except they are in agreement? Amos 3:3

The visual in one week of Sunni and Shite in the White House is striking.  The spiritual connotation of handshakes, agreements and smooth words is concerning.  Where is Israel in this? Have we begun to tell them, (no settlements in Judea & Samaria) not talk with them.  Netanyahu agrees, what else can he do?  Israel is fast becoming a vassal state to us and the Islamist have become investment partners.  Money is the mother’s milk in politics.  God will have the last say. Psalms 2 God laughs at our feeble plans, He has spoken.

Again I am not bashing Trump, I am concerned in my spirit the direction we have turned.  Woe unto those who seek to divide Israel.  God will judge.

We are at the precipice of decisions that may and will affect us as a nation.  I fear Trump has been given bad advice.  I don’t blame Trump because even few Pastors understand the importance of standing with Israel and the eternal covenant with Abraham and the Jewish people.

Final note, he needs a real spiritual advisor, and he needs to listen to them.  Jack Hibbs, Tom Hughes, where are you? Intercession according to the will and purpose of God.  Rh

Epilogue : The Bible says when you see these things happening, look up for your redemption draws near.  Wars, rumors of wars, deception, earthquakes, floods in Ethiopia, Indonesian, Thailand, and dormant volcano erupting in Ethiopia, just in the last two days!  Maybe the worst is the genocide of Christians in Nigeria. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!  Maranatha

As Time Ticks Down, Congress Faces Its Biggest Hurdle Yet by Suzanne Bowdey

The shutdown may be over, but life doesn’t get any easier for Republicans. While Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) may be the target of his base’s disgust for reopening the government, his party did manage to redirect the conversation to an issue that the GOP has struggled for years to address: health care.

Before the ink on Obamacare was even dry, conservatives made it their mission to topple the law — a goal that they came within a whisper of achieving, but 15 years later, still haven’t. Now, with the GOP’s dire predictions about the misnamed Affordable Care Act coming true and costs spiraling out of control, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) have little choice but to tackle what will almost certainly be a wildly complicated problem. Fortunately for them, though, it won’t be on Democrats’ terms.

By refusing to play Schumer’s games and refusing his absurd demands to keep propping up their doomed program with trillions of taxpayer dollars, Republican leaders have managed to expose the most important truth of all: Obamacare is a failure — just as they insisted it would be. The only way Joe Biden’s party managed to keep it afloat was to shovel enough money into the system to mask the spiking costs and keep the voters from turning on them. But their COVID-era subsidy system is about to come crumbling down, ripping the band-aid off the uncomfortable reality that these sky-high prices are the result of their incredibly flawed law.

As National Review’s editors explain, “From its implementation in 2014, enrollees were subject to dramatic annual premium increases, and the program struggled to sign up younger Americans, driving costs even higher and forcing many large insurers out of the individual market. Republicans were unsuccessful in replacing the program in Trump’s first term with something better,” they lament, “and so when Democrats retook power, they used the emergency of Covid as an excuse to funnel more subsidies to insurance companies. The temporary measure did not fix any of the underlying problems with Obamacare.” If anything, it just hid the impending disaster under a pile of taxpayer dollars.

“What was supposed to be a temporary measure during the pandemic was extended again in 2022 through this year,” the editors note. And let’s not forget, they point out, the subsidies were supposed to stop “when enrollees are at 400 percent of the federal poverty level. The 2021 actions removed that cap and also increased the amount of the subsidy that enrollees who were previously eligible received” — more than doubling the number of people on Obamacare marketplace plans. And although it was Schumer’s party that decided to sunset these credits in 2025 — something a handful of brave Democrats have tried to remind people — they thought they could use the shutdown to squeeze Republicans into extending them.

It’s all combined to create the perfect storm for everyday Americans, who are staring down premiums that are double what they were paying last time around. In part, that’s the sticker shock from the disappearing credits, but it’s also the result of unchecked insurance companies that have been ratcheting up prices for years. “The purpose of Obamacare, according to Democrats, was supposed to be making health care more affordable for everyone and subsidizing it for people with lower incomes. Over a decade later, Obamacare keeps raising costs for health insurance,” NRO’s editors shake their heads, “and Democrats now insist that everyone, regardless of income, should be eligible for larger subsidies than Obama signed.” Of course, “One group that is very happy about this state of affairs is health insurance companies, who are the recipients of the subsidies. ‘About half of all health care spending and the majority of health insurer revenue now comes directly from the government,’ according to analysis from the Paragon Health Institute.”

Unfortunately for both parties, the situation is a ticking time bomb. Open enrollment for Obamacare is already underway, and people who expect coverage in January have to sign up by December 15. That gives Johnson and Thune, who are already under water on appropriations bills and other backlogged business, less than a month (thanks to Thanksgiving) to try to dig the country out of this mess.

As for Obamacare, Dr. Andy Harris (R-Md.) points out, most people had come to understand the ugly truth about Obamacare before subsidies. “We were promised that if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. That’s obviously not true. If you like your insurance company, you keep your insurance company. That’s obviously not true.” Now, the premiums are astronomical. And frankly, he stressed, “The only reason anybody is on it is because the federal government, after COVID, subsidized 95% of the average premium. That’s ridiculous.”

As far as Harris is concerned, “We have to return the power over your health care to you. So that means price transparency. That means health savings accounts (HSAs). That means getting the providers to accept the lowest that they’ve negotiated with some of the big insurance companies to level the playing field between the insurance companies and the average person,” he told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on Saturday’s “This Week on Capitol Hill.”

The result would be a “seismic shift,” Perkins agreed, where “health care decisions and funding [could be] taken away from government bureaucrats and big insurance companies and placed into the hands of the people with a direct relationship with their doctors.” That should be the goal, Harris nodded.

Over in the Senate, Bill Cassidy (R-La.) is taking the HSA idea and running with it. Under a plan he’s mulling, the government would take the money Democrats want to spend in extending the subsidies ($23 billion in 2026) and use it to create the health savings accounts. “HSAs,” The Washington Times underscores, “are tax-exempt accounts paired with high-deductible health insurance plans. The consumer can use money from the account for co-pays and deductibles, prescription drug costs and other out-of-pocket health expenses.”

“Who [wouldn’t] want to spend 100% of the dollars on the patient choosing the health care she wants, as opposed to 100% going to insurance companies and only 80% being spent on health care?” he told reporters Monday. “As a conservative, I love it. But I think it’s got a lot of appeal to people who are left-of-center, too.” Cassidy plans to unpack the concept more in a hearing this week.

That’s more than okay with House conservatives like Harris. “The fact of the matter is that right now, most people don’t have any control over [their health care]. It’s controlled by insurers who decide whether or not you’re going to get health care, whether or not you qualify for surgery, whether or not you qualify for some drugs. [It’s] crazy. That decision should be in the hands of the individuals,” he emphasized, “not the government, not the insurance companies. And we could expand this well beyond Obamacare. … What we can do is we can take some of those subsidies, those huge subsidies we’ve been paying to insurance companies, give the lion’s share of that [to] someone with an HSA, and then have them go out and buy their care if they want.”

Asked how quickly Congress could move on this, Harris was realistic. “Look, we can’t do a comprehensive overhaul of Obamacare before December 31st, but we could start down that path, and we could start making inroads. And then if we have to, we can revisit it after the first of the year. The Democrats want to extend these ridiculous Biden bonuses, these COVID-era enhancements for three years now.” The doctor paused before floating the idea of a temporary fix first. “Maybe we just extend some of them partially for six months while we negotiate all the rest of this. But in the end, there is going to be a negotiation on the high cost of health care premiums for the Americans who aren’t on Obamacare. That’s going to be part of this discussion.”

So will the loopholes for highly controversial “coverage” on abortion and gender transition procedures, which were never addressed. “The Affordable Care Act, the subsidies that we’ve been talking about,” Perkins broached, “they do not have the Hyde protections that prevent taxpayer money from being spent on abortion or transgender surgeries. Is that a part of the conversation?” Harris replied that it “absolutely is.” “With Mike Johnson as speaker of the House, he is not going to bring a bill to the floor that does not include Hyde protections,” Harris reiterated. The majority of Americanswould certainly appreciate that after years of watching helplessly as their dollars flow to the killing of innocent unborn children.

As always for Johnson, the to-do list is long and the road is rocky. But, as he told Perkins this past weekend, “Sometimes it’s an advantage to be underestimated, you know? I don’t know why they continue to do that. You and I both know the answer here is [that] God is doing this. We pray for these things. We work hard.” He smiled when he said, “I get accused of over- spiritualizing everything,” but, he added quickly, “I don’t think you can. I mean, we’re trying to do the right thing, and God honors that. And I expect that’s going to happen in the days ahead because we’re going to continue that same course.”
